There is no real reason why Xabi Alonso should change team,he is enjoying the biggest success of his life as a coach with Leverkussen,he made them win their first Bundesliga title and that is quite an achievement. The Europa League is looking easier for them now that Liverpool is out,I don't see them having any difficulty facing in the final Atalanta or Roma as the strongest remaining teams in the Europa League now.The guys of Leverkussen are surely motivated as they are eager to win even more, like they say appetite comes when eating well and surely Leverkussen is even more hungry for other successes, they are the strongest contender to win the Europa League as they are nearly 50 games that don't taste of defeat,I guess they have already forgotten what defeat is  Grin.

It seems like Xabi Alonso would like to be an idealistic manager rather than just leaving to sign for a much bigger team with a huge money power.  Smiley  He is keen on signing for Liverpool in the future though considering an interview he gave a short time ago. However at least for one more season we will continue to see him managing Leverkusen.

I'm quite okay with it as well honestly. Because there is a really amazing chemistry between him and the players. He wants to go for bigger achievements with this team obviously. Who knows maybe even in the Champions League we might see Leverkusen being really successful next season.

Tottenham Hotspur are infertile this season, always clinching for a title but they have roughly missed out their big chances this season. Spurs needs winning mindset because that's one of the basis of streak winnings and bouncing back to incredible form. Tottenham Hotspur headcoach, Ange Postecoglou will secure a good future for the club, he should be more concerned about his injured players this season. The first key man on the list is Destiny Udogie which will unavailable for the rest of the season.

Tottenham have signed a quite long contract with Ange Postecoglou. It is expected to expire in 2027 I mean. I wouldn't expect a that long contract honestly considering how much Tottenham have been struggling to get achievements. I would expect them to be more cautious with manager contracts like a 2-year contract the most.  Sad

Ange Postecoglou actually started this season really great but couldn't maintain consistency. Now they are in a really tough situation to qualify for the Champions League. I'm curious about whether his credit would get lower if they can't make it there.  Huh
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Conference League 2023/24 Season on: April 21, 2024, 02:12:06 PM
Olympiacos should consider themselves lucky at the same time. Fenerbahçe didn't have a good manager to make the right moves during the matchup. He had such a shallow thinking style that his choices cost Fenerbahçe the semi final chance.  Sad  Otherwise Olympiacos aren't a team that can really eliminate them by playing stronger.

Aston Villa will show them who the boss is in the semi finals without doubt. I expect a really comfortable win in the first leg to finish them off quickly. No matter Fiorentina or Club Brugge become their opponent in the finale Aston Villa should be able to become the champions anyway.

The only exciting match this week is between hosts Brest who will face Monaco in Week 30 of Ligue One and of course this will be a battle for position between the two teams with only a 1 point difference. Statistically, the last 5 matches are actually not much different, it's just that Monaco is slightly better, but when it comes to superiority, Brest will be superior considering that they have full support from fans.

On the other hand, if we look at the H2H here, Monaco is very superior and even if they play away from home, it looks like they won't have any problems. I'm curious about who will win and maybe if the two teams counter each other's attacks the result will be a draw with goals scored. I wouldn't bet on either team, I think it's quite risky and I would bet on the result of over 2.5 goals.

Winning this game is really crucial for Brest to consolidate their position in the standings. Because Monaco are one point behind maybe but they have a missing game to play on one hand. They can turn things into their advantage if they even get a draw in this game this evening. The odds are like below.

There are some important players not expected to play for Monaco side. This also makes Brest's odds for the win more tempting to me.  Grin  The chances are considered very close but I think Brest can win this game by a slight margin like 1-0 or 2-1. They would have their revenge on the previous 2-0 defeat as well by that.

