121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT TYPE OF CRYPTO INVESTOR ARE YOU? on: August 19, 2020, 10:41:14 AM
There are different types of investors with varying priorities goals, habits, and tolerance of risk. Read this thread to know the type of crypto investor you are.

1. Newbie: In any industry you must first be a newbie before you become a pro. To get started with crypto you need a little capital to start. This group include those with a little or no knowledge about the crypto industry but eager to seek to diversify their investments into new high risk assets that offer a good return

2. Crypto Enthusiast: Like a newbie, the crypto enthusiast joined the market not long ago and still doesnt have enough knowledge about the crypto industry although he has built a diversified portfolio which he checks their performance everyday.

3. Hodler: They are people who will rather hold any crypto no matter the ups and down they believe one day it will get to their desired price

4. Early Adopter: The early adopter are people who got into bitcoin when it was less than $100 about some few years ago. At that time everyone thought bitcoin was a scam but they took the courage to buy some because they believed in the technology.

5. Professional Trader: These guys have seen crypto trading as a part time or full time job. They dont have concern with holding cryptos for a long time. Their main and only goal is short term profits.

What type of investor are you? Im definitely an HODLER

I would still call myself a newbie. Afterall ive never went out of my way to invest with my real money to buy coins, i got my coins from a project that was just introduced to me by a friend. Im still trying to get a feel of this trading business.
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency is all about Hodling. on: August 19, 2020, 03:01:36 AM
The truth about crypto currency is that it is more about hodling, technically, crypto is hodling.
Most people that has been able to take profit from crypto currency trade or investment are those that have mastered the act of hodling.

Knowing when to hodl, when not to hodl is an important skill you need.

Knowing when or when not to trade is the key to every crypto. Hoarding coins and hoping it would take value without knowing the ins and outs of the market will not do you good. Hoarding without the lack of experience may as well be the reason of investment loss.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get moved by fake good news on: August 19, 2020, 01:32:12 AM
You are browsing through Twitter or telegram and you come in contact with news like this '𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙨𝙤 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝  Mr George Anderson ịt has been a life changing experience and a God sent to humanity 𝙞𝙣𝙗𝙤𝙭 𝙝im 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙖 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚'
Join link???

When ever you come across such it's a total scam, it's never real to begin with, it's just a fake good news to lure you into a trap, do not bother to read

The fact is people who make it big aren't always ready to share news about how they do it

I agree. If i see something like this ill just look up the thing theyre talking about but i dont click links. Also when investing i tend to just give attention to coins and projects my real friends refer to me and not just from some rando on the internet.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will Grow? on: August 18, 2020, 08:57:27 AM
Hey.

I researched very much in the net. I read numerous comments in the blogs. I saw to much messages in the telegram groups. and discord forums

and I found that most of the people really don't know why they chose their coin/token. just they know their coin is good and the future is belongs to them.

The Question Is: Why You Think That Your Coin/Token Will grow? (based on what?)

Some of us got our coins on projects being offered online. And these projects we get into often offer coins that dont have or has less value at that time. Eventually on group chats that i get into i get to learn more about these coins and the projects that they back into. What really catches my interest is when these projects seem like they offer achievable goals.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Think before joining any campaign on: August 18, 2020, 07:12:25 AM
I came across AZBI network bounty few days back and I bookmark the page so I can join later and that will be my first bounty on this forum but I noticed a lie about the project, below is the link to the project

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5243303.0

It's said they are listed on the bounty thread but after going to the exchange where thy claimed to have listed (UNISWAP) I can't find any token called AZBI on the exchange platform, even the second listed exchange called Bamboorelay has no single volume at all.

To me this is a very poor bounty project, they used uniswap name to deceive those who are too quick or haste to make money, there is no demand for this token, it's a dead end, I'm glad I spend my time doing few digs if not I would have joined the campaign.

A good lesson learnt here

Yeah some bounties are really like this thats why you have to conduct more research on these bounties. People still want to cash on dead ends to make money, and its just a shame for people who fell for it.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for legitimate airdrop / giveaway on: August 17, 2020, 05:58:09 AM
I have also been looking for legitimate airdrops and bounty projects, apparently you can search them in google i just forget the name where to. Also its kinda hard to distinguish legitimate ones from the other. Ill be keeping my eye on this thread.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what new coins are promising? on: August 16, 2020, 04:11:04 AM
I would say you should try looking into DOS. its value raised quite drastically these past few days. Its market cap isnt too high either so more room for growing i think. Try to do some research on it more tho, im also still looking into it. A lot of people missed it, ive only seen it once before it sky rocketed.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: August 16, 2020, 03:31:11 AM
I can answer this. This happened to our place before, an obvious scam and people are still throwing themselves into it. The return they were promising is crazy impossible for a regular business to give, it was obvious from a mile away that it was a scam. But even so people were posting things like "willing to be scammed" on this investment schemes. What i got from this is that it doesnt matter if it is as obvious as day, the crazy amount of return will always be shinier than the plaque that says "This is a scam."
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best performing "old" coins on the market? on: August 16, 2020, 02:58:23 AM
Oh i think Etherium is doing well. Its also been on the rise lately. I kinda wished i placed more money on it than just for gas. I believe its one of the most stable coins that can be trusted enough to place transactions in. Its also gained a lot of grounds these past few years.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will "De-Fi" replace traditional banking in the future? on: August 15, 2020, 12:30:35 PM
Hopefully. I mean if things go smoothly i dont see why not. If this DeFi hype can stand up to the expectations of those who hype it, it can achieve that if it aims to. It is a possibility if they aim to get more people involved.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If someone mistakenly sent you 1 ETH, what would you do? on: August 15, 2020, 07:01:45 AM
Id say thanks to what force in the universe gave that to my wallet really. I dont want to get into sorts of trouble, because what if its just another form of scam that finds root in your honesty. Ill just leave the coin be in my wallet thank you.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: August 15, 2020, 02:09:48 AM
I used to have 14 ethereum but I got caught in the web of FOMO and I lost over 10 ethereum because the project I invested the ethereum on have dropped marginally, is this the end of the road for me? Or I still have hope? How can I recover?

