1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to buy bitcoin. on: February 05, 2023, 01:08:20 PM
Agree if the market is not strong it is never possible to invest investing in bitcoin requires a long wait, if you are impatient you will never be able to make a profit. Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin can experience price volatility on a daily or even hourly basis. As with any type of investment, volatility should not cause uncertainty fear of missing out or fear of participation at all price volatility is seen due to price fluctuations.
I hear ya, bro! It's definitely strange to think that the 2024 halving might not bring a bull run, but we've seen market trends come and go before. And let's be real, these fluctuations are just part of the game.

As for the regulations surrounding Bitcoin in the US, I don't think we're quite there yet. While Russia has expressed interest in making Bitcoin a legal tender, I think it's going to be a bit of a stretch for other major countries to follow suit. The Chinese have their own digital currency plans, and for the US and Europe, there are still a lot of questions to be answered before Bitcoin could ever become a legitimate form of payment. The domination of Bitcoin in the economy is just one of many concerns that need to be addressed.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to profit from altcoins collapses? on: February 05, 2023, 12:51:09 PM
Is it possible to profit from collapses of altcoins? Do you have any ideas how to?

Are you sure you want to take part of the collapsing altcoin? if you are sure then there you have taken advantage of the altcoin if the price returns to normal. however, what you have to pay attention to for each altcoin that collapses is the potential it has, if it has good potential then you are not wrong to keep it in your wallet for a long time until you can get profits and you can release it when the market is normal
An altcoin that has potential, so when it collapses, it is likely to get back up and it is not easy to find an altcoin like that,
easy examples such as Ethereum and BNB coins are both potential and quality coins that need not be doubted.
Absolutely! Those are some great examples of altcoins with real potential. Ethereum and Binance Coin have proven themselves time and time again, with a solid track record and a strong community behind them. It's not often you come across an altcoin with that kind of staying power, so when you do, it's definitely worth taking notice.

But of course, as with any investment, there's always some level of risk involved. That's why it's so important to do your own research and make informed decisions. It's all about finding that balance between potential rewards and manageable risks. Keep your eyes peeled and don't be afraid to take chances on promising projects - that's how you'll find the next big thing in the crypto world!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoiners are not friendly physical? on: February 04, 2023, 02:54:16 PM
not as bad as you think, everything is running normally, there is no boundary between online and offline if that's your team,
There's a reason people don't want to talk about btc matters in public, so it's not that they aren't friendly
Hey there! I completely agree with you on this one. Trusting a project and doing your due diligence (DYOR) is key in the crypto world. If the team behind the project is still active and working on its development, then there's always hope for a rebound. But if the project has stagnated and the team has disappeared, then it might be time to move on and look for better opportunities. The crypto space is always evolving and there are plenty of promising projects out there, so keep an eye out!
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading as a newbie? on: February 04, 2023, 02:08:37 PM
Recently I have been trying to come up with ways of making some money on the side and thinking of giving trading a go.

I have zero experience and have just been looking on Coinbase at the best and worst performers of the day.

I am thinking of buying coins that are 15% or more down and then selling once they pump 10% and move onto the next one that is 15% down and then again sell at 10% profit and just keep repeating.

Anyone done something similar or will it just lead me to losing my money?
of course this is fine, but how long is your tolerance ? I mean how long you can carry the dumping or losing once it crosses your investments?
if you have been seeing this market for a time now then you knew that things might come worst in the coming days after we bought them.

and also we knew that buying Low selling High is the perfect strategy but how deep you can keep? that is the question you must answer first.
It's true, holding on during a dump or losing streak can be tough, but it all comes down to how much you're willing to tolerate. Are you prepared to ride out the ups and downs, or will the volatility make you anxious? Only you can answer that.

One thing to keep in mind is that buying low and selling high is the goal, but there are no guarantees in the market. You have to be comfortable with the fact that there's always a risk involved. That being said, if you do your research and invest in solid projects, the chances of losing are much lower. Just remember to have a clear understanding of your own tolerance and be prepared for the possibility of losses.