What is your opinion about the PSG - Dortmund matchup? Honestly I believe PSG are here big thanks to their luck as well. That unbelievable red card Araujo got finished off Barcelona. This makes me question PSG's chance for even reaching the finale. Because their opponent in the semi finals is doing really good recently too.  Smiley

Dortmund eliminated Atletico Madrid which isn't really an easy job to do for even the biggest favourites of the title here. They did it in a really impressive way at the same time. I remember PSG - Dortmund games in the group stage but I still believe it might be different this time. Even if PSG advance I think it won't be easy.
26  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 21, 2024, 09:09:40 AM
Union Berlin 0:5 Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich may have lost the title this season to the better team Bayer Leverkusen but watching them still play brilliantly today after their game against Arsenal in the champions league shows how dedicated they are in finishing the league well even though they have lost the title already. Today, they proved superiority once again by trashing Union Berlin from away after struggling in their previous matches to  score goals, I believe they will finish the season as runners up in the league if they maintain the good performance by winning their remaining matches and scoring more goals like they did in this match against Union Berlin.

Edit: 1:5 full-time score.

I wish Kane was able to score more goals than only one in this game. The reason why I wanted such thing is that he would have been much closer to breaking a new goal record in the Bundesliga. The existing record belongs to Lewandowski with 41 goals you know. Right now Kane has 33 goals and only 4 league games left to play. It looks like this won't happen this season.  Sad

But considering the way Kane started his first season here I have big hopes from him to break this goal record. Maybe it would even happen in next season who knows.  Smiley  Next time Bayern Munich are playing against Frankfurt home but I wouldn't recommend anyone to take a risk by betting on Bayern Munich. Because I assume we would see a big rotation as they have the first leg of the Champions League only three days after this game.
27  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: April 21, 2024, 09:03:10 AM
Ancelotti talks about Modric like he doesn't want to be on the bench. This is no surprise because Modric is still a really hardworking player in Real Madrid squad. He still has a lot of energy at this age as well. You would remember his being able to play for even 120 minutes at his national team in a match. He just loves to play football as much as possible.  Grin

This makes me think about whether he will decide to extend his contract for another year this summer. Because the current one is about to end by this summer. He is 38 years old now and I'm curious about whether he sees making more money in Saudi Arabia as an option as well.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: April 20, 2024, 02:48:11 PM
Bayern Munich aren't having one of their best seasons as I said before. However this doesn't mean that Real Madrid would be too comfortable to beat them. There is nothing guaranteed in football especially if you underestimate your opponent. I don't expect Ancelotti to do such thing though. He is a very smart manager which can be understood from the way he played against Manchester City.  Smiley

It was the only way to eliminate Manchester City and he preferred that by closing his ears to people who were criticizing him like he was a coward. Now I haven't any doubt that Ancelotti will choose the right way to play against Bayern Munich as well. I believe in Real Madrid to win the matchup.  Smiley

Zinedine Zidane is reported to be keeping one eye on the manager job at Manchester United as he weighs up a return to work this summer.
https://www.90min.com/zinedine-zidane-monitoring-erik-ten-hag-future-man-utd-bayern-munich-links

It surprises me, and I'm hoping this will come true. We didn't need ten hag, which is correct and management must consider zidane as the primary option to be recruited as manchester united's coach. We need Zidane to join Manchester United as a new appointment caused by that's enough for united to have garbage coach like ten hag. Zidane can also rebuild the club as he wanted and im hoping it will have better result. It's very disappointing to see that ten hag gave us nothing despite spending a lot of money and im sure majority of people are also feeling the same like us.

I'm hoping Zidane will be United's coach soon. It will be very interesting to see so many great coaches move to the Premier League in the coming season. I need Zidane, and United must remove Ten Hag from the club as soon as possible.
I'd be overjoyed if Zidane came to the United. No more ten hag. He will be out next season. United never performed well under him. Ten Hag was only wasting so many of United's resources.

I was just going to talk about it after seeing the rumour. Zidane has always been rumoured with various teams to manage them. I'm not sure about whether there is some truth in this news.  Huh

It is even said that he would prefer Manchester United over Bayern Munich. This made me believe less in the rumour.  Grin  Because it is more difficult to save Manchester United with this squad. He will literally need to revolutionize the team to be competitive for titles. But when it comes to Bayern Munich he can be much more successful even with the current squad. As of Kane addition the squad is in really great condition in the end.
30  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 20, 2024, 02:35:01 PM

Good news has come to the serie a. The league will get 5 UCL spots starting from the upcoming season. Lazio has a chance to qualify for the europa league this season since it needs to finish at the 6th place in order to secure a spot participate in the europa league. Lazio was winning the game by acquiring one goal through luis alberto.

