181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like Meme Coins (Pepes project)? on: May 29, 2023, 03:00:53 PM
the pepe hype is ongoing, don't know when it will disappear, I personally am not very interested in meme coins, but I often pay attention to meme coins which always see the initial token hype, after the initial token dims then the next token will be 0 or invaluable
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I believe that Bitcoin will make me independent on: May 28, 2023, 04:57:30 AM

You are right, I’m sorry for this. I’m going to delete it. I don’t want to seem like a fraud…

as a cheater not necessarily, but here you look like a  beggar in this forum, everyone in this forum initially also like you have financial limitations they joined the bounty that was held from this forum and the existing airdrop, with the prizes given they processed it well so one could say they own all the crypto because they are good at managing the finances of their prize money
try to do the same thing following the bounty and airdrop for you ,  it looks futile but it's better than asking people for mercy
183  Economy / Economics / Re: Why you should use spare money to invest on: May 27, 2023, 03:20:32 PM
I prefer to say it's the money from the little bit we have each month.
Because with it I become more able to manage finances because it can be one of the budgets that can be prepared from the results of our income every month. I originally did that by reserving money from the unexpected budget to invest but increasingly I am becoming more and more liberated because I think that unexpected money like that is still quite needed even though in the end when a few months are not used it returns to savings and investment but it becomes erratic in the financial records that I have so in this case I try to change some strategies here.
I set aside about 10 to 15 percent of my total income every month just for the investment budget, the rest I divide for my savings, unexpected needs and daily needs so that with that I become a little more open and transparent about the amount of investment that I put in every month and of course this is quite important at least for me.

I like the way you manage finances, with investment at least our spare money is still there and can be used when needed, it's different if you have cash reserves or savings which can be withdrawn and spent at any time
184  Economy / Economics / Re: If they have the solution, why are banks still failing? on: May 27, 2023, 02:54:46 PM
But some of these CEO and board of Directors claim that they have wealth of experience in financial matters. The way they attack cryptocurrency firms will make one believe that they have all the solutions and are infallible.

I'm going to argue that they do have the knowledge and experience — until they get too greedy and try to maximize revenues of the company. Greed is that one thing that can royally fuck someone up regardless of knowledge/experience, and no one is 100% safe from it. Hence, bitcoin > banks.

Greed is what destroys everyone, not only banks, I think, in crypto, we can also experience bankruptcy if we are too greedy.
one more valuable experience is failure, but if the bank has failed it is difficult to return and the person concerned with the failure of the bank will find it difficult to improve his reputation
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Pi mining networks real? on: May 26, 2023, 02:09:17 PM
Pi mining network is listed on different trading platforms that is trusted coins coming out soon, China are willing to buy it when is launches into the market but I had trust issues with most of airdrops and free mining networks, some after a while it will just vanished or remain irrelevant. Do you think is real or is going to be launched soon?

no one knows because this project is from the end of 2018 I know until the day I don't determine its development in the intended mainet, the uneven implementation of KYC makes it doubtful to do kyc if you get an invitation
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: May 26, 2023, 02:06:39 PM
Next year will be my first bull run and have just been thinking about what will be best to do when it finally arrives next year.

Do you plan on just holding till an amount you are happy with or is it a good idea to try and trade altcoins whilst they are pumping to earn even more?

I personally held on to the price I was targeting before because I didn't want to be greedy like before, because I wanted to be more expensive and it turned out that I was stuck until today
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which YouTube influencers to counter trade? on: May 26, 2023, 07:50:35 AM
no suggestions for crypto influencer channels, because they can't be role models, where they only look for hype from new coins and are fomo as long as they get money only,
moreover, you will invite them to debate crypto issues, I think it will be a waste of your time where they don't understand what they have to offer and tell their channel as a whole

the reason I say that is because I don't follow YouTube and other social media Bitcoin influencers or traders, I trade according to my will and my readiness in the capital I have
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Life After 10 years in Bitcoin... on: May 25, 2023, 10:41:41 PM

So in order words you are saying that one should actually save money for the unexpected events that might occur in our life's so as to free us from tempering with our bitcoin investment or any other investment? Well I think thats not a bad idea but I don't think anyone actually save for the unexpected or Atleast my savings is actually for such purpose because money spent to tackle my problem is actually welcome for me as a money well spent because the problems are bound to come but it will be worse if there is actually no funds to handle it or lead to you borrowing from others.

it should be like this, saving to cover unexpected things in the future, so that there are no debts when they need funds, but in this case people are often negligent because they oversimplify financial problems hoping that a loan will come when they need it
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT OR MEMES on: May 24, 2023, 02:00:57 PM
I personally don't recommend investing in both, moreover both are just following the hype in my opinion, but if it's just for hit and run, it doesn't matter not for the long term.
everyone returned to their respective views
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XLM - yes or no? on: May 24, 2023, 01:53:17 PM
Be good to hear thoughts on XLM, both good and bad?
XLM is currently quiet for the project there is no further development like the others are just silent, but I believe in XLM more than XRP at this time, I still have my XLM in my pocket to go to the new ATH
In this day and age if you are silent then it means you are going to die. That's as simple as it gets, the only coin that has no improvements and still can stay strong is bitcoin, and even that had a segwit change a few years back, so it should not be a big deal if you ask me to continue having something else.

