bad cold sucks but is really no big deal
bad flu can kill you

Caught the flu twice in December. Developed into a nasty dry cough towards the end of fighting off the second flu. Never felt worse in my life before. Doctor diagnosed me with "Post Viral Fatigue Syndrome" and the lung x-rays results showed signs of mild bronchitis.

This sounds like the same flu that swept the southern hemisphere last winter ... the nasty dry cough will linger for weeks and relapse flu bouts for 2, 3 or even 4 relapses about 2-3 weeks apart.

Also watch out for people with heart conditions, the virus appears to be attacking lung and heart muscles, cases of flu-induced heart failure were being reported, especially amongst the elderly.

oh. fun.

Dude put me on Z-Pak for 5 days (antibiotic), Albuterol inhaler, and QVAR inhaler corticosteroid to reduce inflamation. Platelet counts are higher than normal, likely due to fighting off the infections, but seeing a hematologist some-time this week to get the official rundown - Currently taking baby asprin every morning to thin my blood out a bit in the meantime.

Getting old fucking sucks.

z pak here too, among other things. like you said in a later post, test wasn't clear, so overly cautious. yea, this was nasty... and i'm not that old, i can't imagine for people my parents age.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YouTube admits error over Bitcoin video purge on: December 29, 2019, 02:35:46 AM
Youtube has purged videos in the past and there's really no stopping the. They have a monopoly on the video uploading market at the moment and the competition isn't even remotely close. They tried to do the same with firearms and ammunition videos after mass shootings in the US and have yet to reverse the ban. The unfortunate reality of that ban was they sequestered the ability to view safe firearm procedures over pressure from gun rights activists. Not sure if this was the same for Bitcoin but it wouldn't surprise me to see Google be anti-cryptocurrency. Can we take them at their word that it was an accident? Eh, maybe.

and they've had other issues with thier automation banning accounts totally incorrectly - not just youtube accounts, GOOGLE accounts. email, all of it, totally without cause, without report or flags even. then there's whole COPPA thing where videos have to be marked "for kids" or "not for kids" and for kids stuff gets no comments and massively reduced ad money - fine on the surface, and the result of a lawsuit they lost, in fact - but their automated systems are flagging things as "for kids" that are very, very NOT for kids...

there really needs to be a viable alternative to youtube... which i know i said before. just... restating the obvious i guess? i don't have any solutions, here.
11  Economy / Services / Re: Yobit.net signature campaign on: December 29, 2019, 02:28:22 AM
ok, i THINK i am usingthe most current signature, but like i see some others mentioning (  only glanced, i admit) my account is showing disabled due to inactivity, even though it's not been a week, let a lone a month.

what gives, and how to fix?

Seeing your post history. You didn't update your signature by the time cryptotalk change there signature codes and you didn't post that much since December. Most of your post didn't count which results for your inactivity. Maybe you stop posting when they are temporary stop paying user.

As the user said above. You don't have a chance anymore to join again on this campaign.

one strike and your out eh? well that's... fucking stupid, honestly. but, ok.

thank you for informing me.

13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: YouTube admits error over Bitcoin video purge on: December 28, 2019, 09:51:16 PM
it really amazes me that with all the issues youtube has there hasn't been an actual competitor. like, ok, d.tube has been around for years. anyone use it much? i've never heard of it until today, myself.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any specific video channel for cryptocurrencies same like bitcointalk? on: December 28, 2019, 09:49:59 PM
as we see discussed over here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5212947.0

the youtube thing was apparently an error. that thread also high lights D.tube or something like that as an alternative. i've never heard of it myself, but perhaps its what you're looking for.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After segwit BTC is not Bitcoin anymore! on: December 25, 2019, 05:28:01 AM
I wonder what kind of human being is this Shocked seriously, you call people fools when you’re the one who’s a fool.
You’re making use of Bitcoin and you have the Bitcoin address as your signature which clearly shows that you’re making use of Bitcoin, but you still have the guts to be talking trash about it and calling others fools.

Before you start opposing Bitcoin and saying that it’s not what others think it is, then you should set an example by stop using it yourself and switch to another cryptocurrency you believe is right. And from your second comment you even made it clear that you’re working and accepting Bitcoin, lol. You’re not serious.
Because BTC is popular now, but it's temporarily. When BSV will on first place at coinmarketcap, we will go to the BSV addresses

to quote the simpsons character comic book guy, "there is no emoticon for what i am feeling!"

as in, there's just not a big enough laugh reaction for that. holy kool aide drinking, batman.
16  Economy / Economics / Re: What if crypto vanishes? on: December 21, 2019, 06:42:09 PM
What will happen if crypto vanishes overnight or due to some or the other reason if crypto becomes inaccessible to public? I know this does not make sense as crypto will not vanish but still what if it happens? What about those huge chunk of investments made by whales and other investors?

unless you can suggest some remotely possible way this could actually happen, there's no point in discussing it, because it won't happen.

like, "what would happen if a pig suddenly sprouted actual, feathered wings and began flying?" it ain't gonna happen, so why discuss it?

i'll go further though - in bitcoin's case, it can't happen. not "overnight" anyway. you'd have to see access to the internet entirely cut, globally. and if that DID somehow happen, we'd have MUCH bigger problems to worry about.

maybe i'm wrong - but come on. without a plausible "here's how it could happen," we might as well talk about what we'd do if we grew a third arm.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 21, 2019, 06:37:30 PM
i made a mistake and tried to follow some of the lines in that mess. argh...
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After segwit BTC is not Bitcoin anymore! on: December 21, 2019, 03:10:27 AM
Who cares?

BTC is not Bitcoin.

well, obviously, YOU care. yet, you use BTC.

and what does it MATTER what "IS bitcoin" anyway? you, yourself, clearly don't give a shit, and go where the money is.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should adopt a multi-algo PoW consensus mechanism on: December 21, 2019, 02:51:04 AM
the quality of the idea isn't the problem - it seems fine to me, but it's outside my expertise - the issue is the difficulty of the change.

you would have to get people like bitmain and canaan and EVERY OTHER miner AND user of bitcoin, far more than 51%, closer to 90%, to adopt the new code. and make no mistake, it would, in effect, be a new coin entirely. unless absolutely everyone transacting in BTC upgraded to the new software, the old would remain, and would still function.

there's no way to change bitcoin's POW without forking and creating two bitcoins.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After segwit BTC is not Bitcoin anymore! on: December 21, 2019, 02:46:50 AM
And yet you have a Segwit address in your sig?

And why are you even putting a NotBitcoin address in there anyway?
it's temporary

most of payments are carried out in this currency

i cannot even begin to understand your purpose or reasoning in coming and posting this, when you're actively contradicting yourself. why should anyone listen to you when you, yourself, don't?
