What is the safest way to buy things on this forum. Send half payment before receipt and half after? What do people expect? What is smart?

I've been on here all night. I would like to purchase things from members in the market, but I can't post anywhere besides here. I understand the rules, but can someone please release me from the newbie bin.

Is the custom cooler necessary or could you do without it. Anything to make it a standard setup. This isn't any reason to be too proud to use a ton of box fans... if they die they are cheap and you can just flip em out.

Trust is very important! I respect your ability to put your own coins out there to prove you can hold other's coins. Solid rep on this guy!

Bit pool is where it is at. Better to do it in a group vs going dumb luck method in my opinion.

To create a new business you must find a market inefficiency and correct it. You will then be rewarded with profits. I do not see an inefficiency with bit coins in this aspect. Using it as a rival auction currency would rival Paypal and eBay... connecting bitcoins to another type of currency for backing would be wise, but it would also require political structure across the globe.
16  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to buy my first bitcoins! on: October 01, 2011, 06:20:35 AM
You can also buy them through ebay. Some people put them up for much less than market value. Make sure to check market value first!

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 5970 for 400$ NEW AT NEWEGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: October 01, 2011, 06:16:06 AM
They limit you to 4 cards on Newegg Sad Guess I'll have to open 3 more accounts Smiley
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sapphire 5830 Xtreme for sale for BTC on: October 01, 2011, 06:12:25 AM
I guess it would be worth about 75 bucks USD. I'll second the offer for 15 if you didn't sell yet.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much do you have invested in bitcoins? on: October 01, 2011, 06:11:04 AM
I'm currently trying to figure out how much I feel comfortable investing. I know the difficulty will continue to climb and the value of a block will drop from 50 to 25 coins eventually... hopefully the bubble won't burst soon!
