NEW - President of El Salvador: Tourism to our country has recovered mostly because of Bitcoin and surf 🇸🇻.

Source: https://twitter.com/BitcoinMagazine/status/1555982883357081602
What can you take from this news?
If I personally see that the President of El Salvador is really sure and likes Bitcoin so that whatever he does there will always be a Bitcoin connection in it, including what is in the news. I even imagine that El Salvador will get better development with Bitcoin in the future if the President of El Salvador still adopts Bitcoin continuously.
1622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Bitcoin Disappointed You ? on: August 07, 2022, 09:17:29 AM
The bitcoin journey cycle has provided a lot of insight, from 2017 to 2021 bitcoin has reached its highest price, until it corrected again this year, if you look at a cycle like this, probably in the next four or five years, going back to 2017, where it is true and finds ATH in the next few years, but it's hard to say exactly in what year bitcoin will hit a higher price, but likely five or four annual phases
Do you know how much Bitcoin will cost at the end of 2017?
Now if you say in the next four or five years, going back to 2017, then now this is not much different from 2017 if you only look at Bitcoin at the price.
Because the all-time high ATH still has to be said in 2021 which means only in the last year even though Bitcoin is still possible to create even higher ATH in another year or the following year. But I have to say that last year was the best year for Bitcoin prices at an all-time high.

1623  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin : A digital currency or a computer program? on: August 07, 2022, 09:02:26 AM
Does anyone think Bitcoin first as a digital currency or a computer program?
I never thought like that in the past and also now although every digital product that cannot be touched directly with bare hands is usually made through a computer system.

Quote
First of all, Bitcoin is really a computer program. Yes, a computer program that allows machines all over the world to share a secure file.

Then, how did Bitcoin come to be known as digital currency? You execute the program at that point. It will establish a connection with other computers that are using this program, and they will begin sharing a file with you. New bitcoins are created, or mined, when computers on the network process and verify transactions.

All of these transactions rely on cryptography to send and receive digital output. These outputs are merely holding structures for various bitcoin amounts. Because of this, a universal electronic payment system—what we now refer to as "digital currency"—is created.
But for now almost everything new that is related to financial matters or digital money is always computer related and it is a worthy thing to make to make it easier for everyone when they want to send some money. So I think that Bitcoin was created to make it easier for everyone when transacting with each other with a predetermined network and it would not be wrong to continue to be developed in this modern era.
1624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Early Adopters rich? on: August 06, 2022, 09:09:51 AM
Those of them who sold early i think they are not rich.
That doesn't mean they can't get rich from other sources.
But those who held till now yes i think they are rich.
And i think any still adopting now is still not late as Bitcoin hasn't really achieve all that it can.
If you look at the deadline, those who have bought Bitcoin in 2018 and sold it in 2021, then they are rich people, but for those who bought at the highest price in 2021, now they are already poor if they let go of the assets they have bought. last year. So it's not just about how long one holds Bitcoin, but how smart one is at taking advantage of the moment in the market. For example like now, if someone buys Bitcoin at a price of $17K - $18K, then now they already have a profit even when they haven't sold it.
1625  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC make a new high in 2022? If not then what will be peak point? on: August 06, 2022, 08:40:53 AM
I still believe that Bitcoin can reach the point of $50K by the end of this year even though it may not happen because someone's belief in one's heart will not always be true and happens in the market, but I am still optimistic and believe that Bitcoin can increase even more in the year this although I'm a little hesitant to see Bitcoin above $50K because that's too high for Bitcoin to reach anytime soon.
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 06, 2022, 08:10:46 AM
Another advantage of the Barcelona squad is that most of the current players are players who have a high desire to strengthen the team. This can be a motivation in itself for them to do their best. Because if players have a high desire to defend the team, usually they will perform optimally in every match.
And another thing is the Barcelona coach who is still very optimistic in providing the best strategy for the team by training all players including new players so that seriousness is what makes the players very motivated so that they have the spirit to bring the Barcelona team to the top of the championship.
I see the strength of Barcelona at this time is much better than before and also from several teams in La Liga.
1627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 06, 2022, 08:06:19 AM
Tottenham will clearly be in control in this match. not mean to belittle Southampton but with Tottenham's continued signings in Windows Transfers this time it's clear Tottenham will be the favourites, not to mention now it looks like Kane has found his form after at the start of last season he didn't look good enough but now I still feel Son and Kane will start to craze at the start of this season.
I think so because it is clear that Son and Kane have started to have the ability to play in their current team so that Tottenham will dominate more in the game with Southampton, although it is not a form to be underestimated, but everyone must also see how the ability a Tottenham team that over time has looked to improve at this point.
1628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 06, 2022, 07:57:52 AM
Jorge Lorenzo is still the record holder champion in a row Silverstone circuit 2011,2012 and 2013, and so far not yet a racer who can break his domination. the last racer is Quartararo in 2021, but for this year, can he try to win in a row? because bad weather is always an obstacle in the Silverstone circuit, Quartararo always has a problem with a rainy and wet track, so when this happens, I believe we can get a new winner, and he can't still break Jorge Lorenzo's domination.
There seems to be a bit of confusion over the data you say. While the retired Jorge Lorenzo has won back-to-back wins at Silverstone since the circuit was used by MotoGP in 2010, Jorge Lorenzo has only won successively in 2012 and 2013, meaning Jorge Lorenzo has only won twice in a row. of the three wins he had at Silverstone. Meanwhile, the winner of the MotoGP Race in 2011 was Casey Stoner, who at that time was in the Repsol Honda team.
I say this because I refer to the data attached to the motorplus-online.com website.

