202  Economy / Economics / Re: Where do you spend your money from Bitcoin? on: December 29, 2017, 04:05:31 AM
Today's economy is either rising or falling depending on the consumers and sellers. If you join the Bitcoin, there is a high probability that you will gain something from your money because there are a lot of opportunities here. So my question is, "Where do you usually spend your money that you have gained here in Bitcoin?"
Half of my gains will be saved since i dont fancy anything yet at the moment but i save really as an emergency fund. Half will be spent from usual stuff, pay our bills and for daily expenses.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: December 29, 2017, 03:53:22 AM
I am asking this just to see the different opinions of Bitcoin community about its long term potential

I know Bitcoin is actually strong enough and stable as well

But what do you think about it after 100 years ?
Maybe it is or maybe it is not. If it actually survive the question is will humankind still exists since the threat of world war 3 is looming around? Are we as an individual will still be alive to enjoy the profits and gains of bitcoin? I say that we treat bitcoin in a daily basis, save what we profit from it and let it be enjoyed by the next generation.
204  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice on trading on: December 27, 2017, 04:23:42 AM
hello!

i have learned the basics of what are cryptocurrencies and now i wonder how to begin trading to multiply my money. do you have any favorite sites on where you trade? which advice would you have for a beginner like me?
There is more to cryptos than just the basic ones. The easy things for experts may be very complicated to a beginner like yourself so i suggest before you go and look for trading platforms you must do a lot of work before you engage in trading.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade with BTC? on: December 27, 2017, 04:18:37 AM
We hear in the news that many people in countries that have currency issues are starting to trade in BTC - for example, Venezula.

My friend asked me what about in regions where they lose electricity, how would they trade with BTC?

For example Puerto Rico is right now devastated by the hurricane, and many parts of its region don't have electricity.  A lot of people need to buy food and even fresh water.

Is there a way to still trade with BTC in such situations?

Can P2P trade still occur despite having any connection to the greater block-chain network?  Keep in mind that it's easy to charge mobile phone so they have access to wallet apps, but probably not the Internet.

I don't know too much about mobile data networks, but I doubt one's 4G/LTE data plan would work in such situations.  I assume that data would have to be relayed to a tower/dish before it's sent to satellites.  Am I correct?

PC's and phones are needs electricity to work and so thus the companies that provide you internet is runned by electricity therefore you cannot do trading.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: December 27, 2017, 04:13:04 AM
Savings in banks Deposits in banks Property investments, such as buying property (land and buildings) are then leased or resold after some time later. Gold investment, such as buying gold and then stored for the long term. May be useful in the long run. and produce a decent and satisfactory. or farming to buy sawan and gardening and planting fruits and vegetables is a very good investment. Although a little vulnerable to failure but it could not hurt to try.
We really cant tell what the future of bitcoin has to offer us but a good way to invest though. I say you invest on bitcoin hold it for a while then sell if the prices goes up then repeat the process again. As long as you are gaining profits then it is good enough already.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: Time is money, how you manage your money and time ? on: December 26, 2017, 03:26:27 AM
Just imagine, how precious is the time for your life? What a valuable time for your financial development. You have the possibility to become a rich person if you try to manage time in a very efficient way. An hour for you could be equal to one month for others. When you waste an hour, you're wasting a month's time for someone else. Therefore, arrange yourself in such a way that can really take advantage of time well.

The quality of time you have will elevate you to better financial condition. If you value time, then time will also appreciate you. Therefore, the English proverb says "Time is money", which means time is money. Pepeatah has a tremendous meaning, which will change your life for the better. The price of your time is the same as the price of money yo
One thing ive learned in this life, never spent money and time on useless and unproductive things. But to say that price of time is the same as price of money, i think not. Time to me is priceless. The time you spent can never be brought back but the money you spent can.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we explain that the bitcoins is not a scam on: December 26, 2017, 03:17:31 AM
Only yesterday's television shows here in our country could be a bad thing when you get involved with bitcoins. I'm so frustrated that the tv host has shown that bitcoins are a scam. Because of the fact that he has made many people will definitely not try to enter the bitcoins yet. And because that would be like an investment scheme that looks at bitcoins. That's not really true because bitcoins used to do bad things. And what I was most disappointed was that this tv host did not say the good side of bitcoins.

