481  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do in 2030? on: January 02, 2019, 04:38:45 PM
Looks like many economies around the world are going to be suffering major downfalls around 2030. The demographic pyramid is completely fucked up in many countries, with locals not having kids because basically millennial cannot afford to live on their own due low wages and high cost of living. In Europe it's all over the place. What grinds my gears is economists saying immigration is the solution and they will pay our retirement funds. This is insanity.

Anyway, do you have a portfolio that makes you comfortable about the future? we are definitely on our own so be sure to have some passive source of income for the future. Hopefully Bitcoin saves our ass and by 2030 we don't have to worry about money anymore.
I’m still very young now and I don’t expect to be at the same level I am now, by then I hope to reach a higher level. And I might quit investing in cryptocurrency, depending on the kind of business I will be doing then and what cryptocurrency will be by then, whether it will be worth it or not. But I hope to establish a big business by then so I wouldn’t have to rely on cryptocurrency.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: welcome bulls , Bye bears on: January 02, 2019, 04:11:44 PM
This year I didn't get that much profits only thing I did was holding my investments , I hope all my patience will pay off next year and there will be bull market and I make more profits  Grin

many investors are in same hope only ?? I would like to know what you guys think about next year,
You’re right. I wasn’t happy with 2018 but something tells me that 2019 is going to be a lot of different. I didn’t make as much as I made in 2017. This previous year was very bad for everyone, things didn’t work out as they expected it should. Well I still kept on struggling and kept working hard till now and I believe my hard work will pay very soon. And it’s not going to be small as of last year.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: January 02, 2019, 03:37:25 PM
From what I have seen so far in this forum and other crypto platforms, most of us want fiat eliminated. But let us not forget that there are still situations whereby we can't use crypto except fiat like in rural places without computers or even internet facilities.
People in this forum can only talk, bht they can’t do anything. And by the way they are not even the decision makers, they are just here to discuss about Cryptocurrency and how to help themselves achieve. You can’t eliminate fiat but cryptocurrency can be eliminated. All these people you will see ranting in the forum on how much they hate fiat are the first to withdraw when the price of crypto falls.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: Confirmed, bull run begins now, what expectations? on: January 02, 2019, 02:51:52 PM
Nearly one billion dollars has entered bitcoin today according to cryptonic news item. This week has seen btc doing very well and all are excited.I know most people have individual plans for a moment like this, let's hear yours.
Who confirmed that please? How does anyone know exactly when bull will happen? Of course we all know that there might be a Bull run this year, but we don’t know when it will be exactly, albeit some has claimed it would be the second half of this year.

Some still saying that there won’t be any bull run again, while others says it’s next year which is 2020. But I’m hoping we see it this year cause we have waited for long.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitpay: a new industry players will raise the price of bitcoin up to $20 000 on: January 02, 2019, 02:15:16 PM
There is hope for Bitcoin but I don’t. Know if there is any hope for altcoins. Altcoins seems like they will be left behind this year, unless coins like ETH and Ripple are likely to succeed, but we don’t know that yet; ETH seems to be getting back on top, but as for BTC, everyone is sure of that, there is going to be a huge bull run, and this time is going to be very big for sure, likely to be twice of what it was last two years.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Fiat - this is how I see the future on: January 02, 2019, 01:45:56 PM
At a time where I see currencies moving away from cash to digital I think the reason is partly so that governments can control the flow of their currency more particularly for laundering. They can possibly gain more taxation from a cashless currency because cash cannot be fully traced. If i sell my car for cash to another individual the government dont get any revenue from that because it is not traceable.

So in a governments aim to control our money it will leave a big opening for bitcoin and other decentralised crypto to exist along with fiat and will allow people to "trade" anonymously with each other over a completely independent infrastructure.
I’m just starting to notice that some people here hates the current monetary system. The worst part is that these people makes no sense, they can’t give any good reason as to why they even hate fiat, they just feel like the cryptocurrency will give them freedom and make them rich, lol.

Cryptocurrency gives you no freedom, the government will still control it if they wish. I don’t support cryptocurrency, but I like it. People just needs sense of reasoning.
487  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: January 02, 2019, 01:15:06 PM
Maybe just few people still beginner about crypto and bitcoin are tired, because they do not know detail how bitcoin and altcoin could be lower and higher price, many investor keep stay cool with how ever bitcoin and altcoin price.
Newbies usually have in mind that once they invest money that profit starts coming quickly, but this is not like that, there is no quick money coming from this.

