21  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Check Liquidity Before you invest on: February 22, 2020, 08:42:20 PM
Speaking of liquidity which means that it can easily be exchanged, it must be followed where the place of exchange which is easy, not only easy but we must choose an exchange that has good reviews or is used by many real people.
Funny enough, but I'm pretty sure most of the big companies took care of reviews on their service so you won't now the clear truth anyway
22  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: February 11, 2020, 11:20:35 AM
This is absurd reasoning , bitcoin was created to show the application of Blockchain and revolutionise digital money as it become decentralised rather than what we currently have. It is true that we should focus more on increasing btc quantity rather just using for daily purpose but it is also its plus point that bitcoin is becoming widely popular as virtual gold asset with ability to use as general digital currency.
Are you suggesting that it's not time for Bitcoin to become a world currency? If your statement is like that then it's very disappointing for a community. we know that Bitcoin has been running for 10 years, and everything still looks good, even countries also see bitcoin as a currency, we should make it happen
Bitcoin won't be world currency until it is usable for anyone.
At this point it is handy for traders/investors and quite useful for countries, but it is worthless for regular person since you can't buy a coffee with it
23  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: February 02, 2020, 02:13:22 PM
I myself am from Ukraine and still live in this country and today, in fact, cryptocurrency is legalized and every cryptocurrency asset is recognized as a means of payment, a valuable asset and an asset for investment, but there is a certain framework for taxing activities on the cryptocurrency market.  In any case, no user will pay tax on the available cryptocurrency reserves in their wallets, but taxes will be levied only on very large transactions when trading cryptocurrency.  Since the cryptocurrency market in my country so far has been out of sight, that is, it was in the shade, we still have to imagine seeing how all this will work when citizens show interest in cryptocurrency assets.

You're saying cryptocurrencies do have actual legal status of a payment option in your country, but only big transactions come with taxes?
I barely can believe it, could you please proof, because if what you're saying is true that mean your country is a damn heaven for crypto traders
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Problem in trust or correction time? on: January 26, 2020, 12:12:05 PM
because old coins will not provide immediate profits so they still expect instant profits.
or old coins with low prices are not convincing to buy, so they are better off doing daily trading and looking for a project that is really good, rather than having to invest in an old project.

I think you're close to the truth.
I believe that any investor who consider buying crypto is thinking about it as of high risk-high reward field.
But it's not like that anymore (mostly) so they decide to hop on somthing risky like ico instead of going into low reward digital currency
25  Other / Off-topic / Re: Blockchain and lottery/games... share your thoughts on: January 15, 2020, 03:30:28 PM
My friends and I are suckers for new blockchain projects. We were at the casino last weekend and were talking about the possibility of having a blockchain-powered lottery/gambling platform.

One of my friends mentioned that games in casinos are not accessible to most people due to it having an image that its only for rich people.

Maybe if there was a public lottery platform, more people can experience the excitement of playing.

What do you think?

We all are just ordinary people with not much of a entrepreneur experience and/or expert skills in blockchain.
So how can we say if it is a good idea?
I could've told you if the game idea is good because I've played several times
26  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: localbitcoin steals me? on: January 08, 2020, 01:48:13 AM

Virtual or not, it has to count as some sort of good/property. I think that's best to find/ask a lawyer. Edit: I googled for ask a lawyer spain and I've seen some free services which may be what you need.

The thing is it doesn't have to count as anything but random digits on some website.
So if @paddy_exchange doesn't want to lose bitcoin he has to accept T&C and withdraw or contact support in order to withdraw funds without accepting new T&C
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat currencies on: December 31, 2019, 12:31:33 AM
Euro doesn't need to take over dollar in the world, euro is only for Europe and they are doing fine with their own currency. That was the whole reason for it, when there was individual currencies for each nation there was a problem with dollar domination on all of them in exchanges, but now that they have euro, dollar can't really bother them anymore, not when they are doing business cross borders.

Anyone from Belgium could go to Netherlands for a weekend gateaway and doesn't need to change their money to something else. Sure, dollar is still the main money in third world countries and everywhere else other than Europe but when it comes to euro zone the money you need is euro and that is enough for them. There are tons of nations who are working to get into euro because of it.

Totally agreed.
I'd add China in the list of countries who doesn't need USD that much.
Also China is self-sufficient state (mostly) so outer world doesn't really affect inner situation in the country.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: stupidity is so close to poverty on: December 24, 2019, 06:59:07 AM
Poverty has many different causes, and - if stupidity almost certainly makes you poor - the opposite is not true at all: there are many environmental situations where even a genius would not be able to rise from poverty.
So, it seems to me a wrong statement.
We cannot label poor as stupid or stupid as poor. I agree with you that there could be various reasons for poverty. It is never that you were rich and lost money because of stupidity. People have been seen losing money because of different addictions and becoming rich by chance or just because of mere luck. Wealth can never define your mental capabilities but yes it could be taken for your hard work.
Rich is a state of mind. You cannot say that a people is a poor just because he doesn't have a lot of money. Being poor is not stupid, they do not only have opportunities that why they are still stuck in poor and middle class. Working hard is not enough, you also need to work smart to escape the poor and middle class. Those rich are working smart and they have the upper hand and that is why rich are getting richer.
Rich is really a state of mind. We can compare rich and poor, but we shouldn't mix smart and stupid in here. These are 2 different categories.
Sometimes a smart person can decide being poor all by himself.
However I have to admit that there is a correlation between poorness and stupidity overall.
29  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What would make you join a new community as well as here? on: December 20, 2019, 11:15:48 AM
In my opinion a new community could be desirable only if it brings some unique value.
Crypto community in Twitter for instance gives me the fastest news and quick responses.
This forum brings the most qualified users together.
Unfortunately, I can't help you make up such unique value from top of my head. But I hope you get the point
30  Economy / Economics / Re: The Government-Backed Digital Dollar (USD) on: December 15, 2019, 08:50:56 PM
There's a reason why they can't just adopt sudden changes like digital currency. I'm not sure and this is just my personal opinion but since USD is the world's reserved currency, and usd is involved in a lot of foreign exchange, I think if they adopt digital currency, not all countries can adopt it as well due to lack of technological capabilities and advancement.
Or maybe the government doesn't find it as that essential for now but maybe in the future they might adopt too.
USD have been world currency payment with many countries use USD as payment for export and import transactions and many loan making by government in one country always use USD as currency payment value when receive loan and give payment later, for country borrow when USD have higher price and pay after USD in lower price look profitable.

speaking about the greatness of US dollar is not a matter and for the cryptocurrency field we doesn't need that also. Whenever you wish to to invest on cryptocurrency you just need to forget about this table Fiat currencies because this all all their currencies are backed by federal and reserve banks.
banks are not at all helpful for the people in this world the only trying to scratch the uses who want to use it.

Banks are not trying to helpful, but useful (not always I agree)
If digital dollar would be backed by banks + it could be mined = boom
This combination can make Usd go straight up
