Hi guys, I would like to ask you, what are the best wallet for receiving BTG or support BTG?
And is BTG is just like an airdrop that will come to you when you have BTC?
As Far i read here, they said that if you spend Bitcoin Gold it will also deduct on your Bitcoin wallet, I hope someone can enlighten me , It's my plan to spent my bitcoin gold to buy bitcoins. Please someone enlighten me. Thats not true, they are working on replay protection as we speak so these things won't happen. If you are worried, you can always send your BTC to another adress, and use your private keys from the now emptied wallet adress to receive your BTCG. Good luck |

There aren't any offical wallets released yet.
If you have ownership of your private keys, then you are good to go. EX electrum wallet is fine!

BTCG has a promsing future in my opinion.
Its more decentralized then Bitcoin Core, with using the equihash algo.
The common miners with their GPU are taking back control.
Not with BTC who's been monopolyzed by ASIC farms.
So i actually like BTCG.

Not really a clone, they will be using a different algo, equihash, just like Zcash.
So Bitcoin Gold will be even more decentralised, as in the common people will be able to mine with their GPU's again, so it won't be controlled by the mining farms (asics) like with Bitcoin Core.

Ik vind het idee dat BTCG nog meer gedecentraliseerd wordt dan BTC Core wel goed. Aangezien ze de Equihash algoritme gaan gebruiken, waardoor je als gewone burger terug met je GPU, BTCG kan minen. En alles niet in handen valt van de miningfarms (ASICS)
Welke exchanges BTCG gaan listen is nog niet bekendgemaakt, 2 hebben tot nu toe al bevestigd pas.

Even tho i don't like Bitcoin forking, i do think Bitcoin Gold is even more decentralised then Bitcoin Core, being it GPU friendly.