It's a very good move for lazio caused by the chance to participate in europa leagueis getting bigger after it was winning the last game. Glad to see lazio thrashed genoa even with narrow score.

Shit happens when kamada was giving a beautiful assist to the his teammates. It has become a key for lazio in scoring against genoa.

I was wondering whether the website I was checking was wrong about showing 5 teams to qualify for the Champions League first. However it really happened and the Serie A has one more quota for that.  Shocked

This is wonderful news for Serie A teams (especially for Roma).  Smiley  Roma have been trying to get past Bologna for the last Champions League spot before this change. Now they are able to make it there even if they finish at their current position in the standings. Lazio are right behind by 3 points though but Roma have 2 less games played compared to them as well. I assume Roma wouldn't mess up that much to lose even the current position. It would be a big disappointment otherwise.

Verstappen's dominance level in the sprint race was just something else.  Grin  Despite starting at the fourth position he took the lead after many laps and had a huge time gap with Hamilton like thirteen seconds.

He captured pole position in qualifying session later on without surprising anyone as well. However the challenge among the other drivers in close range was worth watching. McLaren had a really great day and I can say the same thing for Alonso as well. Ferrari weren't good enough on one hand. However I think Leclerc and Sainz will be faster tomorrow. I feel like this race will be way more enjoyable compared to the Japanese GP.  Smiley

I don't blame the coach, maybe Bayern Munich is just unlucky at the moment.

Honestly I blame the manager the most. Because having the right manager really makes difference for Bayern Munich. Tuchel isn't a bad manager of course. He is a Champions League winner manager.  Wink

However he couldn't build a good chemistry with Bayern Munich players. This is why there have been significant inconsistencies. I wouldn't like to see Nagelsmann back as well in the same way. He also wasn't good enough. I mean if you are the manager of the strongest team of a league you are responsible for failure. We will see who their next manager will be. They had better find a solid one who can compete with Xabi Alonso's team next season.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 20, 2024, 09:02:44 AM
Lyon are still doing an amazing work! They continue to win and they are getting really lucky about their direct opponents in the standings at the same time.  Grin

Reims, Marseille and Rennes all have started to get really bad results for a few weeks. Now Lyon are only two points behind the sixth position. They really have a chance to qualify for the Conference League at least. Considering how this season started for Lyon this is a huge progress. However tomorrow they have a very difficult game against PSG away. I don't know if they can get any points but even one point would be useful in this toughest game of the season.  Smiley
34  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: April 20, 2024, 08:55:27 AM
It wasn't going to be surprising to see Athletic Bilbao staying out of top four at the end of the season. Now they have really thrown away their chance completely by thinking that Atletico Madrid would win. Aside from that Simeone and his students must be really devastated after that Dortmund loss. They really looked determined for qualifying for even the finale.  Sad

Now Simeone will at least make sure that they qualify for the Champions League. By the way it hasn't been much time since the board extended Simeone's contract. They must still be contented with his work. Maybe not in the La Liga but in the Champions League they have been really good this season.
35  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 20, 2024, 08:43:38 AM
If De Bruyne or Bernardo Silva leaves the club, it is possible that Man City signs Musiala. But if those players still stay at Man City, I'm not sure they want to spend much money to sign Musiala. I also a bit doubt that Musiala wants to move to Man City because he may have a lower chance to play there. It won't be easy to compete with 2 top attacking midfielders to get a regular position. Musiala mustn't expect to sit on the bench.

