Espanyol are having a tough time against Valencia right now. They are 2-1 behind at the moment. Normally Espanyol already don't have a squad full of great players.

But they have still been doing really good for a long time. They are at the 5th position you know and ahead of some stronger opponents in the standings.

But recently things aren't going well as they have lost lots of points. Together with this one it will be 4 games...

After Guardiola's rotation preference I was wondering how things were going to be. But they managed to get the 2-0 lead in the first half already. Finding the first goal early helped them a lot about opening the lock quickly.

Otherwise maybe things might have been really difficult.  Tongue  Even now I can't say this is a very impressive performance. The xG isn't even 1.00 now. Doku and Haaland have also entered the game so maybe the gap could get bigger in the last 10 minutes.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: Today at 04:30:52 PM
It's almost happening again today, Bayern munich is about to make some people's tickets go south. In the champions league there was so many complaints about Bayern munich even though they won that match but the lack of goals was the major problem and today again they are playing draw with Augsburg 1-1 with less than ten minutes to full time. A draw will send so many tickets that has Bayern munich in it to the thrash can.

And things got even worse for Bayern Munich! They lost the game by 1-2 at home... I'm sorry for people who bet on their win. Probably so many of them preferred even at least -1.5 handicap.

Sometimes unexpected events happen. Especially in times of the Champions League games. I didn't see a big rotation either but probably the fatigue caused this to happen. This was their first loss in the Bundesliga this season after leaving 19 rounds behind.

Am I the only one who's noticing that PSG are struggling to be that dominating club they used to be as of last season because I watched their game against Auxerre and you could see them struggling to get a goal, wasting chances that normally they should have been clinical about. As it stands they are on top temporarily till Lens play their game and I just hope that they win so they can push PSG down. It's being a while since we heard of another club taking first place other than PSG so I feel this is a welcome competition.

No you aren't the only one man. Most people must be aware of it already after watching many of their games. They aren't as dominant as previous years in the Ligue 1 this year.

The PSG we know would destroy Auxerre easily for example. But only a 1-0 win was what we saw. They seemed dominant in game but it didn't reflect on the score.

As the power gap with others is too much they would win the league anyway. But it won't be as satisfying as before for the fans.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: Today at 09:44:16 AM
What a destruction that was by Inter though! But I was really nervous when I saw them 2-0 behind at first. It was way too extra for Pisa to score 2 goals out of 0.13 xG in the first 20 minutes.  Tongue

However Inter came back by making it 3-2 already in the first half. And the remaining part was just a great show... Chivu preferred some rotation in this game and it was logical after a tough Arsenal matchup.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: Today at 09:34:32 AM
I have been coming across some speculations or should I say rumor rather about Cole Palmer saying he's finding it difficult to adapt to London that he wants to go back to Manchester so he could be close to his family, this can only mean he's trying to push a move out of the Stanford bridge and if that is really the fact then I guess Manchester United is his next dream team as he has always been a Manchester United fans from day one and let's now imagine he moves to Manchester United, mehn it's gonna be a big plus to the Manchester United team no doubt.

It is really circulating in the rumours recently. If Chelsea loses him for this reason they would lose lots of power... I know Palmer is still not in his best shape now but you know he is their biggest star anyway.

Seeing him at Manchester United would be interesting. Will Bruno Fernandes stay for another year at the same time I wonder?  Huh

Trent isn't forced for a move out actually yeah. But they say he is intending to leave Real Madrid after seeing promises not being kept. He shouldn't have left Liverpool in the first place in my opinion.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2025/2026 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: January 23, 2026, 05:04:44 PM
How sure are you that Manchester city will be able to win wolves? Right now I don’t have confidence in Manchester city even if they are playing against a weaker team am not expecting much from them. Who believes Manchester city will be losing their last champions league match, but they disappointed everyone and they lost.

Wolves is currently at the bottom of the table, they are currently in relegation zone, and there is no way they going to avoid relegation this season, but we all saw how they surprised us against Manchester United, they played draw against Manchester United, so am not so confident that Manchester city will be winning the match.

