you send money to a scammer... and when it's declared scam it's really hard get money back. but if you see at least 6 days ago I have warned here about this site  I am sorry for your lose, but now you understand why is important stop sending money to this scammer. Because there are every time new user that believe a site like this working! Yeah, I know. I feel stupid, but I'll still hound him. |

I am multi pioneer  I don't think it is hard to hold that amount of bitcoin. We all see this from different perspectives. An IT professional in the SF Bay area can become a "multi-elite" BTC member with a single paycheck. People in developing (formerly known as Third World) countries are less likely to have it so easy. I know I'm not a Pioneer when I can buy a miner, have it delivered within 2-3 days max and then have it set up and churning @ >4 TH/s in 15 minutes or less. |

i actually switched mine to mine peercoin.. you have a better chance of getting a block.
What Peercoin solo pool are you using? i got 2 blocks so far. Is that just with an R1? If so over what period of time, that sounds better than I would have expected. Rich no i have the R1, 3 compacs and 3 underclocked S3s on there.. the diff is just around 500M so its not hard to pull that high of a share. digital coin is also looking pretty good, so i might try to stick the compacs on that for awhile. i think mining bitcoin is coming to an end.. these alt coins will take off as more people switch to them. How long have you been mining to get the 2 Blocks? I have had 3TH on peercoin.ecoining.com for 10 Days and only found 1 Block.. Yes I felt the need to take a break from Bitcoin, also playing with Burst which is fun. Rich i got the blocks back to back when i first started mining on there.. been about 10 days im about 1th i have had a few close calls tho since then 2 blocks found in 10 days? That's ridiculously lucky for the hash you described. |

If you want to mine sha256 based coins, a used S3 might be a cheap start, but as others have said ROI is hard to get these days.
You could get a Compac USB stick or two and solo mine for fun.
With S3, there is not ROI at all. The cost of electricity will be higher than the bitcoin produced if you pay for electricity. I did preface that will "ROI is difficult", which it is. Those of us on municipal electricity with very low rates can. But yeah, unless you solo mine and get incredibly lucky very early, these are not money makers right now. If BTC goes WAY up, then that's a different ballgame. Never say never. |

Top invested area was just added...going to be working on some ideas for the investment area to improve. Hopefully make it look a lot cleaner and user friendly!
where is it EDIT : found it , maybe add few more 5 or 10 thank EDIT2 : add some chat in the website will be good idea Not shooting down ideas...I like the clean look. It's a nice change from the chaos of banner ads, bell and whistles. Just one man's opinion. |

I just received several R1s from HolyBitcoin (great service, fast shipping BTW... holybitcoin.com <-- recommend)
I was able to set everything up on the unit I'm keeping for myself with no problems, except I can't get it to run my Gekko (compac) USB miners. I have 4 in total, but I'm trying to just get one working through a non-powered hub.
The compac stick was recognized for a short time...it flashed as it should when working and showed up in the R1 U3 Status page. It even created a worker on both antpool and f2pool, but then it just stops after a minute or two. I tried it at the default frequency on R1 and at max the firmware allows (218.5?). Adding power to the hub did nothing.
I see others are using the R1 as a compac stick controller...
1) You think CrazyGuy's firmware update might just make the problem go away?
2) Can anyone using R1/Gekko weigh in with any ideas as to why I get recognition, then "gone"?

Anyone have any use for a U3 that no longer hashes? Fan spins, usb led comes on, but it won't hash. If you pay shipping I'll send it to you.
Hey Mike, is this offer still open? If it is, I'll take it (if it's not too much$$)...they have heat sinks in them that I can use for project. Can you check shipping cost to zip 12937 and PM me cost, etc? I'll add a little more on top for your trouble. |

No. Like the Sukhoi PAK FA, which is 100 times better than your $1.45 trillion Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II. Americans still think that the Russians are stuck with Soviet-era weaponry, and there is your mistake. During the past 10-15 years, the Russian military technology got improved by a great deal, while the American one got stagnated. American military technology is 30 years ahead of released public knowledge. You also need to look at sheer numbers of these equipment. Russia has the best tank force and more nukes. That's all. The US has air and sea superiority. Bottom line is if they fight, we all lose. Ok, and you honestly think that russia for example is sleeping while DARPA is trying to invent something new.... Well, you are very likely to be disinformed about other nations capabilities my dear friend. If your statement would be true, why should i wait a single day if i am 30 years ahead of my oponent? You are not able to think logically  Ad hominem attack? We know nothing of other nations capabilities because they don't do anything. I would rather say you know nothing, than saying we know nothing...  Would you rather? Where do you live? |