Bernardo Silva newly extended his contract therefore I don't feel like he is leaving anytime soon. He has a contract running until 2026 now. But for De Bruyne, we never know. There have been quite many rumours linking him with Saudi Arabia teams. Honestly I would rather see him staying at Manchester City for one more year at least. It is really delightful to watch him play here.  Smiley

If both of them stays then I don't see it very sensible to sign Musiala. Because there are going to be so many good alternatives in the squad and Guardiola would have more problems on making a choice among them. Besides we don't even know whether Bayern Munich would be keen on selling him.  Sad
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 19, 2024, 02:32:54 PM
Time feels so fast and we are already in week 33 of Serie A and as today's opening match Lazio will play an away match against Genoa. It looks like this will be a winning streak for Lazio and at the same time they will be able to shift Atalanta's position in the standings. The previous landslide victory against Cagliari was a very important asset to maintain his performance and maybe we will see another landslide result in this match.

On the other hand, Genoa, who feel they are still quite safe in 12th place in the standings with 39 points, will certainly not panic even if they lose to Lazio, but if they can beat Lazio or hold a draw then that would be even better. I think Genoa will play it safe and besides, none of the teams below them can unseat them by a significant difference in points.

Every single game left is important for Lazio from now on. Because they aren't only fighting for a better placement to qualify for an as good tournament as possible. They are also fighting for not losing their current position in the standings. Because Napoli have the same points with them and they are waiting for Lazio to make a mistake.

Genoa don't have any goal left in the league now. They will play freely as a result. Lazio lost against them home before by the way. This made me question betting on them here first. However 2.48 odds are given to Lazio win which is very tempting.  Roll Eyes  Immobile might not play but it isn't a problem. He is playing horrible already.  Sad

37  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: April 19, 2024, 02:25:31 PM
All these conditions did not happen and Liverpool lost against Atalanta in a deserved way.

Yeah the result didn't surprise me either as I was expecting to see it. But if Liverpool were able to maintain their scoring performance after Salah's goal maybe it might have been a more interesting game.

Atalanta seem like a really determined team in this tournament. At first I thought this would be the end of the road for them but after seeing the way they beat Liverpool my vision about them has changed.  Grin  Now they are going to face Marseille in the semi finals. Despite knowing how good the work Marseille did was against Benfica I still see Atalanta one step ahead. If Atalanta get a decent result away first then I don't feel like they would let Marseille win this matchup.
38  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: April 19, 2024, 02:19:38 PM
Sprint qualifying results were of an unexpected kind indeed. However if there is no rain at the weekend then I don't think we will continue to see similar results anymore. Verstappen would make the other drivers accept his dominance once again as usual I assume. We might at least watch a nice competition among the remaining drivers.  Smiley

Because this track is likely to be more fun compared to the previous one in Japan. This track allows the drivers to go for overtakes more comfortably. I'm especially curious about what Mercedes will do here. Because the season is going on like a nightmare for them and they need to start getting good results immediately.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 19, 2024, 09:01:11 AM
I agree that blaming Kane for Bayern Munich's fail this season would be the stupidest thing ever.  Grin  He must be seen as the best player in the team right now without doubt.

Bayern Munich's position in top four is safe now. The gap with Dortmund is 7 points you know. Therefore they can take more risks for the Champions League like saving their best players for the Champions League games ahead. It is a really tough matchup against Real Madrid and I expect Real Madrid to eliminate them as well. But still Bayern Munich have no other choice than going all in for it. They have nothing to lose after losing the Bundesliga title chance.
40  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 19, 2024, 08:48:51 AM
Musiala seems to be on the radar of some Premier League teams these days. Manchester City is the most rumoured team recently and Chelsea is also said to have joined the race for him.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Chelsea in the race. Todd Boehly likes to spend a lot of money obviously. However spending for players such as Musiala would be a logical action honestly. He is a great talent.  Smiley

Juventus has no money to recruit the new player last season. The club is now having greater chance to change the situation by selling some players. FYI, some players like bremer has got an interest from manchester united to recruit him, but juventus recently ordered by the court to pay ronaldo's remaining salaries owe by juventus once he was still juventus's players.
Read the explanation below

Juventus have been told they must pay Cristiano Ronaldo £8.3million after losing an arbitration case to their former player, according to reports.

Yeah I know about their current financial condition. But I said that because of considering the revenues they will get by the end of the season maybe they might be able to make some good transfers this summer. I hope so at least otherwise I don't expect much change in Juventus success rate next season either.  Sad
