There are now 30 nodes on the network, they are unknown clients or Protocol though. Also I've seen freiexchange listed on cryptoID on the market place section on other coins and wonder if they could add that for 2GiveCoin if we message them and ask. Are you going to update Facebook & Twitter, it's been over a year or more since you've posted to them? It's better 2 Give P.S. you should change the Original Post Subject line so people who are looking at Announcements (Altcoins) see it & not the Bittrex removal line. Changing the subject of a post only does it to that post, but it still shows the Original Post with Bittrex removal when searching Announcements & has to be changed from the OP edit subject line Great suggestions -- will update the OP soon -dvd

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [2GIVE] / SNF SEED WALLETS => AIR DROPS
|
on: March 19, 2022, 03:22:33 PM

Any wallet that begins with "GiveCoin*" is an original SNF non-profit seed wallet and the Give2SNF* is the master "burn" wallet address that holds coins "retired" and pulled out of circulation.
During the periods of "air-drops" we bounce large blocks of coins between the nodes so that it drops the 1% fee onto the network.
That's truly "giving" in the spirit of things :-)

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [2GIVE] / The coin that Gives POS/POW %1 of each tx

I also see that CryptoID is still supporting 2Give https://chainz.cryptoid.info/2give/#If you need someone to just keep posting on Twitter, Facebook & here to get the coin going again, I'm up for the task & think that we could still build a good following of 2Give. I just had really high hopes for the coin and hate to see it fade away, like a few of the POS coins that I supported & there chains broke from people not keeping their wallets staking... 27 peers on the network is good for being just a test coin as of late Maybe update the subject heading to reflect the coin needing more followers to support it & take away the Bittrex statement that was ages ago...? You're making a lot of sense. Will think on it a bit. We have been considering firing up the seed node "air drop" again where were bounce blocks of coins around the network dropping the 1% rewards with each move in order to smooth out the block emit cadence. Alternatively we could do another "swap" and move the chain to an ERC-20 token. Thoughts? -dvd

Even if SNF was a common enterprise (which it is not, it did not do a raise for 2GIVE but rather a swap for the existing Givecoin) Non-Profit Entities are exempt from registration with the SEC. My sense is that they are under a lot of pressure, either from shareholders, regulators and likely both. -dvd bitrex and I generally don't like. there were problems with the passage of kyc, and now generally like it to work.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] [2GIVE] / Bittrex Removal / Migrate Coins to Personal Wallets / Exchanges

Dear Stakeholders:
I'm disappointed to report that Bittrex should be releasing some communications shortly that will explain their rationale for the removal of a class of coins, tokens and securities that includes 2GIVE. I'm sorry I cannot provide more information at this time as we are under NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement), and I can relay that there is nothing that could be done to save the listing. In the mean time I suggest that everyone remove their coins to their own wallets or send the coins to one of the other exchanges like FREIEXCHANGE https://freiexchange.com/market/2GIVE/BTCor YoBit https://yobit.net/en/trade/2GIVE/BTCStrength in Numbers Foundation (SNF) will work diligently with other exchanges as well as continue its work with BTM operators around the world to provide a legal and compliant way for stakeholders access to liquidity. Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] [2GIVE] / Total Coinbase Under Inflation Target / SNF Reconsiders Staking
|
on: May 07, 2019, 12:26:24 AM
|
To date after nearly three years of continuous staking, 2GIVE has only achieved a 520M coinbase.
This is significantly below the design target of 550M
One of the unintended consequences has been a hoarding of coins at exchanges that do not stake the coinbase on behalf of its accounts.
Strength in Numbers Foundation (SNF) voluntarily ceased staking its wallets and began the slow migration of the bulk of its holdings to an offline trust wallet prefixed Give2SNF*
The board is reconsidering it's voluntary sequestration of the original GiveCoin* wallets putting coins onto the seed node networks to re-enable staking AND re-initiating it's coin-drop distribution method of bouncing coins around the seed node networks in order to smooth out the cadence of block production.
If SNF moves forward, the coin drop will be a combination of on-network and off-network paper-wallets to be left at random locations with maps to VaultLogic BTM's on them for redemption.
