If ETH had crashed to 10$, they would not be devaluing pre-ico investment because they would not have been able to cover the loss. Basically investing with pre-ico money. Don't be surprised if by changing the terms & conditions of this sale/contribution/schlogginfitz or whatever we are calling it to stay out of legal trouble bites you in the ass down the road.

I tried to help you all save your money when I told you Trust became scamstatus with what they pulled with their ICO ( basing value on time of contribution ). Especially considering they decided to pull this super shady tactic, 20 days after the ICO started.
To clarify, I invested 20 ETH on March 1st. WeTrust, announced 20 days later, at the EXACT PEAK of ETH during the ICO, that they would be basing contributions based on the time actual contribution ***SCAM ALERT***
Huge red flag for you all right there, don't let WeTrust even try to justify why this is okay in any way. This is NOT OKAY because WeTrust is basically saying they had the money to cover all contributions had ETH crashe. Or they are saying, they are more than willing to take all profit ETH generates and accept no risk of loss if ETH crashes.
THERE IS NO ALTERNATIVE. WETRUST KNEW THEY WOULD TAKE ALL PROFIT WITH NO RISK OF LOSS.
NONE.
IF ETH CRASHED, YOUR USD CONTRIBUTION WOULD BE ZILCH, NOT BASED ON TIME OF VALUE.
Enjoy your shitcoin. Maybe one day you will see a nice pump, but given the lack of history and unknown variables when assessing the team and project as a whole, I wouldn't get your hopes up. I can promise you there are better opportunities out there given the risk / reward of this untrustworthy team. Their support team is also a joke, using phrases such as "sorry you feel this way" when emailing them, instead of addressing these questions with a logical and CONCISE answer.

How will ETHBits be valuing contributions? Will it be based on USD at time of contribution, like the WeTrust team just pulled?

I have been talking to many other early investors and they are considering legal action as well. WeTrust was not selling tokens immediately for USD, and did not inform the investors their investments would be valued as such until March 20th, well past the initial investment phase.
The worst thing is we were trying to be early supporters and really build momentum for WeTrust. Without the early investors, there would not have been later investors. That's called traction. I expect to see my ETH refunded.
I can tell you this much, regardless of the outcome, you have done a great deal of damage to all ICO's going forward. Nobody is going to feel safe being an early supporter knowing ETH is the future and has nowhere to go but up. You knew that, that's why you made that contribution scheme, because again, there was no risk of loss to you, had ETH crashed to $1, all losses would have been put back on the investors.
if ethereum would have crashed to $1 chances are they would have not met there minimum threashold to continue on with this project and funds would have been refunded but luckily that didnt happen and now this awesome project is in full stride! The BTC alone would have covered the minimum. |

Looking over the details, it appears anybody who invested ETH early actually got screwed hard in this deal since they are paying out TRST based on value @ time of contribution. I.E at time of contribution it was a 30% bonus to the base eth value of 0.014. However, if you would have waited a week, your base ETH value would have been more than double this, and so would your TRST tokens. Early investors got rekt.

I wouldn't be surprised if this crowd fund raised over $10 millions within the end date.People are most likely happy to change their investment from one ICO to another,and we have seen several ico that has been finished.So probably wetrust is their next choice?
It's not possible mathematically the maximum fund cap is $7.3 Million. I have high expectation from this project it will be profitable to invest into this in future this will do amazing job for them. Technically it is, if ETH skyrockets to say, 100 USD, that would put them over. |