1629  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your expectation on: August 04, 2022, 12:13:51 PM
Right. I'm also surprised that there isn't much news about Central Africa having officially adopted bitcoin as a legal tender. Maybe because Central Africa uses the Franc currency so the news is not as big as El Salvador because the currency of the country of El Salvador is the dollar so when they adopted bitcoin as a legal tender it made headlines in the world. This is my guess.
I was also a little surprised and didn't expect that Central Africa had adopted Bitcoin for legal payments and it should be a scene because there aren't many rich countries in this part of Central Africa. And as I read on the investor.id site it says that the Central African Republic is the second country to officially adopt Bitcoin for legal payments after El Salvador. That's really amazing in my opinion.

If you take a loan at the bank for $100.000, you pay it back in 25-30 Years. If you go to the bank and steal $100.000 then after 4 years they release you from Prison and you are free. Follow me for more Financial Advice 🤣
That's a very good idea, but not for me. Because I even feel confused by what you are saying because I have never made a loan to any bank even though I am one of the customers of many banks in my country. So it seems I don't need to follow you for financial advice because for now I still don't need a lot of money all of a sudden. Grin Grin
1631  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we hodling BTC or we are hodling Fiat?? on: August 04, 2022, 11:24:56 AM
Although bitcoin's performance continues to improve but in my country cryptocurrencies cannot be used for direct transactions, this is what makes the influence of fiat still very strong, for me bitcoin is an alternative to payment and also an investment so using both is of course a better option.
This is of course still very common to happen because everyone also knows that most countries in the world still rely on fiat to make transactions even though the state does not prohibit Bitcoin to be brought into trade, investment and also for storage. And I exclude countries like El Salvador in this case because the rules and adoption of that country are a little different from most other countries that still rely on fiat.
1632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: August 04, 2022, 11:16:36 AM
Yes you can say that. Because last season Atletico Madrid and Barcelona stumbled several times and had to slowly get up. But the difference is that Barcelona can bounce back faster than Atletico Madrid. Especially now that they have overhauled the squad to be even better. I saw Atlético Madrid one step behind Barcelona's moves.
That's clearly true and even Barcelona's strength is now almost level with Real Madrid so it's clear that Barcelona's development is much better when compared to Atlético Madrid's strength at this time. And I believe that Barcelona will be challengers for the title again in La Liga because they have the potential to win again in La Liga next season with their best strategy and steps.
1633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: August 04, 2022, 10:40:52 AM
The first week I saw no potentially hot matches, because the majority of the matches did not meet rivals in the English Premier League. So in this first week we will see how the teams try to find their game and also for the players who have just joined the Premier League will adapt to the style of play of the Premier League.
If it's still in pre-season I don't think there is a need for a game that is too hot although that can also be good for the team and rivals in general, but when there is no game too hot, any Premier League team that has new players will also find it easier to adjust in the team when they are in a match. So it can also be very good for the adaptation of new players in the Premier League.
1634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 04, 2022, 10:20:46 AM
Yes, much fiercer but not popular as MotoGP. I don't see Also WBSK results on top google which means they need hard work to promote. About the race on Ceko, I just saw it at a glance on my local tv, maybe because I don't know much about the racer, so I ignore it. I just hear Toprak from you, and I a bit know about Alvaro Bautista where was on MotoGP with the Ducati team in 2018. In WBSK Bautista is a bit have achievement than Motogp, but still didn't yet a champion between 2019-2021. so, will he get in 2022?
For this year, Alvaro Bautista has the potential to win the WSBK world champion because considering the number of points he has increased and he is still the leader of the temporary standings until now. But two other riders such as Jonathan Rea from Kawasaki who used to be world champion in WSBK and Toprak from Yamaha who as defending champion continued to put pressure on Alvaro Bautista in every race. So that Alvaro Bautista still needs to be consistent in each of the remaining races, if I'm not mistaken, the rest of the races in WSBK are 6 more times if Indonesia and Australia held it this year.
1635  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: August 03, 2022, 09:59:32 AM
Sri Lanka experienced a sad crisis, many Sri Lankan people chose to leave the country and head to Australia or the country that they thought could provide a better life, of course a large country must be actively involved to resolve the crisis in Sri Lanka because if left unchecked it will experience a humanitarian crisis worse.
It is very natural for them (Sri lankans) to flee from their country to other countries in order to survive because they are not only fighting hunger, but also struggling to stay alive and still want to enjoy this beautiful world.

