243  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you know how much time it takes to withdraw from mtgox to a bank account ? on: May 06, 2013, 06:23:57 PM
Depends on the country, as far as I know there were some issues regarding their EU account but this could have been resolved by now,

it was said on an announcement that if you are trying to withdraw via SEPA it is much slower process than International wire transfers,

248  Economy / Speculation / Re: wth is the market going to do this week on: April 29, 2013, 04:40:16 AM
for you technical folk it looks like if we have more upward movement we will have a cross in the 50 and 200 exponential moving averages, which is an insanely huge bull sign, but ive always been bull since I got into bitcoin so im biased
249  Economy / Speculation / Re: are bitcons getting old? THE STATE OF BITCOINS. on: April 28, 2013, 10:14:22 PM
there are millionaires being made with bitcoin absolutely not, as someone who has been doing exactly that for longer than 1 year I can say that nothing will ever make me as much money as bitcoin did and im well aware of that,
250  Economy / Speculation / Re: are bitcons getting old? THE STATE OF BITCOINS. on: April 28, 2013, 09:59:00 PM
Ya bitcoins is old already.... considering that you can probably still go out in the real world and only get maybe at best 4/10 people who might have heard of it, let alone know how to use it or did their research on it,

like nameless the amount of money some of these businesses are making due to bitcoin are unmatched, not only that nothing will make them as much money as their current lucrative business because of bitcoin,

fundamentals are always going to be the same in bitcoin which is that we have a limited number of coins in the end with an undetermined marketcap its like having shares in a company except in this case bitcoin is the company and we have so many hands working towards its success

Amagi metals reports like 3 quarter million since the acceptance of bitcoin and MTGox is on the fast-track to being billionaires if not already,

bitcoin is not old at all its not even known about yet
251  Economy / Speculation / Re: does price manipulation break standard methods of TA? on: April 28, 2013, 07:25:59 PM
TA probably works on real world markets, bitcoin is an experiment hence why I think TA doesnt apply here

nothing TA has ever seen can compare itself to bitcoin, its innovative, new, and it works

I use charts everyday with my trading but if you have to ask me what has made me more money in the long run, Fundamentals hands down

you know who is rich off TA? ask S3032 dudes probably made a good bit selling his information like all good tech analysts should be doing
252  Economy / Speculation / Re: does price manipulation break standard methods of TA? on: April 28, 2013, 07:11:20 PM
You probably dont understand alot of things,

the person probably doesnt hold any bitcoins considering they are talking about how they cant stand market manipulation

you told him to move his coins off gox because he said that inevitably they will allow shorting (I agree that gox will allow shorting not to your dumb comment) what would moving his coins have to do with anything? which was the advice you told him

now you are speaking of fundamental value when I said nothing about this,
253  Economy / Speculation / Re: does price manipulation break standard methods of TA? on: April 28, 2013, 07:01:05 PM
Perhaps the game was not meant for you

it is Kill or be killed in this world and unless you are hungrier and more soul-less than the guy next to you your going to lose

we do not live in a communist country where we share everything sorry to say. (not that sorry though because communism is barbaric and holds back innovation)

and to comment above

what would that have to do with anything? the price does not move only on your action there are others in this market as well
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: In the long run, bitcoin will be worth $0. on: April 28, 2013, 05:24:37 PM
while another competitor could arise it would take time for it to become competition, everyday that bitcoin lives is another day people trust it more

I honestly trust bitcoin more than banks or anything else mainly for the fact that I control the value of my wealth on paper, im well diversified in assets only and have only safety money in the bank and it would take serious trust for me to move my assets somewhere else

BTC is pretty safe from the time length it has been out (as an investment and store of wealth) and it has made many of those who have believed in it from the getco richer than imagined,

BTC was also someones baby, prior to it being released to the world it was well thought and perfected, look how far it has come, Seriously this is just the beginning

as someone who holds a big number of coins ill also say that it being worth 0 is going to take a long time to happen frankly because it would take me forever to liquidate my coins and there are those who have more than I do so they are in the same boat, not only that people who are wealthier than I want hordes of bitcoin and they cant have it, now why would I want to ditch something when someone who is richer than me wants it?

255  Economy / Speculation / Re: does price manipulation break standard methods of TA? on: April 28, 2013, 04:50:35 PM
Isnt the answer obviously yes? no amount of TA will work if someone just decides to either buy or sell massive at random

I find these threads funny because a person who uses TA as a main trading strategy  reminds me of the MANY threads I see on poker sites about people asking why they arent winning players, or that they are on Awful downswings

let me guess on why you made this thread, do you make alot more wrong decisions than correct ones? because that is going to happen when you trade basically ALL the time, I make no trades and I made my bitfortune from pennys to a massive amount now and did this without any hassle of daytrading

daytrading is synonymous with gambling hence why you have threads like this asking questions on if TA works or not,
it is NOT an easy life being a day trader because you are going to be wrong probably WAY more than your going to be right, the main idea is to minimize when you lose and maximize when you gain (obviously)

hence why TA can eat crap and why I dont bother,
256  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Volatility Reduction Group (Market Makers) on: April 27, 2013, 10:52:17 PM
There are often pretty large walls that gets removed just before the dumping starts.

Why do you think this is? the wall cant be there if the person is deciding to just sell if the coins are available, unless there is another hand with equal amounts of coins there is a reason the wall goes before the price starts going down, conversely if you see a bid "wall" and it gets removed the price moves upward unless someone else with an equal or more number of coin decide to buy before them,

derp derp

If an investor has a very large stash, he/they can put up a buy-wall to push the prices up. If needed the same investor can do many small buy-orders. As prices move upwards the buy-wall are also moved upwards to give buyers confidence to buy at higher prices. When there are enough buy-orders above a certain point, the wall is removed and a large sell-order is submitted.

Rinse and repeat.

PS: It's called pump and dump

Derp derp.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH right your so smart guy you got me, WOW just WOW

thats exactly it,

have to love btc Smiley

this is why day traders get slaughtered, always have and always will be best to hold long bitcoin because the bitcoin epidemic has just begun

people panic selling because they see walls on clarkmoody of insignificant size <1000 and thats enough?

when will everyone learn that its not about what you see its about what you dont see,

someone is laughing and tuesday is coming

I apologize if this is a FAQ ...

Can you please summarize your reporting policies with regard to customer information and identity? Specifically, what customer information do you report and to which agencies?

What are your record keeping policies?

Are there plans to changes these policies in the future? If so, what are the changes?

I value my anonymity and I am paranoid perhaps about a government crackdown.

What kind of questions are these? is your money coming from questionable sources? its not FC4B's job to do your taxes that is your duty as an american citizen,

only cash deposits of 10,000 and over are sent directly to the IRS as suspicious activity, wire transfers can be done in excess of 100ks without notice of the IRS its your job to get an accountant and pay taxes or you will be who the IRS is looking for,

just pay taxes its simple as that you dont even need to do it yourself
