Obviously there is only BTC, and BTC will go up up and up just like gold did, the point is to not just hold, but day trade and predict the 100$-2000$ moves either way like I did few days ago, I shorted at 8100$ because by my TA it was time to crash, which it did after last spike to 8400 and a huge drop to 7125$.
BTC along with the next top coins are good to hold, they will not be in their spot for no reason. Having see BTC incline in price this past days can also reflect alts prices. |

I do not care about the price at all. I don't give a shit to the BTC price all I care is if BTC has any value. I am interested in the technology and not on its price. and I am sure that not a lot of people are gonna get affected by the little price drop. there are even people who did not have any coins at all.
Some didn't aware yet BTC exist, so when time comes chances are more will get to know btc due to it's use and value that can affect the price too. Sudden drop doesn't mean loss, there will always be the next incline to watchout. |

I think it will depend on the coin you are going to buy because some of them takes time before they eventually go up. Double down is one of the effective method to earn profits after buying a coin in several dips but be sure that the coin has a potential to reverse its trend after several dips. The crypto market especially altcoins can make you rich very fast but it can also make you poor real quick. Last year I started to became more contented and realistic that 10% above is already a very good profit. I only hold few long term coins now like bitcoin and ethereum.
Getting some profits, 10% for example, is already good and most of the time I will sell my coins whenever I got such profit. And then I will wait for some time to start buying again, especially when prices move down. Setting amount or percentage is a good idea in trading, we can put brackets of percentage were that can coin reach and sell it or when is the time to give up such coin.