It seems @OP is looking seriously for a pump and dump project and you should know that it is very much risk to invest in altcoins and hope you're ready for whatever consequences it brings before you.
I will advice you rather invest in Bitcoin for a long time(not a financial advice and you should do your research please)
As Bitcoin has proven to be the hope of the common man.
And if you must going into day trading then I will also advice that you go learn the necessary rudiments and bet yourself fully equipped with the basic trading knowledge.
Unfortunately, negative perceptions of the crypto industry are still out there and we just can't change everyone's perspective overnight. For those who aren't particularly interested in crypto, it might be best for them to steer clear of this technology given its volatility and inherent risk. If they do choose to invest in Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency, they're likely to experience temporary losses, especially during bearish markets. But on the bright side, the negative image of crypto keeps people grounded and aware of the potential risks. It's important to approach crypto with caution, but that's true for any investment.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: February 04, 2023, 01:40:52 PM
for investment I recommend going to Altcoins, but for trading of course Bitcoin can be an option, the reason is very easy, that altcoins can make you achieve 100x profit on investment,
it's just that you have to really choose alrcoin investments which are good in terms of fundamentals , yes there are lots of potential altcoins, for example Nervos and Verasity,
try investing in these altcoins and wait for the bull market to come.

For a long-term investment, I'll choose BTC and some of the altcoins that I think the price will skyrocket in the future if you are holding for a long period of time. And, taking advantage of the crypto market is profitable if you have a target percent that you want to earn for a day when doing future trading with BTC doing a scalping strategy.
Sure, investing in BTC and selected altcoins for the long term can potentially yield high returns. Additionally, engaging in short term future trading with a scalping strategy can also be profitable if executed correctly. It's important to have a well-researched investment strategy and be aware of the risks involved in the highly volatile crypto market.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Potential DeFi Exit Scam on: September 10, 2020, 11:35:12 AM
Very disappointing to see many Defi projects exist scam this days making uncomfortable for investors, too bad people are falling for this scams, it has been said that people should do much research to be sure of what type of project they want to invest on, this is new way for scammers to exploit people, everyone should take note.
Scam projects are not bad because if you come early you will definitely make a huge profit from that coin. I had a very good strategy before I started doing those Defi projects and it helped me to earn x3 or x4 profit in a very short period of time. Of course, those projects do not have specific products and most importantly, you have to sell them after making a profit because if you hold, you will easily lose all that money.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coin for coronavirus on: September 10, 2020, 11:28:26 AM
It has been around since the pandemic started. It is just a regular pump and dump token. Nobody in his or her right sense will invest in such project for long time and by the way it makes the pandemic look like an advantage for someone. Especially when the price of casualties keep risen. This is not what we all want. Ones there are many potent vaccines and the virus goes down, the project too will die
Agree with this opinion of you. Indeed, those coins aren't doing us any good, and if you look at what's happening, vaccines will come out soon this year or mid-next year. Ideally, if you decide to invest, you should choose the coins that apply well to our daily life. I have never liked the idea of a coin with respect to COVID-19 because it sounds really funny.
8  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What the heck is happening to bitcoin! on: September 10, 2020, 11:21:46 AM
Is it manipulation? or just not breaking the resistance of 12K Area?
I am shocked of this recent drop and i am a long term holder, what do you think it will happen? just a correction?

In my mind. Nothing is happening to bitcoin. The market is smarter now and there are a lot of traders. The wales are really correcting the price or btc. And this  just a correction and bitcoin is once worse in dropping than this.
Bitcoin has remained stable so far for the past few months and I expect the coin to rise again soon. The time of October will be the time when this coin increases in price very strongly and you will surely make a lot of profits if you have a reasonable investment strategy. One more thing, investor sentiment is very good right now and this will make our investment more and more reassuring.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 Cryptocurrencies to Watch This Week on: September 10, 2020, 11:13:56 AM
here is the lists BTC, ATOM, LEND, XEM, YFI
Bitcoin is likely to consolidate for a few days but during this time select altcoins are likely to extend their up-move.
if history were to repeat itself, Bitcoin could consolidate for another 3-12 months before making a decisive move.
During this period, when Bitcoin remains range-bound, several other altcoins are likely to rally in rotation.
For the past few months, the market action has been in the DeFi tokens, which have been in a bull run of their own.
So, while Bitcoin consolidates, let’s look at some of the altcoins that could provide an opportunity in the short-term.

