Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think that Bitcoincash will replace Bitcoin

Bitcoin Cash is just a Chinese miners altcoin version. Wow! This for the very first time I see someone here so bluntly supporting the idea that "BSV is the real Bitcoin". Do you really think the diagram is correct? And if the answer is yes, can you explain why? Asking because when I try to research about BSV on independent resources of information, I generally come across something like this: "BSV is a centralized sh*tcoin controlled by a narcissist scammer". Thank you. Was Bitcoin forcefully hardforked on 27 Dec 2017? Yes it was, a hardfork is a departure from original chain. 3rd party segregate witness is not the creators vision of a free person to person (peer to peer) interaction. Lightning is like opening a bank account (you have to establish a connection) and a shop can refuse you to establish a connection for what ever reason they like to come up with. A connection is for a lifetime so you become a obedient slave. Hard core Bitcoiner will never depart Satoshie’s vision and continue on his creation and work. BSV is a decentralized blockchain and not controlled by Craig or anyone else. Miners with the hashing control a PoW chain. Lots of smart devs departed BCH and work on BSV now. BCH is a Chinese miners version of bitcoin and in future when block reward get to low (halving ever 4 years) the greedy miners will change max supply as they have the votes with the hashing power. The roadmap for the segwit version is similar, next fork when backward comparability stop and the fork after that when max supply changes which will happen as it has been mentioned several times. Rain Hail or Snow BSV stays true Satoshi course. https://bitcoinsv.io/

Of course it will. In 2018 2,054,976,219 xrp where added to circulating supply, which means on average 5,630,072 daily. As there is no supply halving it means in 30 years time still x millions hit the market daily. Most version of Bitcoin and other proper cryptocoins halve supply every 4 years. Currently about 1900 coins are mined daily in 30 years 8. So no reduction on supply for xrp and halving after halving for proper crypto and you think it has chance of survival, yeh Santa clause is coming. Circulation graph

I do not think that such coin as Ripple would die. I agree and also think that Ripple is a centralised asset and has nothing familiar with crypto currencies, but it seems like a lot of investors are still putting a lot of money in Ripple.
Yes, we should remember that ripple is a strong coin and it is fighting with ethereum. Ripple has much potential and a bright future also. What a you talking about. Is this happening a lot in your tribe in the jungle?

I can say 100% that bitcoincash cant replace bitcoin, why? even ethereum cant replace bitcoin so how come bitcoincash will take over bitcoin? on what aspect bitcoincash surpass bitcoin?
Almost no altcoin can replace bitcoins until now, bitcoin seems to be a coin that represents the cryptocurrency market, maybe no altcoin will replace bitcoin. Bitcoin is an altcoin, it hard forked on 27 December 2017 to create the segregated witness version departing the white paper and creators implementation. If you hardfork you create alternative version.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Coins are a great LONG-TERM investment ????
|
on: January 21, 2019, 06:12:20 PM

I think the smallest risk of long-term investment is when you invest in the longest existing currencies on the market. Therefore, in my opinion, it is best to invest in a few coins from top20 on a coinmarketcap. For example: Ethereum, EOS, Litecoin, Monero, DASH, NEM
Part time comedian, EOS has a timestamp of Jun-08-2018, how is that longest existing when Bitcoin 10 year old is. When did a currency become an investment with a build in guarantee of ~2% inflation loss. Currency dealers have been trading currency's for hundreds of years none came of the idea to invest in it. If it is secured cryptographic, with watermark or joe blows signature makes no difference. Stocks, Property, Shares, Gold, Silver, ...... are investments they may go down in value but by default to not have a build in loss of 2% every year. Most versions of Bitcoin, supply halves every 4 years, deflationary.

Personally I don't believe that Ripple will die because Ripple have a lot of supporters and adoption and its more of a bank coin too. So this may not be possible.
Banks have absolutely nothing to do with xrp, its pure fud. No bank has or will ever buy a single xrp or use one the sign agreements with Ripple Inc which itself only uses xrp in extreme rare circumstances like less the 5% of the time.

Split coins will never be able to beat the original coins. as well as bitcoincash, he will still be an altcoin and will never be number one. and I think it's more possible for coins like ripple or ethereum to beat bitcoin.
If the original bitcoin is changed so much that it has nothing to do with the original which is the case with segregated witness then it is no longer the original. SV sticks to original implementation come rain, hail whatever, no bugging the creators work is continued. Bitcoincashes future is uncertain. Besides beat, defeat is there some kind of football game.

Apparently KYC is required ! https://twitter.com/CryptoParadyme/status/1087178167230459904"Put in $25. Got the slip. Great. Went back to my car. Name. Phone. Number. Email. Okay. Identification. Lame but not unexpected. Seems silly for such a small amount. Wasn't able to do it from mobile. App wouldn't complete the process. Tried on 4G and Wifi. ... Get home. Upload everything. Now they want a selfie. For $25. Selfie uploaded. Please wait 5 minutes for verification. Fine. They push me through signing up for their website to create an account. ... Finally withdrew with a fee of 1 Sat/B. Lost 4% in fees to the ATM + Their large markup on Bitcoin price + the extra transaction fee their bad tx organization added." Bought on localbitcoins yesterday, also had to send him my driving license & a selfie with the date on. Hate that shit man. KYC works both ways, did you demand driving license and selfie of the person you about to sent some money or any random stranger found on the net will to. KTC, Know the Company first.

Slavery has no room in modern society, xrp is full blown enslavement. A shop can refuse to establish a banking connection, if one is established its for live, all purchases are visible forever.
The future will be freedom for all.
"wIlL bE fReEdoM fOr aLl" Very much sums it up. A typical paid Ripple Inc. shill promoting the worthless xrp-

................. long-term investment.
When did a currency become an investment with a build in guarantee of ~2% inflation loss. Currency dealers have been trading for hundreds of years. You mean they are total idiots and should have just invested and be filthy rich now. If it is secured cryptographic, with watermark or joe blows signature makes no difference. Stocks, Property, Shares, Gold, Silver, ...... are investments they may go down in value but by default to not have a build in loss of 2% every year. Xrp inflation in 2018 2.05% Euro inflation in 2018 1.73%
