1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining behind a firewall? on: February 11, 2015, 03:59:14 PM
I think it might work through port 80, which pools have that option?

Is it somehow possible to mine through port:80 (because of a firewall)?

Is it possible to mine behind a network firewall?

Would like to try solo mining some altcoins and mining in multialgo pools,
but usual mining ports are restricted on the network.

What are the options in such a situation?

Spreadminer 5 beta is sendt to the betatesters. Faster hash, and less bugs hopefully.

(solo mine spreadcoin)

Is it also compute 5.0-5.2 only?

yeah. It might work on compute 3.5 though..

Use this version (1.5.2-git)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=770064.0

it works.
yes, it works. Good in "fresh".
Strange but for "quark" on compute 3.0 original ccminer 1.2 is the best, just for fun Wink

ccminer-rel1.5.2-cuda7-x86 is somewhat slower than ccminer-rel1.5.1-vc2013-x86 on both gtx660 and K4000, except for lyra2 and fresh, where it is the same.

I still don't understand how and why K4000 gets less hashrates than gtx660.  Huh

For the original ccminer 1.2, Nod32 reports it is a "Win32/CoinMiner.TD trojan", so I haven't tried that.

Is there an optimized miner for Nvidia Quadro series, especially for K4000?

Tried ccminer-1.5.1 and getting significantly less hashrates than with GTX660.  Undecided
