When using the load balance feature between 2 pools, I always have more accepted shares on pool 0 than pool 1. If I switch the pools on my .conf file I get the same result. Pool 0 always has a considerably higher amount of accepted shares than pool 1.
I have a cgminer instance running 2 gpu's of which I can see each gpu is working both pools and the gpu's are both identical as well as the same settings. They both run within 1MH/s of each other. One gpu runs about 4c higher than the other and the hotter one usually always has a slightly higher U value than th other.
On a separate box I run just a single gpu and I get the same result from it in that pool 0 always has a higher amount of shares. Currently I just run one .conf will pools listed one way and on the other .conf I am listing the pools opposite the first. Any idea how I may be able to get a better balance. Also at wat cost is my decision to run the load balance feature possibly negating the efficiency versus just using the failover feature? I should also say my decision to use the load balance is an attempt to lower variance I may see from a single pool.
Thanks for your time
EDIT: Is there a better alternative to the load balancing option to distributing work between 2 pools in attempt to avoid variance of a single pool?
May be a little quick to confirm wat I stated about "On a separate box I run just a single gpu and I get the same result from it in that pool 0 always has a higher amount of shares."
Have different results on very small sample sizes once I reversed the pools on that miner. Going to check with the pool and see if they are running difficulty 1 shares or something different. I guess this could cause issue with the load balance feature.

I've notice that when checking the workers on eclipseMC pool, they do not show up when going under to the custom tab. Workers from another will show up fine but not workers from eclipse. When using the custom tab, once minimized will this show the workers active and hashrate for each pool or all pools combined?
Also would be nice to see the current rounds estimated payout added to the minimized window. However I could see this as an issue once using the custom tab if multiple pools stats are combined.
Thank You for your time

I honestly can't answer any functional questions about internal company business since I haven't actually started working there yet... so I don't know those answers as of yet. I have current obligations that I have to wind down prior to the 13th and then it's going to take me a bit to assess the current situation and get up to speed on where things stand internally at BFL at that point. As far as release schedules go, I will be addressing and handling those as well. Be careful what you wish for though, you might end up with a Valve style release date on stuff. Hiring a COO to fix their customer relations (and one who can't keep from calling people idiots when discussing his new demeanor) is like hiring a CTO to fix their website. This is the public part of my job, but it is not my only job. I did not think, nor do I now think that anyone cares what other activities I will be conducting that will not affected the things Bitcointalk cares about. Also, I said you wouldn't see as many rants, etc... from me. That doesn't mean I won't call a spade a spade. If someone is being an idiot, I will likely ignore them; however there may be occasions where it's warranted to point out that fact if it serves a higher purpose than just poking fun at someone. Thought I would quote your post from previous page since it was the last post of the page I felt it was buried and it addresses any questions that can't be answered since you have not yet started.

- just saw the huge hashrate increase for you guys and i'm coming back! but i saw proportionate is gone and it's PPS only now? oh well i'll leave it going and it'll probably work out better that way anyway. You have the option of either DGM or PPS. If you click the "My Workers"->"Manage" you can then adjust the payout method you prefer for each worker. Also on this page you can set the time in minutes you prefer to be alerted after that worker has failed to send work for this specified amount of time. The alerts can be by txt message or email, these options are enabled/disabled on the "Account" page, down at the bottom of the left column under where it says "Email / SMS Events" - if i set my payout to pay my NMC out as BTC to me, and I look on the worker screen and it shows you your estimate payout in BTC and USD per day per worker, does that figure include my NMC payout in it?
I do not believe this estimate includes the namecoin, but I could be wrong. On the Block Stats page if you look just above where it says "MY Earnings", in red it says "Namecoin Block History", click that and it switches over to the namecoin block stats page. - is there a difference between us.eclipsemc.com, us1.eclipsemc.com, or us2.eclipsemc.com? either one is okay?
No differences, all same port #8337. Not sure if Inaba has a recomendation based on current traffic, haven't seen him state anything like that recently. He is most always on top of things so when something comes up its usually back to normal by the time you can ask about it or tell about it.

Congrats to BFL.
They couldn't have possibly hire a better person to resolve the current issues and suspicions that people are having. Anyone who mines at eclipse knows Inaba and the service and dedication he provides for the miners of his pool. The transparency he offers attest to his honesty and you will find none other like it anywhere else. Integrity and willingness to go above and beyond wat is ask or expected every time. Time and time again he never fails to impress.
For those that don't aren't familiar with him, you will soon see. Keep up the good work man in all that you do.
Good luck on the step your taking

What's your point? His only 7 posts are on this thread. Is that suspicious? Wouldn't call it suspicious. His 7 post are in the thread he created titled, "I made 100BTC with Satoshi's dice. Is this normal?"Is this normal? My point being its shilling. according to mtgoxlive + google, 100 btc is exactly 11802.8 shillings. What's your point? His only 11802.8 shillings are now gone. Is that suspicious? Appears satoshidice has been unresponsive to several unpaid winning bets going on 4 days now. Is that suspicious?

I bought my first 30 BTC the other day, and decided to try my hand at Satoshi's dice on the 50% slot. Kept betting 3BTC, if I lost I bet 6 BTC, and if I lost that then I bet 12BTC. If I won, I kept betting 3BTC. I believe this is called the martingale strategy. In the last 3 days and over 600 transactions, I've made over 100 BTC. I'm amazed.
This seems incredibly easy and too good to be true. What am I missing here? The coins are confirming and all is well, but I can't imagine how this site stays profitable giving away $1000+ to a user. Does everyone usually win this much?
shill much? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=57646;sa=showPosts