I can't be completely confident about them either. I just think like it could be an opportunity. On the other side, I know Wolves can really be a pain for even big teams this season.

Even though they are at the last position of the standings they can still make big difficulties. Like they did against Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United recently...

Manchester City's biggest weakness will be the defense. Like every important defender is injured now.
8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 23, 2026, 04:57:30 PM
Leverkusen host Bremen tomorrow. A good opportunity to end the losing streak in the Bundesliga for them. In the beginning of the season they got a 3-3 draw against each other.

I assume this time Leverkusen wouldn't mess up. But I still can't trust them highly though so won't bet on their win. They lost to Olympiacos in their most recent game in the Champions League too.  Sad

Unfortunately, AS Monaco isn't very consistent. They're improving but their performances aren't consistent yet.
He still has a lot of work to do, but in my opinion, the path to success is clear.
Is clear that they can improve and climb up to the European cup zone.

They are improving? In what way? They lost their last 4 games in the Ligue 1. Right after that they got demolished by Real Madrid 6-1. I don't see any improvement here...

Monaco are just a hopeless case for this season. Let's accept that fact first. I highly doubt they will join any European tournament next season.

They are already 8 points behind the 6th-placed team in the league now.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 23, 2026, 09:58:51 AM
The new game week is starting with an Inter - Pisa game. There isn't much to talk about it though. It should be very easy technically. I expect a win by at least 2-goal gap.

So they should be keeping their lead... Meanwhile their closest rivals for the title are both about to play really tough games on the same weekend. I think at least one of Milan and Napoli will lose points. I won't be surprised if both of them do.  Tongue
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2026 NBA Season on: January 23, 2026, 09:48:22 AM
Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Lakers and achieved their 20th win of the season. The Clippers dominated the game from start to finish.
If they continue in this form, I think they will qualify for the Play-ins.
There are still many games to go.
Kawhi Leonard played his first game after injury and contributed to the victory with 24 points.

For the Lakers, LeBron and Luka contributed well in terms of scoring, but without another teammate to support them, the loss was inevitable.

Clippers have been on an insane run since late December. They lost only 3 times in their last 17 games. This is really an incredible performance by them!

In this game against Lakers, they absolutely deserved the win. Zubac and Kawhi had a really nice game. I can't say the same about Harden because of missing so many shots.

At Lakers the thing I didn't like was their three pointer effort. 4/17 by Luka - LeBron combined.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26 on: January 23, 2026, 09:38:24 AM
I would like to take some risk in the La Liga this week...

- BTTS for Villarreal - Real Madrid @1.46
- Atletico Madrid to win @1.32
- Barcelona to win by -2.5 handicap @1.79

Total odds: 3.45

What about a multi like this?  Roll Eyes  I know the risk level is quite high. But my choices are quite likely to happen as well. Villarreal can score against Real Madrid in my opinion. Atletico Madrid should also be winning that Mallorca game home. Barcelona to win by at least a 3-goal gap might be a bigger risk there. But Real Oviedo are like the worst team in the league now. I think it is worth taking the risk.

Good news for Fenerbahçe fans here! They are finally about to get rid of this useless En-Nesyri. He has harmed the team more than the times he has been beneficial for it so far. I couldn't count the number of goal opportunities he has wasted.

Even his magical headers were gone. You know how bad he is at using his feet to score goals as well. In this situation there is no reason to keep him at the team. They should have sold him already when they got a big offer from Saudi Arabia in the first place.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2025/2026 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: January 21, 2026, 04:57:48 PM
I see Manchester City facing Wolves home this weekend. I assume it would finally be the game in which they end this horrible streak. It is 4 games now that they couldn't get a win. Guardiola is really desperate and injuries are making it worse.

How we can meassure the Totenham Spurs season? I mean if we look into their performance on the PRemier League is one of the worst ever like the past season, but if we look into their performance on the Champions League is by far one of the best teams there, being right now at the 4º position and in a solid position to become one of the top 8 teams.