Any business that claims to give quick money is a scam. A genuine business/investment doesn’t work like that, you invest and you have patience for as long as you can. And you should also know that there are risks, you can invest and the price still goes down and you lose.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: Predictions 2019: 3 potential triggers for the next Bitcoin bull run on: January 02, 2019, 12:40:21 PM
Predictions 2019: 3 potential triggers for the next Bitcoin bull run

So far, the price of bitcoin has decreased, many people ask questions, what catalyst is needed to trigger the next increase?

1.   The rollout of a security token ecosystem
2.   BAKKT dan munculnya pasar berjangka institusional baru
3.   SEC approval of a Bitcoin ETF

What do you think about this.
source: https://bravenewcoin.com/insights/predictions-2019-3-potential-triggers-for-the-next-bitcoin-bull-run

I agree Of all the potential catalysts floating close to the surface, the general consensus is that these three are the most likely candidates.

That number won’t make the price of Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency at all to go up. I’m betting on the number two and the number three, cause that’s definitely what everyone is waiting for and once they are approved, you will see that the price will begin to go up immediately.

Lots of sources has claimed that ETF is likely to be approved this year, and I’m hoping that will be true, cause if it happens, you will see the price of Bitcoin going up really fast.
489  Economy / Economics / Re: thinking of selling or investing more. on: January 02, 2019, 12:08:04 PM
I don’t really know for altcoins, but for Bitcoin, I’m very sure that this year the price is going to leave opponents in the dust. So I’m going to keep holding my coins, I believe till the second half of this year, cause that’s likely to be when the price will start to go up. I will be very sorry for those who will decide to sell their coins now, cause they will regret giving up this time around after thru have held for so long.

If i had money then yep i would invest more as i belive recover of market is coming soon ,and all this time havent sell tokens/coins and i hold most of my coins ,hope i will not regret for it and i will be rewarded for it , most important lesson from 2018 is when someone wants do ICO must be sure usable product will be done.
Some of the ICOs last year were not worth the money and time that were invested on them. This year I’m focusing more on trading and Hodl’ing, cause that’s where profit will come from. I’m not going to joke with it this time around, just invest, trade and hold and buy as much as I could and keep waiting till the price goes up. I’m believing so much that the price is going to go up.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2019 on: December 29, 2018, 07:55:45 AM
ICO is still good, I don’t see anything wrong in it. Come 2019 things are going to get even more better. There are lots of good ICOs currently to the extent you wouldn’t know which ones to choose, cause majority of them are too good. But don’t forget there are still Scammers out there and they are plenty.

for now crypto was in bad market condition, many ico project has postponed their ico sale schedule, if you want to invest in ico, better to watch on Q1 2019, if market get better, do invest.
Some people really don’t know if they should be going for ICO or STO, the two don’t really have much difference. But SEC has said that ICOs are a big problem. But investors will always follow what is trending, despite they don’t understand the technology that is being used. The difference with STO is that it has to do with selling securities.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherwallet Hacked!!!! [most see] on: December 29, 2018, 07:11:23 AM
As the post is important, it can not be so big.
It is better not to enter today's Etherwallet without much fanfare.
However, if you need to, if there are some reductions, after all the cuts, then cut all and then enter.
I'm pretty sure the etherwallet has been hacked.
I don’t really know what you’re talking about, MyEtherwallet was not hacked. I have even checked online to see if what’ you’re saying is true, but I didn’t see any such thing. Last time I can remember Etherwallet was hacked was around April and they gave out warning to their users then and told everyone to withdraw their tokens immediately, some people even lose their tokens. So what exactly are you talking about?
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you buy not top 100 alts? on: December 29, 2018, 06:36:23 AM
Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!
It’s best to be buying from the top 100 coins on coinmarketcap list, especially when you’re still a newbie and don’t know how to choose which coin to buy. Even as an old investor, I mostly go for the top hundred coins. Other coins are a risk. I did go for them back then, but last year I didn’t and I don’t intend do that for now. Most of the coins that are not on top the list really don’t survive the fight.
493  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am not sharing my crypto love? <3 on: December 26, 2018, 09:32:45 AM
Too many people think that Cryptocurrencies are a way to get rich quick and they only see from the side and after they try they give up so easily. Believe that crypto still requires hard work and good analysis.
mostly people think that easy to generate profits from cryptocurrency.and unfortunately they didnt prepare their self with trading skill.so its easy to make mistake.and finally give up

In reality, many people, who entered the market last winter, decided to do it only to make money easily. They did not expect that trading could turn to be an extremely difficult job eating their time.
The people who are joining cryptocurrency now are just looking for quick money. They always complain about how the old investors are making money, forgetting that the old investors were people who invested and had patience for close to a decade. That’s one of the reasons I don’t tell people, cause when I tell them how long I have waited before getting profit from Bitcoin, they start to lose hope.
494  Economy / Economics / Re: All times are good to enter crypto - Tim Draper on: December 26, 2018, 08:59:17 AM
All times are good to enter the cryptocurrency market. - Tim Draper
Do you agree with this guy? All I know is Mr. Draper is a billionaire, huge bitcoin bull and a venture capitalist.
I kinda agree with him when I look at the bitcoin inform of investment vehicle for long-term, not just hit and run kind of investment.
What y'all got to say about this?

