Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Confusion Surrounding Unusual Bitcoin Nonstandard Transactions in Block 831489

I believe the first transaction is either a dust related ( probably a dust attacks on several addresses) or probably something related to starting block rewards. Unlikely. Normal wallets can't send transactions under the dust limit (1 sat), and 1 sat/vbyte isn't enough to get it confirmed. The receiving address format reminds me of Blockchair's interpretation of OP_RETURN, but those can't send funds anymore. That makes me thing it's Taproot-related, but I don't know the details.

And roughtly the same amount as sent by Merit sources can "trickle down" to other users to send. In the past 8 weeks, 43568 sMerit was sent: Total: 1704769 Total: 1748337 That translates to about 23600 sMerit per month. I don't know how many of those came from Merit sources, but it's far from the maximum. Of course, there's also this: It's best if sources try to exhaust their source allocations, even if it means giving posts higher amounts than is typical. Either way, Merit isn't scarce. Good posts are. Prove me wrong!

Hello there some hours ago I sent ethereum on arbitrum instead of erc20 to your address I think this applies: The situation you described happens from time to time and our standard procedure to handle such cases is to cancel the order and disclose a private key of the deposit address to user. Our users never had problems restoring their tokens this way. i cant send a dm to you @OP: In your Bitcointalk Profile > Personal Message Options, you can allow Newbies to send you PMs.

Yep, that is one of the main concerns. I see only a way to go with this: Introduce new transaction formats and I'm fairly sure proof of ownership for P2PK outputs are difficult or close to impossible, so there is a dilemma: Either you burn them, or you let the adversary take it. Either ways, not particularly ethical. Had several discussions on this, and I think that there are pros and cons to both, just the lesser of both evils. A (partial) solution would be to require moving all coins to a new encryption long before Bitcoin is at risk, and burning anything else after a certain amount of time. But it goes against everything Bitcoin stands for.

USA is not issuing their cbdc yet because they are working on quantum computing proof encryption. Do you have a source for this? I can think of many more reasons to delay their CBDC plans, and I can also think of many more worries concerning the rest of the banking system than just CBDC. Bitcoin would probably be the least of the target; If governments were to have exclusive access, they would be too busy trying to break the hordes of data rather than trying to get some Bitcoins. Once more than one actor has access to enough computing power to steal Bitcoins, Bitcoin becomes worthless to them (and anyone else). Let's say someone steals 10,000 Bitcoins using quantum computing. Then he wants to use it, and makes a transaction. Now someone else steals the Bitcoins, after which the process repeats itself. This won't lead to stolen Bitcoins, it will destroy Bitcoin. Unless, of course, the protocol gets an update long before this scenario becomes a reality (in the distant future).

P.S. Incidentally, I've recently been in real life discussing the merits of a "Certificate of Good Conduct" which many governments issue to employers and educational institutions to prove that applicants are who they say they are, and have no past (serious) criminal records. You could call it a "vouch" from a government on a person's identity and good behaviour, but it seemingly provides no guarantees of future behaviour. Actually, it's a "vouch" of not getting caught in any of the crimes they may or may not have committed. That's a subtle difference.

Is this what you're looking for? For P2SH-P2WPKH addresses (Addresses starting with "3")Just add p2wpkh-p2sh: directly in front of your private key. For example p2wpkh-p2sh:5BitcoinPrivateKey This should generate the corresponding p2wpkh-p2sh bitcoin address. For P2WPKH addresses (Bech32, starting with 'bc1')This time we'll add p2wpkh: in front of the private key. For example This should generate the corresponding Bech32 address

I understand senior members are here to protect the community from being taken advantage of but I can assure everyone that this is not the case in my instance. Then why do you need a 15 LTC loan? If you could do what you claim you can, you wouldn't need a loan. Tell me: how much money did you lose at Stake while wagering $99,950,265.16? I'm hoping that people look back on some of these comments in the future and can laugh at the drama. I've seen it all, and it never ends with laughs.

That's cute. You earned $134,648 the day before you needed a loan? OP wagers heavy, on favourable deposit conditions offered to him at casinos thanks to his membership levels. Basic knowledge about casinos should be that their conditions are never "favourable" to the player. The entire system is designed to make the casino rich. This is just an addicted gambler preying on the greed of gullible people. I am still looking to develop a larger base of investors. "Investors" in a "business" that's designed to make you lose money? Lol. This looks like a classic Martingale: OP will make profit until it fails, and in that case someone else's money takes the hit. If his "system" would work, he'd be rich enough to gamble with his own money.

Also in the picture, Royse was voted for craft master and as well as an Anti hero. Is this not a gross contradiction by Shasan? Let's read the descriptions: | Craft Master | The award is presented to those who sincerely love their craft, whether it is a professional activity or a hobby.
We tend to think that this award is best suited to the most significant figure among collectors, managers, escrows, designers or users who are so passionate about sports and p2p that they motivate others to bets solely in BTC.

| | Antihero | He never wanted to be a villain, but he had to accept the rules of the game in which he “plays black” [no prizes].

I have a hard time matching both descriptions to one person.

All I'm really asking is for a button that would collectively that tells you what went on with your account while you're away, at least without having to check on your bot-integrated telegram and risk getting your identity stolen and used for scams especially if you're a prominent figure here, or through emails which pose their own sets of risks as well. It sounds like you're looking for my notification bot: no email, no Telegram, Tor friendly, no add-ons, no browser-integration, just a static web page that gets updated every 6 minutes. people are literally able to code Doom on pregnancy tests I'l be impressed if they can get Bitcointalk notifications on said pregnancy test I looked it up: he swapped the screen and controller, and added a keyboard. That's not playing Doom on a pregnancy test, that's installing a small Doom device inside a pregnancy test. With the same hardware you could claim you installed Doom on a lighter or a piece of wood.
