First of all, You'll want to get a breadboard, and learn how to use it: http://www.sparkfun.com/tutorials/209
Then, to get started with microcontrollers, arduino is a good place to start: http://www.sparkfun.com/products/9950
Search "Beginner electronics tutorial" or "arduino tutorial" on google, and you should find all you need there. It may be a little confusing at first, but it's a good hobby to get into! Everything you need to get started can be bought on sparkfun. And I think I saw someone was selling sparkfun stuff for bitcoins... Where was that again?

Would anyone still pay to see someone do something along these lines? Because I'll do it as a star wars storm trooper, and have a friend take a video.

I have an uncountable number of 1990's computer games! However, most of them do not have their original packaging, if even the CD case. A lot of them are also old grade school education games, like jumpstart type stuff. But, I do have others too.

Thanks biddingpond, I just shipped it today, so It should get to you soon, but it's US Ground Mail, so it might take a while since I live all the way in California.

Are there just not enough electronics/robotics nerds on this forum? Or do you guys have doubts or concerns? If so, please post them here, and I'll do whatever I can to make it more comfortable. I know I don't have a reputation on this forum yet, but I'm currently shipping an msp430 launchpad to the user biddingpond.com, and I'm sure that once he gets it, he can confirm that I'm trustworthy. Even if you're not interested in my offer, I would like to hear what you would be skeptical about if you were planning on buying.

I've got a Sparkfun Electronics Gift Certificate, but they are not transferable, so I can't actually sell it to you. What I can do is have something from sparkfun.com shipped to your address for Bitcoins. The gift certificate is worth 50 USD, and I'll ship things to your address for 1BTC/USD spent. You must pay for shipping (4.24 USD on sparkfun, so 4.24 BTC please) as well. Any one been eye-ing anything on Sparkfun lately?

I already have 2 of them at my house that were ordered a long time ago. I can get them to you quicker, since they take months to ship from TI. One of them already has the female headers soldered on. Does that matter to you? The other one is still in the condition it came. PM me for more information.

I know that the website there isn't really a work of art, but I just made all of it late at night when I was tired. New website will be up soon. Also, I'm looking for a better way of exchanging Bitcoins. Right now, if I were to get a customer, they have to put a lot of trust into me that I will actually give them their website. Suggestions?
