1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Windows 10 1709, AMD Drivers, and Afterburner on: February 16, 2018, 11:57:34 AM
I've seen several people out there indicate they are running this W10 build and these same drivers on rigs with success. You can set temperature, fan control and also set the overclock, powerlimit and voltages directly in the miner command line or config file.

NOTE:
This driver is not intended for use on AMD Radeon products running in Apple Boot Camp platforms. Users of these platforms should contact their system manufacturer for driver support.

When installing Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 17.12.2 for the Windows® operating system, the user must be logged on as Administrator, or have Administrator rights to complete the installation of Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 17.12.2.

Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition 17.12.2 requires Windows 7 Service Pack 1 to be installed.

I recently decided to switch back to SHA256 mining. The profits are worse on the scrypt side. Also nothing shipping is over 500MH.I would highly recommend not investing into scrypt mining these days!

Well the interesting thing about this RPG Game is that there won't be any grinding to level up skills, or other attributes... Players will earn different Ranking Levels from 1 - 99 based on How many Coins they Collect (as collecting coins is the main objective) , which is done in 1 of 3 ways... from either hunting enemy monsters they may drop coins sometimes, defeating other players in combat, or simply exploring and finding the coins before other players do.

This is kinda of New Idea I think Mixing some Action-RPG Combat Elements with a Casual, but Competitive Gameplay Objective of Player Competing to Collect the Most Coins through Completing Several different Tasks. Players with the Highest Level Represents their Ranking on the Leaderboard based on Coins Collected, so the Higher Up you go the More Enemies you'll make as More Player will want to slow you down, Competing for the Highest Level and Ranking. Regarding the actual Combat, there will be Basic Attacks, Magic Attack, Healing, and Probably a Sprint/Run Away Ability to Escape from Battle into Safe Zones.

Ofcoarse the Game can grow and probably go in any direction with more traditional RPG features, but i'm trying something different...

Trying to Aim at the Casual Gaming Market, Mixing some different elements, and Driving Traffic though Contests that will Reward Player with Bitcoins (exchanged for real cash)

(*this is especially targeted at a growing market of those who happen to be big fans of the latest buzz about the #1 Cryptocurrency "Bitcoin")

Blockchain.info uses a special system that doesn't involve Python (as far as we know), they're most likely using a modified node that notifies them of transactions.

The easy way

Just use Blockchain.info's transaction notification service. Their web sockets api lets anyone subscribe to any bitcoin address
The hard way

If you want to listen to all latest transactions, and not to addresses you own, you're going to need more in depth control. Otherwise use Bitcoind and its wallet notify parameter. Check out PyNode, a Bitcoin node implementation in Python.

Thanks