Now my question is how we can explain to those who watch tv that bitcoins is not a pyramiding scheme.
You dont need to explain and persuade that bitcoin is for real, as long as you and most of the bitcoiners are gaining and profiting from it then it is good enough. Besides if you succeed and be rich with bitcoin someday then that is enough explaining already.
209  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: December 25, 2017, 04:00:31 AM
It is already a international currency as majority of people across the globe are using it, the only thing we need is that it should hit the mainstream to get more popular in future.
i think so. But some country not accept bitcoin, so what will we do to some country like that?
There is nothing you can do as an individual if a certain country does not accept bitcoin. Some countries prohibits it because they to them it may impose a threat to their economy.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goverments to go AGAINST Bitcoin on: December 25, 2017, 03:44:20 AM
Is there any chance goverments to go against bitcoin if they see its something against them??
Some government may go against it if they see a threat in their economy. In my country the Philippines, our government has made an initiative through the Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas to regulate bitcoins.
211  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: December 24, 2017, 04:39:13 AM
"Japan: No Bitcoin Tax, Thousands of Stores to Accept the Cryptocurrency"

article published July, 5, 2017
https://edgylabs.com/2017/07/05/japan-no-bitcoin-tax-stores-accept-cryptocurrency/

"AirRegi is a widely used, tablet-based point-of-sale app in Japan. Currently, around 260,000 establishments, stores, and commercial facilities use this proprietary app to accept payments from their clients."

It makes sense that a transition to accept bitcoin would be underway for more US-based stores.
If all countries around the world is as rich and as modern as Japan then maybe majority of retailers have already accepted bitcoin. Accessibility is a big problem with bitcoin. A lot of small businesses in underdeveloped countries does not have the technology to engage with bitcoin.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to invest in bitcoin? on: December 24, 2017, 04:05:12 AM
We need to invest in bitcoin for us to make a growing profit if we do not invest our money will just be stagnant it won't grow as soon as bitcoin is concern so many benefit that we can get by investing those money yet you must be a wise people when you're investing because there are plenty of people who do scam just to earn. And bitcoin is an easy money method for you to know and a life changer also.
The thread sounded like investing into bitcoin as a daily necessity to me. I think that it is not a "need" but a good option for investment because of its profitability and its future is very promising.
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading or working in signature campaigns? on: December 23, 2017, 05:46:51 AM
What do you think should be done?
These days bitcoins are not given directly in campaign but tokens are given and very less campaign give bitcoins purely.
What would you do?campaign or trading?
Since trading is a lot way more complicated than campaigns, for beginners i would say campaign. Anybody can gain experience and knowledge about the basics of trading in signature campaigns thru informations shared by experts.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's price is getting low on: December 23, 2017, 05:28:12 AM
This week, bitcoin's price gets low. Based on the article that i read, it says thats they cant trace the reason why its getting low. They said it might be because some used to hack and mine bitcoins. They also said that maybe it was because there are new cryptos.
What do you think is the main reason? Do you think its price will still rise?
I think the christmas season is the reason why bitcoins prices went down. Maybe bitcoiners cashes out some of their holdings thus supplies flows in but demand is minimal.
215  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your best investment strategy? on: December 22, 2017, 04:15:33 AM
The crypto world can become unpredictable sometimes, making our choices of investing into it, a very limited one. From scams to ponzis, there have been many losses from investors, yet making it very difficult to find a reliable investment.

But on the bright side, you could still invest into assets and commodities with your crypto like Gold and Silver. Then, if done right you could profit along the way with a good strategy.

As for me, I only decide to invest into gold (by exchanging BTC to Gold) and into some NXT and BURST assets.

What would be your investment strategy? Please share your tips, advice, or any good strategy you would use to safeguard your crypto investments.  Smiley
Havent done investing actually but i am thinking and planning to buy when prices are low, hold it for a while then sell it if prices go up. Repeat the process again and again. As long as cash is flowing in whether it may be minimal or not it is fine with me.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your house for investment in btc. on: December 22, 2017, 04:03:07 AM

and after just 2 months sell 43BTC for $498198.

Again buying the previous also you will be in profit of $472298.

Too much risk is at stake here. Better if you get a loan from a bank and use your house as a collateral so that if you you fail in your investment you will still have a chance to recover unlike if you sell and invest and the result is a loss then you will loose everything.
217  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: December 21, 2017, 04:08:55 AM
Let's see the LakeBTC's graceful charts, during this period when drop $2 per rise $1  Angry

How do you keep the profit? If cant, how do you stop loss? please share your strategy with me, thanks!

Charts are only visual representation of what has occurred in the market. If you really are into trading then better you focus most of your time and do day trading. Know when to buy, to hold and to sell.
218  Economy / Economics / Re: Electronic Money vs. Physical Money on: December 21, 2017, 03:46:02 AM
Hi guys, I just want to know your views and opinion about the difference in Electronic Money (Bitcoin and others) and the Physical Money. Many people now a days are still confuse about the existence of the Bitcoin and how it differ from our Physical Money that we are using to buy necessity. I hope we could share and learn from each other.  Wink Smiley
Talk about the tangible and the intangible. The biggest difference really is its acceptance by the general public. Real money or fiats can be used by all and to all businesses no matter how big or small it maybe while on the other hand, you can only transact using bitcoins or other cryptos from individuals or institutions that accept cryptos.
219  Other / Off-topic / Re: Aliens exist after all? on: December 20, 2017, 07:06:53 AM
Found the below artcle on Nytimes...

