We all know that martingale is not actually a strategy that really works, in fact it is actually a trap on how to run out of funds in no time. I called it. I knew it won't be an easy game for Arsenal, they were the favourite but should be lucky to earn even that 1 point. The major credit for that goes to Arsenal's goalkeeper, Raya who made a fantastic double save of Retegui's penalty. I got very bored while watching the Manchester City - Inter match truthfully. Not even watching a goal was very disappointing.  Inter have such a strong defense that they just don't concede a goal. I was expecting Haaland to be ineffective in this match. I'm not gonna lie about it.  Because he is just disappearing in big matches. This wasn't the performance of a top contender in a competition like the Champions League. Manchester City really need to get better. I know it is early of course but it is better to take precautions in time. They have 2-3 more fierce opponents to face in this phase such as Juventus, PSG and maybe more as far as I can remember. Haaland was always shining when City faced a weak opponent. But this is kinda different once they have a strong club as their opponent, such as Inter milan. Inter Milan has figured out how to stop Haaland. Two defenders were always marking him. His teammates were unable to feed him. He rarely got a good chance in this game. It's hard for him to find free space when their opponent knew very well about the way he moved. There isn't a solution, but he can create free space for his teammates to shoot. And i think a draw isn’t a bad result for City, considering Inter was their toughest opponent in the group stage. Barcelona losing out on Olmo for a month is definitely a huge deal for them, just as they were getting acquinted for a while, they lost him and that's not really good and usually it takes a while for players to have a return as well, it is not easy for players to just come back and be great that easily, which means that he will be out for a month, and then another month he will take it easy, like come off from bench at first, and then play 60-65 minutes when he starts etc, so it will take more than two months for him to be able to play 90+ minutes and that's always a bad thing for a team to miss a player like that.
The best thing to do would be just focusing on what they can do with the players they have and just keep working on making what they have work.