read the full analysis here
I personally agree a little with what you suggest but in this case it looks like xem is not the right alt coins for me, because right now I am more interested in DIA and I think DIA is one of the alts coins that deserve more on your list than XEM at this time, we can see how now his project has developed quite well to encourage an increase in the price of the current DIA coin in the market.
I am also very interested in DIA as this coin is very well received by the community and will surely go up even more if there is a lot of big news. It can be seen that since the trend of investing in DeFi projects appeared, there are many good projects for investors and if you are lucky, you will make a lot of money when participating. One way or another, optimizing your profits and making sure you don't lose money on your investments is a must.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming Defi projects on: September 10, 2020, 11:00:37 AM
I currently hold SAND and KLV right now. I am thinking of letting go of my SAND and buy PNT  since Defi is on a roll this year I might as well ride the tide right. I have minimal budget which I use for trading here and there. Hopefully, I can minimize losses and grow my small holdings.
A lot of new investment options are available to investors during this period. I think your options are really good to hold in the long term because almost all of the DeFi projects are very well received. If the trend of investing in Defi projects persists then I am sure you will make a lot of profits in the near future, but there is also a risk if the trend breaks.
11  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your trading strategy? on: September 09, 2020, 11:25:17 AM
Nice a question!!
A lot of beginners need to know more about trading Wink
So, I would say that my best and the only strategy that most people get benefit from is to buy the dip and HODL.
And wish you all the best guys!
This is a simple strategy that everyone understands when entering this market, but to apply it, you will definitely need a lot of knowledge about trading because the market is always volatile. I am not good at trading but always know the time to buy a cheap price because if you can choose a good price to keep, your chances of making a profit will be very high and can completely double the profit after short time.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to Invest on: September 09, 2020, 11:18:49 AM
Binance market in my opinion is very good because it has the biggest users right now, and for good altcoins for investment like eth, bnb, link, dot, xlm are still very good to buy, maybe you can find out better than this.
This year Binance is still the number one exchange in this market and there are plenty of low-cost investment options available to investors right now. I am always looking for new coins in this market and I think DIA, LINK, YFI are good options for long term investment. However, what I'm most worried about is the DeFi bubble because if it bursts then the market will be very bad.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No hype is good on: September 09, 2020, 11:10:33 AM
The hype is the crowd effect, and the hype isn't too bad for good projects. Being able to find good projects early and investing in them and quickly making a profit is another way to get a good return. Need to study carefully and invest at a reasonable level to bring profits. Stay away from trends that you don't understand.
For now, investors seem to be interested in buying the popular coins, and the trend of crowd investing is still very popular now. I believe, before investing in a crowd, it is necessary to study carefully and evaluate the entire process of that project because if you make mistakes, you will have great losses. It can be seen that DeFi is an investment trend with a lot of risks, but if you check carefully, you will still make a huge profit.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are you doing now? on: September 09, 2020, 11:01:12 AM
I am already joining bounty campaign and airdrop before the pandemic happens. I got used to being always at home, so this is not new to me. I also have small business at home which is the source of our daily necessities.
Having a stable job now has been very difficult since Covid-19 appeared. I am also unemployed during this time and this is still a very bad time for me as only a bonus campaign can help me earn more income. I'm still waiting for the vaccine to be available in my country soon to put an end to this situation as I was so depressed having to stay home for so long.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: September 09, 2020, 10:42:39 AM
Ethereum always been an asset for holding and trading for all kind of traders and never this face you losses much if you understand very carefully the coins don't you face any losses ever. Though this been down for few times it's always good time to buy and hold and recently the drop is being recovering.