I believe that it should not be a huge problem when we are talking about coins that improve, but XLM is not improving and that's not going to change anytime soon neither, they will stay like that and the ones that improve will get ahead of it constantly. This is why it would not make sense to invest into something like that, I would highly suggest avoiding it if you can and that would give you a better result overall, without a doubt.

Yes, I know that but there is a reason why I have to wait until he reaches a new ath, because I am already at a loss, I don't know how long he will last in my wallet, I will keep holding on to him in case of a miracle
191  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial education or 1million dollars on: May 23, 2023, 11:35:56 PM
Financial education has always been a game changer in the financial state of a man, it is the best education a father can give to his children because once you are financially educated, it's near impossible not to be financially stable.

Have you wonder why most lottery winners have gone back to square one after winning or most rich kids losing their inheritance due to poor/bad management of funds, it's because they lack financial education.

On the other hand 1million dollars is truly a life changing amount of money but if you are not financially educated, you will lose it all on  the long run,
I don't know if anyone sees it the same way I do?

1 million $ will quickly run out if someone's financial management is not good, it will be long-term otherwise, especially for gambling 1 million is only seriphan for reliable gamblers and often wins large numbers of lottery but all will not stick if they don't have education in managing Money
So education is important for financial matters
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wife discovers husband's hidden Bitcoin during divorce proceeding on: May 23, 2023, 02:51:09 PM
Hi guys!
I have come across a topic here that emphasized on the need to disclose one's Bitcoin dealings and seed phrase to his/her spouse incase something bad and unexpected like death comes knocking on the door, the husband or wife can have access to the funds and claim it.

Well... This story is quite different. A husband hid his crypto assets from his wife amid divorce saga, the wife had her suspicion, then hired a forensic expert who found out that during the splitting of the property, the husband failed to declared his 12 BTC stashed somewhere in an undisclosed wallet. She's now asking that the Bitcoin be splitted into two.

https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2023/05/20/bitcoin-in-divorce-how-spouses-hide-assets-crypto-hunters-find-them.html

Looks like some of the married folks are getting smarter... They don't want to be left in the dark, but are going out to get it themselves through crypto hunters. What's your thoughts on this?

In this case, are they really smart or wise? If they do not completely trust each other, they still go to marriage and, as a result, have to go to court and doubt each other until the end. If you think they're smart, your marriage will be just like them. My wife and I always share everything with each other, if one of us intends to hide from each other, we will never be able to love each other until now.

hey dude, not all families have the same problems, so if you're getting along you won't find your partner's flaws, not smart enough in this case, because it's the rule in marriage that joint property after marriage must be divided equally if you don't have children,
but if 12 btc is purchased by the man before marriage the woman has no rights in that ownership,
only a greedy woman admits what is not hers,

193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you give one reason why I should buy bitcoin? on: May 22, 2023, 04:03:46 PM
there are many reasons that you will get from here, and many people will say the same as what your friends say, but investing in bitcoin requires strong faith and patience, and understanding of the risks that will be faced in the future, such as prices falling by up to 50% from ATH even more, be patient waiting for the new ATH
so understand the basics about btc and you can come back any time to invest in bitcoin and other crypto
but my advice is that you better buy btc first then other crypto when you already benefit from btc itself

195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunter is considered as investors with a big patience. on: May 22, 2023, 07:25:53 AM
even though I am a hunter I don't feel like an investor because how can you say that you are a hunter investor, a hunter only has time and mind to do work that rewards the coins they offer
In contrast to investors who actually spend money from their pockets to buy and support the project, investors' patience is tested when the dev runs away or suddenly scams and they lose.

just my opinion
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins airdrops you received so far for the year 2023 on: May 22, 2023, 07:16:14 AM
Some say airdrops retroactive arent profitable. Maybe for some its a waste of time but for others thats plenty of money already and could been helpful to their financial status in life. Im giving of my airdrops receive so far and hoping to gain with other protocols too.  Can you share yours?

*Arbitrum 1500 tokens (free)
*Sui Network 1500 tokens ($45 for joining allowlist at $0.03 per tokens)

I'll update the thread for the next drops that I would receive from doing testnet and retroactive tasks.

Unfortunately I missed both of them, because I was busy with my child who needed extra supervision, hopefully in the next retro I can receive gifts too, like you and the others
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Budget For Halving on: May 20, 2023, 11:08:03 PM
should avoid loans, just invest with your savings, because we don't know what will happen next whether the halving will occur in 2024 or it will miss, I'm afraid.
understand that everything will not go smoothly as expected, instead you want to get a profit, but in the end, the profit you get is only to pay the interest on your loan
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can personality trait or ones DNA sequence determine ones success in Bitcoin? on: May 20, 2023, 11:03:42 PM
my answer to all your questions is no,
because success is not from genes or what you say, success will be obtained from perseverance and enthusiasm from yourself to be successful and have one goal, namely success
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I got my stubborn neighbour working for a central bank to adopt Bitcoin on: May 20, 2023, 11:00:18 PM
nice try to convince someone about btc ,
there are many bank employees in my country who believe in btc, it will be profitable to invest in btc, but believe it is not a guarantee for them to invest in btc there are many considerations they say, but there are also some who invest in btc by setting aside their salary for btc, the point is they have not ready with the risks involved when investing in btc, when the market is not doing well