Sir Lanka will bounce back.
They are strong people and they have great natural resources this is the tough time - but they will come out of this trouble very soon.
Large natural resources will not guarantee a country can prosper well if there are no humans or citizens who are able to manage each of these natural resources.
Because natural resources will be useful when there are humans who also have the resources to manage them properly because human resources are also very important to manage existing natural resources.

We hope so, they are used to difficult things, ranging from war, food crisis, economy and so on, but they can rise up, but for now they really need international help, the first thing that is easy to do is supply oil to make the economy return to normal .
It is still possible for them to get up, but not quickly because for now they need time to get back up and also need food assistance, and others to be able to run a temporary life.
Even though they are used to hardships, but if the life they feel is still too painful, it will also make it difficult for them to realize economic revival and life in their country.
1636  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID had widened the gap between world's richest and poorest on: August 03, 2022, 09:37:47 AM
This is a fact when a Covid occurs, many people become poor, many unemployment but rich people who have strong capital can survive and even increase wealth, when there is a high economic gap, the role of the state is needed by providing capital assistance or subsidies to people in need.
I think every government from all countries is also handling the Covid problem which has penetrated and occurred in almost all countries until it is finished. So there is nothing more to discuss about Covid but rather about economic issues that may always be different in each country. So if you only look at the rich and the poor, then look at the abilities of each of them which makes a person poor is the wrong way of thinking and lazy to work.
1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 03, 2022, 09:21:01 AM
They (Erik and Man United) really hope that De Jong will move to Manchester United, just look at all that Manchester United has to offer in order to convince De Jong to move to Manchester United. But I wonder why De Jong didn't want to accept an offer from Manchester United even though Erik was his coach when he was still at Ajax. whether De jong looking for a club that plays in the champions league like Chelsea and bayern munich. barcelona will tempt bernado silva from manchester city and i think manchester city can take this opportunity to tempt De jong, but is Pep interested in this dutch midfielder.
It is not yet known whether Pep is interested in the Dutch midfielder or not, because so far what has been circulating in the news is about two clubs who are hunting for players like Manchester United and Chelsea. But on the one hand De Jong still hasn't given a clear direction for which club he likes and I think that De Jong still has a commitment to stay with Barcelona even though Barcelona players are already overstretched.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 03, 2022, 09:12:24 AM
Actually they were doubted even before stepping out of the knockout phase, many of them did think that Real Madrid would be destroyed in the Champions League last season. That's because the opponents they face are strong teams who are favourites. But they managed to silence it all, even though they struggled in the game, but they were able to finish it well.
I also can't understand that when Real Madrid is able to finish every match well and win the Champions League, it's very clear that Real Madrid is being made difficult by all of their opponents. But I don't know what spirit the Real Madrid players have that they are able to work together so well in every game and win the trophy in the end.
1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: August 03, 2022, 09:06:13 AM
Yes, there is no doubt that there is always a country that is the biggest favorite. However, usually in the World Cup, the favorite countries can't even perform optimally and have to be knocked out in the knockout phase, some of them even have to go home in the group phase. Not infrequently also the country that is the defending champion even destroyed in the group standings.
That is what makes the world cup unique because it is always more difficult to guess which country will survive and take the world cup until the final phase.
Indeed there are some strong countries and are favorited by many fans now, but to be able to become world champion is not on how many people favor a particular country, but on the consistency of the players in terms of winning every game until the end.
1640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: August 01, 2022, 08:09:22 AM
Currently the WSBK race is much fiercer than MotoGP although there is a slight difference in the number of points in the temporary standings after the WSBK race in the Czech Republic yesterday.
I see that Toprak has started to reduce the points gap with Rea and Bautista after winning the SP Race and Race 2, while at the time of Superpole and Race 1, Toprak was only able to finish second and now Toprak is only 38 points away from Bautista as the leader of the standings and 7 points from Rea is in second place in the standings.