I think Ethereum is still very cheap this time and will definitely help you a lot in making profits. I am waiting for what happens next in this market and hope that things will recover soon as the bear market is almost over. What I am waiting for is Ethereum 2.0 as this is one of the biggest news that could drive the price of ETH even higher in the near future.

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: COVID19 and Its effect on Bitcoin & Altcoin Price? Your Thoughts ! on: July 13, 2020, 04:02:25 AM
Yep it's unbelievable the price of bitcoin was increasing while we are at global pandemic, I guess people want to have an extra income in internet and bitcoin was their choice to earn some money. If there is no pandemic I'm sure the price of bitcoin will surge.
I don't think that's the reason why a market activity is increasing. bitcoin is increasing slowly, I guess it's only natural. even after halving which coincided with this pandemic, bitcoin could only stand still with little movement. I think the current conditions can still be said to be reasonable and there is nothing to be exaggerated.
Covid-19 affected this market in March and it was a very bad time so I am sure this pandemic will have a huge impact on the price of Bitcoin. Currently, things have changed a lot and Bitcoin prices have risen higher than in the previous months, so this is a sign that the crypto market will definitely be a promising market. I think if there is a vaccine, this will be news that will cause the entire economy to change and the price of Bitcoin will probably go up very high.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: July 13, 2020, 03:55:44 AM
I am a Bitcoin investor but I have more hopes on altcoins, they can be very surprising at times, I belief some altcoins will bring me the best profit in both short and long term, with altcoins the chance of making big money is high than that of Bitcoin but this comes with greater risk
Altcoin is an investment to make a lot of profit in this market but I am sure the risk will be huge because Altcoin will often depend on the price of Bitcoin. I always consider carefully when deciding to invest Altcoin because if you choose a bad project, you will spend a lot of time waiting or will lose money. Before buying or selling you should spend time researching and checking their roadmap because if they do exactly what they say it is a project you can consider investing.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Some Alts for long run investment. on: July 13, 2020, 03:32:49 AM

As a pos coin, Dash is a great one for long term investment and ETH is definitely the best one after choosing BTC. But eth won't be able to surpass bitcoin in the current markets. In future , it may be happened because of more adoption than the adoption rate of Bitcoin. As far from the history, not only eth's price but also other altcoin's price is mainly depend on the Bitcoin's price movement. So we just need to wait for the bull run of the Bitcoin and after that we hope to see the altcoin bull run.
if you want to minimize the risk, just choose bitcoin and ethereum. maybe dash, bnb, and other popular altcoins also have potential, it's just that the risk is still too big compared to choosing bitcoin and ethereum. for this reason, I think everyone has their own reasons for choosing bitcoin and ethereum.
The entire market these days tend to be fluctuating and that might not work well for a newbie who is looking for a short term profit. A lot of them are getting scared and selling at a loss because they are yet to understand the system. Investing in either ETH or BTC has the likelihood of bringing good profit, particularly for ETH and that is because of the upcoming update.
If you invest safely, the profits you will make will be very small. The market is always changing day by day and new coins will be given more attention. In my opinion, you should plan to choose the coins outside the top 100 because those coins are very good if you know how to invest properly. I still choose to invest in BTC and ETH but only use 20% of my assets because I am no longer interested in these two coins anymore.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The success of IEO is Exchange on: July 13, 2020, 03:11:37 AM
I can say yes !, I have seen IEO in the top exchanges, such as Binance, Bithumb, and Huobi,
all IEO there are successful and indeed ROI can go up to 100%
The success of an IEO depend on the level of liquidity and how big an exchange site is but the success of the project itself after the IEO is completely finished depend on the concept and the project team strategy and i believe the perspective which the project will pose after the IEO should be the major reason in a project not the exchange site.
So don't fool about project ROI in the future cause the IEO held by big exchange.
Good liquidity exchanges will often have more successful IEO projects and of course, before choosing to invest, you should research it well. IEO is now becoming a new investment trend during the past year and currently there are many successful and failed IEO projects so please consider carefully. However, what worries me most is that after IEO, those projects have very little news and it makes a lot of investors feel frustrated when choosing long-term investment.