So why they play good in one competition and so awfull here in the Premier League?

It is easy to measure them. They are like the copy of last season. Once again we see them great in a European tournament. But probably they won't progress very much in the Champions League.

It isn't the Europa League.  Tongue  They are bad in the Premier League because of having a really poor squad. The way they are managed is also not well enough.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2025/26 Season on: January 21, 2026, 04:45:56 PM
galatasaray has announced its starting lineup. osimhen is back in the starting lineup after a long absence. let's see if we can expect a good performance from him in this match. the other three attacking players besides osimhen are also in the starting lineup. sane is on the right wing, barış alper is on the left wing, and yunus akgün is behind osimhen. this is already galatasaray's strongest possible attacking quartet.

i think we might face some minor issues in midfield with ilkay gündoğan absent. the defensive line and fullbacks aren't very convincing either. i hope for an enjoyable match to watch.

Galatasaray's job will be really difficult in defense line. It isn't easy for them to defend the Sørloth - Alvarez duo there. Atletico Madrid will probably use their right wing more as Simeone is really capable there.

In short if Galatasaray don't manage to pressurize their opponent like they did against Liverpool before, good luck to them on trying to get points. Atletico Madrid would benefit from it easily when they are given the space.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2026 NBA Season on: January 21, 2026, 10:02:58 AM
Nuggets played with a really tight rotation because of the injuries. Even Murray - Gordon duo were also doubtful for the game but they played. However it was still difficult for them to win.  Tongue

Luka played incredible though! A wonderful triple-double with a quite decent FG percentage. It is a 2-game losing streak for Nuggets now. It was already way extra that they got that many wins without Jokic and with all those injuries.

A really good test is waiting for Arbeloa in 3 days... Real Madrid are going to play away against Villarrreal in the La Liga. This isn't an easy game at all for them honestly.

However the good thing for them is that they are getting better in performance day by day! They just demolished Monaco by 6-1 in the Champions League.

Villarreal are technically a way better team than Monaco in general of the season. But let's see...
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 21, 2026, 09:30:13 AM
Exactly, he's always been an underrated coach, if you like. With the move to Roma, he's finally at a team that wants to invest, not a team that looks at saving money as its primary consideration. i am obviously referring to Atalanta. So, here he can make a qualitative leap.

I just see Gasperini as a manager who really loves the challenge.  Grin  First he managed Atalanta and tried to do a really hard work to reach the top. Maybe he couldn't make the team the champion but he got really nice results.

Now I believe Roma has an increased difficulty for him... The squad he has isn't good enough for big successes. But he still keeps up the good work in top 4. Even though they don't score many goals they still manage to win lots of games.
19  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 20, 2026, 05:17:05 PM

I have actually heard it like Roma decided to terminate Leon Bailey's loan deal. But okay my source could be wrong. It wouldn't be surprising if it was that way because he got injured.

This is the main reason why he is recalled obviously. He had a really decent time period in his career earlier at Leverkusen and Aston Villa. But his performance dropped later on and now injuries will bring his career to a worse point.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2025/2026 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: January 20, 2026, 05:04:39 PM
There is an Arsenal - Manchester United game closing in. What do you think? I assume Arsenal would finally win right? They did it at Old Trafford already. Doing it for the second time at Emirates shouldn't be harder technically.  Tongue

I dont know how every single team wants to not be the champion this year,in this round every single top team drop points, and most of them against shit teams from much lower positions or even between the most weaker teams in the league, Aston Villa had the chance to be the lonely runner up and they failed and played really abd against Everton, City lose the derby, Arsenal drops points against Forest, come on.....

I can understand Aston Villa's dropping points in unexpected times. They aren't familiar with being a title contender in the first place. Most people must have still not waited for them to stay in it until the end.

However the thing which I don't know what to say about is Arsenal's look. You have your best chance in all these years but continue to lose points at the same time with your number one rival. The gap is 7 points but still I'm not convinced with them...