All times are good to enter cryptocurrency, that is true. If things are going to continue to repeat itself the same way it has been doing in the past, then no matter when you buy cryptocurrency you are going to make profit from it, if not now then in the future. Even those that bought 20k last year still has hope if the price gets above the 20k this year or next during the bull run. So there is no such thing as a late time.

The profits I got thus year is less compared to what I was able to achieve last year. Well I am lucky at least. Cause I do know a lot of people who didn’t even achieve anything this year, all they were coming across this year was just loss. My friend already lost more than 50% ~ 60% so I’m indeed lucky. Don’t really know how next year is going to be, but ETF might be appropriate then and when they do the market might rise again.
496  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin: fixed or not on: December 25, 2018, 07:12:09 AM
Will Bitcoin grow actively before New year? Will it have time to overcome 4500?
How exactly do we know that when all the predictions have been wrong recently? I have seen some say that it will go as low as $2k and if that’s true, then there won’t be any bull this year for sure, cause before it drops to that the year would have ended and we will be in new year. But I do hope that it picks up, I don’t really want it going that low.
497  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [IGNORE THIS THREAD] Moon Coin Faucets - "the best" paying Bitcoin on: December 25, 2018, 06:42:07 AM
Why am I seeing moonlite.co on the list? Isn’t that a Litecoin faucet? And I don’t think anyone can make up to a $100 a month from Faucets, even if they can, Faucets still remains the worst way of earning Bitcoin. I have done back when I was a newbie and it was just a waste of my time. But it’s still a good for newbies to get to know about Bitcoin and how it works and also earn some free little tokens.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could a coin price be locked in place? on: December 25, 2018, 06:08:51 AM
I'm not talking about these supposed stablecoins like Tether, but normal coins.  Let's say an agreement was made among all the major Bitcoin exchanges.  Starting January 1, a Bitcoin is worth $5000 USD, plain and simple, and that's it.  The price never goes higher or lower.  A Bitcoin is $5000 today, tomorrow, next week, next month, etc.  NOTHING changes it.  Not a war, not the economy, not Trump getting re-elected (which he will, he's doing a great job), nothing.

I wonder if that could be done and what the effect would be.

One effect is that I wouldn't be buying BTC, because with no price volatility, how could I ever make a profit?  But one good thing is that normal companies may be more inclined to use Bitcoin, since its price is now fixed and does not change.
Lol, are you doing campaign for Trump? By the way, what you’re asking isn’t possible, the price can’t be locked to a particular price, it fluctuates always (volatile) and there is no way to change that. What moves the price is demand and supply, so let’s assume that people stops to buy and sell for a week, maybe the price will stay stable. But you can’t stop the buying and selling.
499  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto solve socioeconomic problems? on: December 24, 2018, 07:10:11 AM
If everyone around the world gets into cryptocurrency, do you think it will even help in solving or lessen socioeconomic problems? Can it be used to buy goods from other countries? It is fair to say that crypto will help a lot of people but what will it do to one's country? Will it help improve a country's economy?
Ask yourself that question if it’s possible. Changing currency doesn’t mean that a country will get better or that someone will get rich. Even if all countries decide to start making use of cryptocurrency today, they will all still be worth their same value before they started making use of cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency won’t make them rich or make things easy for them or whatever it is you might think.
500  Economy / Economics / Re: Would a global disaster increase or decrease the Bitcoin value ? on: December 24, 2018, 06:40:34 AM
Hi ! First message here.

If a global disaster would happen on earth ( And I somehow don't wish it ) Would the value increase or decrease ?

I'm not talking about solar flares or EMP. But more like big wars or great natural disaster.

What are your opinions on the subject ?  Cheesy
A global disaster does not affect the price of Bitcoin because it is independent on its own (not relying on anything at all). The price of Bitcoin is based the rate of the demand and supply. When the demand is getting bigger the price will also be getting bigger and when the supply is bigger than the demand (which demands has fallen) the price will start to fall. So global disaster has nothing on Bitcoin or nay cryptocurrency.
