1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how do I keep my private key safe? on: February 22, 2023, 03:43:49 PM
While considering private key safety many suggestions have already been mentioned in posts, but still private keys are the ultimate source to access crypto electronically, without a private key no one can get access to crypto assets. So keeping them safe and secure is the most important task.

As Gmail, any drive, or any cloud services are third-party and completely centralized services that may keep watch on data stored electronically, so never keep any confidential data on electronic platforms. It may bring trouble.

The second important task to keep your wallet safe is never to use your wallet for suspicious sites by allowing to access them.

Many phishing sites have extra scripts embedded within websites that get access to the wallet and may harm your equity.

4  Economy / Economics / Re: Has the popularity of bitcoins reduced interest of people in stocks? on: November 15, 2022, 07:35:31 PM
Bitcoin is still in the development phase, it will definitely take time to come into the mainstream, but still, bitcoin has proven its existence, since it was born.

When it comes to profitability, comparing Bitcoin to equities is merely a thought.

Stocks give like 20-30% returns in an year but bitcoin and other crypto coins can give this much return in just one day. At such, do you think that increasing popularity of bitcoin has reduced interest of people in stocks.
Investing primarily in Bitcoin is a high-risk endeavor. Because cryptocurrency markets rely heavily on decentralized technologies. It will take time for the general population to grasp and adjust to it, but given the present generation and accessible technology, the majority of the new generation flood comes from Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. As a result, crypto and similar technology-related activities will advance at a rapid pace in the future.

I think in some countries, people are really shifting to crypto only and most of their investment portfolio is in the form of crypto instead of stocks. The awareness related to crypto is increasing day by day and this more people are getting included in this crowd. Stocks on the other hand become saturated, people have realized that these stocks are not as much profitable as bitcoins. Also, there are other benefits of bitcoins like it can be used for transactions. This cannot be done with stocks.
Some major reasons for this include: 1. Crypto trading is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 2. Decentralized 3. Because the system is entirely virtual, security is critical.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the future of crypto 10 years from now. on: May 01, 2022, 03:51:47 PM
The importance of numbers cannot be overstated.

Ten years ago, Bitcoin was not well-known among the general public. The crypto industry, on the other hand, has grown at a breakneck speed since bitcoin was first introduced to the general public 14 years ago. The use of cryptocurrency is growing in popularity. There are a host of other cryptocurrencies on the market in addition to Bitcoin.

More customers will become involved in the next 10 years as a result of a greater grasp of current technology adoption and usage, enhancing the value of Bitcoin.

Blockchain and Cryptography technology is at the heart of Bitcoin. In the coming years, these two disruptive technologies will alter the future of business, as well as economics and finance.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: India Exploring Commercial Uses for CBDC, Says Finance Minister !!! on: May 01, 2022, 03:37:14 PM
If any government considers CBDC to be legal money, it will be a farce on the Cryptocurrency standard. Despite the fact that cryptocurrency is not legal cash in India, the government levies taxes on crypto trading and profits of up to 50%. And it still intends to launch its own CBDC.

The government spends more time learning about the benefits and potential of Blockchain technology. Furthermore, the government lacks comprehensive documentation on the accessibility of crypto. The government loses money as a result of all of this.

But, rather than creating a new CBDC, my honest recommendation is to build a proper structure for crypto taxes. This is due to the fact that CBDC will be entirely centralized.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to leave crypto on exchanges? on: April 30, 2022, 06:07:42 AM
Leaving crypto on exchanges is risky not just because you lose control of/ownership of your assets, but also because you risk being duped or hacked by the exchanger. Depending on the volume, storing assets on an exchanger might earn you some money. However, if the exchanger is hacked, you might lose your money forever.

The second point is that each exchanger is centralized and requires KYC, locking your account with an exchanger, this also leads to risk assets.

So always find more information and DYOR to keep your crypto asset safe and secure.

16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Crypto to the wrong address on: April 30, 2022, 05:44:43 AM
  • Did it happen to you?

  • How comfortable are you every time you transfer to a remote address?
Very much comfortable. By checking the address of the sender by confirming it twice.

  • Would you be more comfortable using a helper?
No. To date not used any helper. But in the future, if any services are available then will definitely consider a helper.

  • What do you use today to mitigate this risk?
I personally always check the sender's address along with the respective chain, and network. Most addresses with exchangers have limited control over cross-chain support, so always check Chain support for a particular address. Blockchain technology is immutable and non-reversible. So always confirm and verify your transaction before making any payment via crypto.
17  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Best advertiser networks? on: April 28, 2022, 06:47:42 PM
The first thing to consider is why you're picking an advertising network in the first place. If it's about action/download/lead/sale/subscribe, you'll need to carefully select an advertising network by doing a thorough test that includes A/B split testing, cross-channel promotions, CPM, and so on.

AdBit, A-Ads, Bitmedia, CoinMedia, CoinTraffic, Coinzilla, and Mellow Ads are just a few of the crypto advertising networks available. Crypto payments are accepted by all networks.

However, users of crypto ad networks have some restrictions when it comes to audience targeting. Normal advertising networks, on the other hand, provide you with far more control over your ad schedule, pricing, and frequency.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Yield farming or staking? on: April 18, 2022, 09:37:18 PM
We are entering a new era of economics and finance. Web 3.0 opens more doors for crypto users to get higher ROI with crypto investment. With Web 3.0 Defi is exploring even more and expanding very rapidly. Within Defi yield farming and staking both give calculated ROI on investment.

But as we all know every altcoin completely depends upon bitcoins price and its value in Bitcoin. So, making an investment in Defi is a very High-Risk investment.

But using various information about Altcoins, Crypto, Bitcoin, Defi, Ecomerce, Farming(Yield), Gaming(Virtual), Liquidity Mining, Minting, Open Source, and Staking, anyone can get unbelievable returns on crypto investment, but at the same time, there is a risk of getting losing equity or even risk of getting hacked due to a data breach, or any attack.  So always be safe, and secure with your crypto asset.

So always warned to make DYOR and never invest that much amount you cannot afford to lose.
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 50 Movies, 100 Books and 100 podcasts on Bitcoin, and more on: April 18, 2022, 03:34:30 PM

First of all hearty admiration for this collection in a single place.

Many have even given suggestions as I checked the topic. These suggestions also have to consider. But doing such a task of collection and making it on the OP is a time taking.

This is really useful for newbies to understand Bitcoin a bit more in the easiest way.

Once again congratulations and many thanks to OP.
