2  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitMarket.Eu - We advise users not to use Paypal! on: August 09, 2011, 07:24:40 PM
hi,
I just want to post a little contribution for the paypal chargeback issue (and sorry for my english..)
I've been stolen 3 times by paypal because the buyer told them that his account was hacked and 3 times paypal told me that virtual values were not assured by them, so I lost my money!
Last week, same thing for 65€, buyer pretend he was hacked etc.... and I decided to NOT reply to paypal (they send me 3-4 mails in the week..never reply), and finally after +/- 7 days they send me this :

"Our study on the transaction below is now complete. we
could not find evidence of unauthorized access to account
the buyer. The file has not been resolved in favor of the latter,
no money has been debited from your account."

So I keep my 65€ Smiley

I hope this will help, maybe it's an exception , maybe not..

I've got two 6970 in crossfire, windows 7 64, ~405mh/s on each card with the 11.5 drivers and with 11.6 my system freeze and crash/reboot (maybe windows aero when I move some windows...). go back to 11.5...

hi,
I've a HX 620W Corsair PSU and hd5870, I want to switch to two HD6950 flashed to 6970, do you think I've to change my PSU to a 850w/1000w ? (+i5 750 wc, 2hdd, 1sdd)  Smiley

Not the right thread for this question but I'll bite...

OK, a single 6970 has the following power supply recommendation on the AMD website: 550 Watt or greater power supply with one 150W 8-pin PCI Express® power connector and one 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connector recommended

The max TDP for this card is 250 Watts (just for the card btw!) so to run two you need 500 Watts just for the cards. Tack on the power consumption of your CPU, hds, ssd, other junk, and you're going to come pretty close to the max rated capacity of your hx 620.

Sooo..I'd recommend you get a 850 or 1000 watt power supply. The HX1000W is a good one Smiley That's what I have in my main sys and it performs like a champ. I love the HX series Smiley

oh ok thanks I think I'll take the HX 1000 (but it's a little expensive, 193€  Smiley but I love corsair products ^^

One question for immune, I see a fan on your cards, how did you fixed it?
I have a 800D too with H50, but I put the H50 fan on the back to have fresh air in entry it's a better solution than on the top no?  Wink

hi,
Here is my contribution, just for information:
I've a HD5870 XFX and up to 429-435Mh/s (it varies) with 1000/300 0.950v and phoenix 1.1 with  VECTORS AGGRESSION=7 WORKSIZE=128 BFI_INT (with aggression=12 I loose some mh/s..)
OS windows 7 64 ; 85°C after 1/2h

Did you use msi afterburner to undervolt de gpu? Did you try to get it any lower? How did you test for stability?
Thank you in advance.

I use AMD GPU Clock Tool to undervolt. I tried 1030/300 @0.950 but got some crashes.

Hi all, the new version works perfectly, I've got 310-314Mhashes/s on my HD5870, but I've a noob question, if I run the program and stop a few hours later,  it resumed his calculations when he was stopped? Or I've to run it non-stop until having 50BTC?  (excuse my english ^^)

wolfangel91 make sure you have the right device selected and are running the miner on your gpu and not your cpu.

I'm sure, my CPU is from 2 to 4% and my GPU from 1 to 12%...so I think something doesn't work for me Undecided I've ATI SDK installed, drivers are up to date.. I see 8 connections on bitcoin and 108994bloks.. I've tried device 0 or device 1 and it's the same problem...

thanks for your response! you said "Disregard this error, it doesn't affect functionality at all", ok but when I look to GPU load (with AMD system monitor) it's show 2% to 12% load only.. so I think I doesn't work no?...But maybe it's my fault I may be incorrectly set something  Undecided

hi all,
I was on compute4cash but now I want to try bitcoin GPU mining. I read all this help http://www.newslobster.com/random/how-to-get-started-using-your-gpu-to-mine-for-bitcoins-on-windows#comment-14408
But I still have an error, I launch the bat for poclbm.exe and I see a serie of that in the console:
"incomplete read:incomplete read(296bytes read, 15 more expected) unexpected error traceback (most recent call at last):
File "bitcoinminer.pyc", line 210 in mine
File "bitcoinminer.pyc", line 188 in getwork
File "httplib.pyc", line 525 in read
File "httplib.pyc", line 617 in _safe_read"

Any idea ? what's that shit?  How to resolve this problem? thanks for help!

(and sorry for my bad english.. Undecided)
