I'm going to be continually adding things to this thread today as I clean stuff. ASUS Motherboard - P5ND2-SLI - 3 BTC Shipped This a dual-video card ready motherboard that takes Intel processors. I was not able to get this motherboard to turn on. I'm not sure if it was the motherboard, the power supply I was using, or the CPU I was using, so I'm selling it as broken.

The changes look great! One initial observation is that I don't see a place where I can see my deposit address any more. If this is coming, ignore me. If you addressed this previously, slap me It should be in the note you took when he set up your account. Why would I take a note when it's right on the site?

I personally don't want RealSolid to be the lead developer of SolidCoin. I strongly disagree with the actions taken to inflate the value of SolidCoin and feel its value is merely artificial right now.

I don't know the technical aspects of this, but I assume since Folding@Home and things like SETI award organizations "points" for their work that it is similar to a "proof of work" system. Is it possible to merge the two tasks in a future coin? I would feel so much better flushing electricity down the toilet mining a cryptocurrency if I were also helping to solve scientific-related medical issues (probably not so much in finding aliens).
This is all speculation. Let me know what you think?
This has actually been proposed several times, unfortunately currently it seems in feasible with very little idea how to do this. I for one would love it because I dedicate more resources to folding@home than crypto since I feel it has a greater direct benefit to humanity today and the thought of doing both simultaneously would be amazing. Here's hoping that someone could make a Satoshi level breakthrough in technology to make this happen one day in the not too distant future! I would imagine it would have to be done from the organization that offered distributed-computing, like they could distribute a cryptocurrency coin instead of the points they do now. Maybe it's simpler than we think.

This is turning out to be quite interesting.First GPU mining possible with LTC,now microsoft running an LTC node.LTC is certainly becoming an interesting currency for me.I want to know how to check this is cmd prompt in win 7 to see if my LTC connects to microsoft.
Sounds like that employee is mining for LTC as well.
It's a command line utility called "netstat". It shows the various connections you have with their port numbers. -n is probably the switch he used.
