There's lots of money to be made in Bitcoin
Yes the wise choice right now is to hold your bitcoin in address which is under your full control so that you can get coins in both chain. You can dump the forked coin when it will split which will be just free money for you and when it will start to dump hard bitcoin price will certainly go up.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get free BCC?
|
on: July 27, 2017, 02:11:20 PM

I am not sure if I should open that topic in altcoins section, but anyway, it is not forked yet Is Bitcoin Cash fork certain after 1 August? If we keep bitcoin in electrum wallet can we get bitcoin cash as same amount as the bitcoins we owned in a wallet that supports BCC? How will this process happen? I also think this should be in altcoin section because BCC will be just another altcoin after split. You might have to export private key of your electrum address to import in other wallet that will support BCC after split. Jaxx also seems talking with viabtc privately about including BCC in their wallet after split, so you might have to import your bitcoin address there to get BCC. https://twitter.com/jaxx_io/status/889880787985760257

Economy / Speculation / Re: When $10k?
|
on: July 23, 2017, 07:13:39 PM
|
Marketcap is still thin but we have to know that it will take lots of time to get new investment added to bitcoin so we can't predict when marketcap will grow so that price per bitcoin will be $10k+ but when segwit will be activated I think price will easily cross over $5000 and when LN will be started than price can shoot upto $10k easily.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start investing in cryptocurrencies with 500$ ?
|
on: July 23, 2017, 07:07:47 PM

Everything is in the title. I have 500$ I want to invest in cryptocurrencies. How should I diversify my portfolio an WHY ?
You should hold 100$ in fiat, 200$ in bitcoin and invest remaining into ETH, LTC and ETC with whatever proportion you want. All of this three alts are in correction phase so it can get pumped when bitcoin price will start to get correction after reaching $3k. Talking about bitcoin you should always hold some bitcoin in hand to buy more alts if they get dumped. Similarly holding fiat will give you the opportunity to buy back cheap bitcoins if it experiences huge dump.

Which browser you are using right now looks like this issue is with your browser, if reinstalling it haven't made any difference than you should try it with different browser. I am using google chrome and everything is working like normal. You should also try it.. Also i need to enter captcha once in 10 mins when i reload page.
I think this was added by poloniex for extra security against DDOS attack and everybody have to enter that captcha.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we do Bitcoin transactions at this moment?
|
on: July 23, 2017, 06:29:12 PM
|
I have just done few bitcoin transactions today without any issue but block are being mined slowly right now and difference between two blocks is more than 20 minutes right now so we might have to wait for atleast 2 hours to get required 5 confirmation to consider it as safe. However we can wait for few more days till all things will settle down and segwit will be activated without problem.

Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin currently massively undervalued?
|
on: July 23, 2017, 05:30:47 PM

When segwit2x will be activated than bitcoin will reach to value it should be which I think is more than $5000 per bitcoin. All those debate about block size and network clogging will be over when block size and its capacity will increase with segwit2x. More over we will have lightening network after segwit that will make it possible to make instant payments with bitcoin that might push price to above $10k. So yes bitcoin is undervalued right now.

Nobody can tell what will happen to price on 1st august but on long term you can be sure that price of bitcoin will rise. So just invest what you can afford right now and don't keep thinking about it looking at $100-200 dump/pump. That is just a normal market swing, just don't sell your bitcoin for loss after you buy it.

You can send a support ticket to bittrex if you don't want to wait for 1 week in delima. Like most of member have told you, I am also quite sure that they will credit your bitcoin when they will re-enable their bitcoin wallet.

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think?

on: July 23, 2017, 03:21:37 PM

I think all richest people in the world always search ways to make money. BTC are very useful to make money but they aren' t for lazy people. Btc are for people who love to start something from zero, and i am one of them.
Start something from zero? without initial investment you can't earn anything out of bitcoin. You have to be either investors or crypto trader to earn good profit out of bitcoin/crypto and for both of this you need some cash in hand to make initial investment.

What can you say about that? Will it go down again or will it continue to rise?
If everything goes well after segwit activation on early august price can easily get over $3000 but you can expect some correction if there will be hardfork on 1st august. But in overall bitcoin price will just go upwards for sure.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How sustainable is bitcoin?
|
on: July 22, 2017, 08:38:55 PM

Hello,
So if I'm to understand this correctly, difficulty is getting harder right? so what if it gets to a point where its just extremely hard to mine and supply gets so tightened that regular users are out of game altogether from mining.
Now -it can only be purchased and very limited quantity? won't that end up becoming same like fiat money? few control the interests of others?
Rich getting richer ? I understand the concept of sharks eating small fish and what not -I also understand that recession and progression are part of business cycle but computing isn't going ahead at a pace where we can continue to mine -so what's the path? just collect and that's it?
TIA
Difficulty will only increase when there will be more miners, if supply will be really low than price of bitcoin will grow exponentially to cover all the mining cost + some profit for miners while all bitcoin investors will enjoy price ride. You can even purchase 1 satoshi because even 1 satoshi is transferable in bitcoin. Some of the poor early investors are now rich and might be some more people who have invested in bitcoin right now will also become millionaire by next 10 years.

I'm having trouble finding bitcoin to buy with a 1:1 ratio or with really minor fees. Does anyone know any sites where I can purchase 1:1 bitcoin or know any renowned 1:1 sellers you can put me in contact with?
You have to buy bitcoin from exchange platforms directly but you have to be from any of the country they will take deposit from. Kraken, bitstamp and coinbase are few of such exchanges where you can buy at market price. There are also some alternatives where you can buy bitcoin with perfectmoney or okpay for example yobit.net, changer.com and livecoin.net

|
on: July 22, 2017, 07:24:10 PM

Anyone here experienced to buy bitcoin using their PayPal.? How much the fees?
You can't buy bitcoin directly with paypal because it is against their TOS. Paypal is reversible method so you might have to pay a lot more than market price when buying from local guy or person over localbitcoins and paxful. You might end up paying over 20% in fees ...

Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally legal in India
|
on: July 22, 2017, 06:32:55 PM
|
When people are busy discussing about the bitcoin legality I think it is not really needed, because after bitcoin is considered legal, it seems to be difficult, maybe if bitcoin is legal we also the bitcoin users will be in taxes for its use,Therefore I think better bitcoin not in legalkan
If you can make bitcoin transactions anonymously than you don't have to pay any taxes even if government legalizes the bitcoin. You should buy/sell bitcoins with local guys rather than using registered bitcoin exchange platform which will share all your exchange details with government and you will be forced to pay taxes on whatever you will earn from bitcoin trading.

There is no doubt that price of bitcoin will reach well above $3k within end of july and even it can go to $3500 for short term. The one who have bought bitcoin during bloodbath at below $2k are now happy investors and the one who have sold low are now buying at higher price. LOL
