1  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: DONOR THREAD for #OccupyWallStreet Bitcoin Promotion on: October 17, 2011, 10:12:40 AM
Wow if I knew 100+ btc could be raised off of ~3 hrs of web development I wouldn't have bought all that mining hardware. If bitcoin is so great why can't you tell me yourself? Instead I have to go on an easter egg hunt, visiting other websites to learn. You don't even make an ATTEMPT to sell it(like for instance tell me how many people are already using it). I know you're trying to keep it simple but if I knew nothing about bitcoin I would probably dismiss it as another Nigerian scam site, with the rushed design and half-assed descriptions. Its a site that creates more questions than answers. Just my opinion though. Best of luck.

Where is the typeo?

You might want to spend a little more time on that card, maybe fix the typo too. Maybe not make it a card at all. I'd laugh if someone offered me "digital cash" via a card like that.

Only thing I really have is that virtual marketplace idea
Since you are unable to do basic math and code, let alone afford coders, inventory, and advertizing, what you should focus on is something completely different.

You kidding me? lol, I hate the public.
One more reason this type of work isn't for you.

What should I focus on then?
Perhaps you could focus on your education as well as doing everything you can to keep the part time job you were lucky enough to get.

After saying you had an idea for me? Not nice.
Oh, and you never replied to my question.
I just wanted you to unlock your topic so I could respond to you. I took the time to register and get whitelisted for that sole purpose.

Are you troll-king of bitcoin or just retarded?

I was wondering the same thing...

I'm trying to see the positive critisizm in all of this but there just isn't any.
I honestly can't believe how much positive criticism you received.

As for the community making you fail, what actually failed? From what I saw your website was nothing more than an untitled Zen Cart. You had nothing to begin with. Reminds me of this:

You're not out of a vehicle. You never had one to begin with.

I use them to buy Pokemon cards

I had some luck with paypal rebuking some one of my customer's "unauthorized charge" attempts. I had someone buy around $750 worth of BTC over the span of two months. One day I logged in and there were 60+ unauthorized charges from this person. I didn't refund the money, instead I waited so that paypal would have to review it. Turns out he was using his own account and marked all the charges as unauthorized, though paypal determined that the charges were legitimate and that no suspicious activity happened on his account. I was rather surprised. I'm not sure if it helped but my account is 9 years old, good standing, and a premium/business account.

At any rate, I'd like to get whitelisted if anyone can do so  Undecided

I've been mining for a couple months, I've been reading these forums for quite some time also. I found a topic I wanted to respond to so I registered an account. I don't wish to create superfluous posts just to have access. Please whitelist me.  Undecided

This shit is fucking stupid. I've spent weeks on this forum and now have a serious question about mining and can't post in the mining section. At first I thought it was related to the hack or something but I noticed that everyone else can post but I can't.

So if anyone can answer my mining question: I have a 6970 mining at 328MHashes/s I'm using guiminer on Windows 7 with the flags -v -w 128 -f 30. How can I increase my mining speed since the bitcoin hardware comparison website said you can get around 385 out of it. Also, if I decide to buy another GPU, to put on the second PCIe slot, does it have to be the same card and manufacturer? Would really appreciate the help.
How to increase the mining speed? You can overclock it.