That is quite a loss you got there. But im sure that most of the traders and investors out there have experienced the same thing you did. Dont lose hope, losing will always be a part of a gamble. Youll find the right project for you soon and you will get past this. More luck to you!
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are buying when the price is going up and not when it is down on: August 14, 2020, 10:58:05 PM
I notice that when there the price is going up so many people are joining the train and they also buy because the price is going up and they are going to make a profit, why people are not buying when it is down when the price will eventually go up and they can make a lot of profit.  Huh

Maybe theyve never heard of the coin before it was starting to raise its value. Some people tend to buy when it is shooting up because of panic, the thought that maybe if they still buy now it would continue to go up. But for me personally, i wouldnt buy a coin when its going up
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Despite Many Participants, You Can Still Get Huge Rewards In Bounty. on: August 14, 2020, 01:49:48 PM
Many Bounty Hunters Are Increasing Daily On A Regular Basis Thereby Causing Many Hunters Feels Reluctant Of Paticipating In Nowaday Bounties Because Of Low And Unappreciated Rewards. Campaigns Managed By Bounty Detective Seems To Be Stressful Because Of Its Long Duration Of 12 Weeks And At The End Hunters Still Getting Poor Rewards Of $5, Lol. 😂

I Have Observed So Many Times That Article And Video Campaigns Have Less Participants While Hunters Feels It's Much Stressful And Brainstorming. Bounty Hunting Is All About Sacrificing Time, Energy, Data And Electricity. Now For You To Be A Good Hunter With High Rewards, You Have To Participate In Article And Video Campaigns Only, For Lower Ranks On Forum And Sometimes Signature Campaigns For Higher Ranks, Meanwhile Participating In Social Media Campaigns Gives Less Reward Because Of Many Participants. Try This And You Gonna Appreciate Me.

I actually stopped caring about things like thered be too much participant that would join the project im working on eventually. I just get as much work as i can i guess and hope id get a good one. But sure ill take your advice and look into it.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is FORSAGE a Ponzi scheme? on: August 14, 2020, 04:06:49 AM
Is FORSAGE a Ponzi scheme? Buying ethereum to keep and buying ethereum to invest in forsage, which is better?
I believe that it is a Ponzi scheme and I would recommend to keep away from those type of investment.
It is better to buy and keep ETH than to invest in Forsage also try other alt-coin and hold them for a bit and when the price goes up decide on yourself if you would still hold them or just take the profit.

Thank you for this. I was actually thinking that Forsage is another ponzi, glad to find people who believe the same thing. People need to be more mindful of these new projects and not just jump at the next new thing.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Gas transactions price is about to hit 300 on: August 13, 2020, 03:14:31 PM
I havent been doing any transactions lately and have just noticed the raise in price. Theyre charging way too much for gas, i dont think this will be good for ETH entirely. They might loose some investors if this continues.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non DeFi projects starts going DeFi on: August 13, 2020, 12:11:52 PM
Be suspicious of any projects that just decide to implement DeFi all of a sudden when DeFi wasn't implemented in the project's features from the beginning, this is nothing but a way to take advantage of DeFi Hypes going on nowadays, if you are a deep crypto fan like myself you should be seeing few old projects that aren't DeFi from birth and start talking about implementing DeFi feature, I'm 100% against this act as it's unclean and dangerous

I feel like these projects that are switching to DeFi is resorting to this really dirty tactic of misleading future investors. DeFi is hitting the mainstream too hard and these people are just jumping at the oppurtunity to take advantage of newbies.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS on: August 13, 2020, 10:26:28 AM
Im actually the type to make sure ive made profit. Like if i see that ive reached a significant amount of profit im targetting, then i sell my coins. Its hard to count on things like what if the value gets higher but then again it gets lower and you missed your chance to profit. I say set a line of when to stop, dont cling on to your coins too much.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: August 12, 2020, 03:23:53 PM
This is true enough to all the people thats in the trading community. Its hard to stay in this industry if you dont understand that the long wait is the real game. Waiting for coins from your projects to have value and waiting for your coins to raise in value, its hard to maintain if youre not patient enough.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot project: Themis (MIS) on: August 12, 2020, 02:27:44 PM