Is the Government finally softening its stance on UFO's matters or just revealing the truth in preparation for something big?
Wonder what Wikipedia ufo writers have to say about this as they are notorious for spreading shocking articles where they outrightly denied the existence of UFOs, ghosts or other paranormal stuff without proofs. It's like telling a hunter that fire flies don't exist.
I stopped trusting the site for important info two years ago though.

Humanity however needs to be careful with these beings (I guess they exist now?). They MAY be totally evil.
A responsible government must seek the opinion of all, like the theologians, religious men, scientists, to avoid making a costly

Quote
In $600 billion annual Defense Department budgets, the $22 million spent on the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program was almost impossible to find.
Which was how the Pentagon wanted it.
For years, the program investigated reports of unidentified flying objects, according to Defense Department officials, interviews with program participants and records obtained by The New York Times. It was run by a military intelligence official, Luis Elizondo, on the fifth floor of the Pentagon’s C Ring, deep within the building’s maze.
The Defense Department has never before acknowledged the existence of the program, which it says it shut down in 2012. But its backers say that, while the Pentagon ended funding for the effort at that time, the program remains in existence. For the past five years, they say, officials with the program have continued to investigate episodes brought to them by service members, while also carrying out their other Defense Department duties.
The shadowy program — parts of it remain classified — began in 2007, and initially it was largely funded at the request of Harry Reid, the Nevada Democrat who was the Senate majority leader at the time and who has long had an interest in space phenomena. Most of the money went to an aerospace research company run by a billionaire entrepreneur and longtime friend of Mr. Reid’s, Robert Bigelow, who is currently working with NASA to produce expandable craft for humans to use in space.
On CBS’s “60 Minutes” in May, Mr. Bigelow said he was “absolutely convinced” that aliens exist and that U.F.O.s have visited Earth.
Working with Mr. Bigelow’s Las Vegas-based company, the program produced documents that describe sightings of aircraft that seemed to move at very high velocities with no visible signs of propulsion, or that hovered with no apparent means of lift.
Officials with the program have also studied videos of encounters between unknown objects and American military aircraft — including one released in August of a whitish oval object, about the size of a commercial plane, chased by two Navy F/A-18F fighter jets from the aircraft carrier Nimitz off the coast of San Diego in 2004.
Mr. Reid, who retired from Congress this year, said he was proud of the program. “I’m not embarrassed or ashamed or sorry I got this thing going,” Mr. Reid said in a recent interview in Nevada. “I think it’s one of the good things I did in my congressional service. I’ve done something that no one has done before.”
Two other former senators and top members of a defense spending subcommittee — Ted Stevens, an Alaska Republican, and Daniel K. Inouye, a Hawaii Democrat — also supported the program. Mr. Stevens died in 2010, and Mr. Inouye in 2012.
While not addressing the merits of the program, Sara Seager, an astrophysicist at M.I.T., cautioned that not knowing the origin of an object does not mean that it is from another planet or galaxy. “When people claim to observe truly unusual phenomena, sometimes it’s worth investigating seriously,” she said. But, she added, “what people sometimes don’t get about science is that we often have phenomena that remain unexplained.”
James E. Oberg, a former NASA space shuttle engineer and the author of 10 books on spaceflight who often debunks U.F.O. sightings, was also doubtful. “There are plenty of prosaic events and human perceptual traits that can account for these stories,” Mr. Oberg said. “Lots of people are active in the air and don’t want others to know about it. They are happy to lurk unrecognized in the noise, or even to stir it up as camouflage.”
Still, Mr. Oberg said he welcomed research. “There could well be a pearl there,” he said.
In response to questions from The Times, Pentagon officials this month acknowledged the existence of the program, which began as part of the Defense Intelligence Agency. Officials insisted that the effort had ended after five years, in 2012.

The universe is a vast unexplored space. No body really is sure what lays and lives outside our own galaxy. One thing is for sure, governments can no longer deny the fact that aliens exist because of numerous sightings and hard evidences. Maybe they keep on denying their existence because they dont want the public to panic.
220  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fastfood can potentially Kill Us! on: December 20, 2017, 06:42:23 AM
We all know that fast food is addictive even though we know that it may potentially harm our body. Most of us just don't care about its negative impact on our health, all we care about is eating what is delicious that's why there are many people who are obese and is struggling with their health conditions. There are two potential threats to a person eating fast food every single day, and that is Diabetes and Heart disease. In the US according to Mary Kekatos from Dailymail, half of all deaths due to heart disease and diabetes are caused by a poor diet, which consists of heavy intake of sodium and unprocessed meats.

Why do You think people still eat these foods everyday? What can You suggest them to do to quit this addiction to fast food? Are You one of those people who are always eating fast food?
Lots of people nowadays are living in the fast lane. They are busy enough that they cant even prepare a decent meal for themselves that is why they resort to fast foods and not minding what dangers it would cause them to their health.
