1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As a beginner is it too late ? on: April 03, 2018, 01:59:11 PM
It's never too late to start investing in crypto. In present it might seem that you need a lot of money to start trading but is not true. Just make sure you don't invest more than you afford to lose. Wink
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔥ANGEL TOKEN ICO IS OVER 🔥THANK YOU TO OUR 400+ INVESTORS! on: February 13, 2018, 11:51:46 AM
Very interesting project for the first dive into the investments for Angel. With their future listing on next.exchange this couldn't have been better planned. Gonna go buy some UIS right now Cheesy
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A ban on trade in China on: January 16, 2018, 12:09:14 PM
They're coming hard for peer-to-peer platforms, such as LocalBitcoins. It is sad to be honest to look at these attempts.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Record high traffic on: December 15, 2017, 01:51:37 PM
I can't say anything about bitcoin, but Ethereum's high traffic is caused apparently by Cryptokitties Smiley
Apparently? Smiley This has been happening for a while and everyone pretty much agrees on it, there is no "apparently" in regards to that old news  Smiley
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Angel Token ICO today? on: November 27, 2017, 08:50:54 PM
Well the concept is great and not something I have seen on any of the investment funds and groups. I think it's basically an angel investment for potentially high valued coins that aren't doing so well at that point.

There are loads of coins that get pumped every day for no apparent reason but to have someone (like a whole team and community) work on a sustainable pump, that thing right there has real potential if it works.

Work for me. Maybe try clearing your cache?
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin transaction fee keeps increasing? on: November 09, 2017, 10:17:05 AM
It's also that most likely the network is more congested today than it was yesterday. $4.5 billion have been transacted in the last 24 hours, double than before.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Surviving segwit2x hardfork on: November 07, 2017, 09:26:27 AM
I've been careful about this split since the first time I heard about it, maybe in May or so. I see that people are cashing out and choose to be careful. I did so too a while ago although I could have waited longer and get even cheaper alts. But it's fine, I chose my way.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So again BTC is ATH at the moment. Are you still holding or already sold it? on: November 02, 2017, 07:37:16 AM
Everything is possible. I sold some, I'm holding some. I think it's going to go higher next week though but I feel like $7k is a good price for me to have sold some.

And I'm here all waiting for Bitcoin Diamond 7.0 Cry
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC gold and BTC cash confuses me on: October 23, 2017, 07:54:56 AM
Hello

so i am aware of the hard fork that generated BTC cash and the hard fork that will generate BTC gold, but what confuses me is the prices and market caps that these coins gains so fast !!

i was here when BTC cash is forked, in the first hours it reached 10B market cap !!

does that mean that the whole cryptocurrency market increased 10B ??

is it like 10B $ just transferred to the crypto world from fiat ??
No, it doesn't mean that fiat was turned into crypto, it just means that the price of the last transaction for a coin (be it, BCH, BCT) is multiplied but the total supply of that coin. The market cap doesn't mean much at all, it's just an idea (although most times a bad one) of the worth of that coin compared to others.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do geeks in China launch their ICO project now? on: October 20, 2017, 08:32:34 AM
Move to Japan?  Grin Nothing like a fun trip to go raise millions.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ideas for new altcoin? on: October 19, 2017, 05:19:35 AM
Ideas are the easiest part of creating an altcoin, execution and follow up are what matter. But if there's no idea, passion or need you want to fix in the market, there's little point in asking this on a forum where everybody's complaining by the space being too crowded with new projects...
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Russia starting ‘CryptoRuble’ !!!!!!!!!!!!!! on: October 18, 2017, 05:10:34 AM

I also wonder what will happen if all the nations have their own crypto currency, then what will be the role of bitcoin ?
[/quote]
Worst case for Bitcoin, it becomes the gold of the pre-crypto world. Highly regulated, not (that) easily tradable but still of value and also with intrinsic value due to moving large amounts of money fast and cheap (hopefully).
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold will be another Bitcoin Cash? on: October 17, 2017, 02:50:05 PM
Will be worse I say, doesn't have so much community around it and lacks the support I saw bcash had.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or BCC or BTG on: October 16, 2017, 09:13:21 AM
Dude , most of the people will choose Bitcoin of course. Looking at Bitcoin cash I don't feel that people will ever show interest in Bitcoin gold. Bitcoin itself is the best option so far and will always be unless some other cyrpto currency doesn't surpass it.
Best option for what? For you to hold, for you to invest, for you to trade, for you to pay for a coffee? While I also think BTC can't be dethroned, all these forks come from a different NEED of a part of the market. I don't think BTC can be a 'one size fits all needs' of the crypto world and that's perfectly fine.

There's no real competition between Core and the forks (although the forks might want to think so), they are simply different coins for different purposes.
17  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin unstoppable now on: October 13, 2017, 10:17:15 AM
Careful on the dip though. But with 2 possible forks it's hard to know what sort of dip will follow. Maybe very few will cash out after Bitcoin Gold.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Vitalik Buterin's health declining? on: October 11, 2017, 12:42:45 PM
Short hair and bad lightning make him look like he has some sort of cancer. It reminds me of the late pictures of Steve Jobs somehow. Either way, I hope he gets some healthy days coming his way.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to buy less than 1 ETH? on: September 21, 2017, 03:13:35 PM
I buy small change cryptos all the time but most of the times I put orders and leave them be, as I try to buy a little cheaper than the market is at that moment. If you buys smaller amounts more frequently it also hurts less if ETH drops from $400 to $280 as it did a while back.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spending Bitcoin These Days on: September 19, 2017, 07:03:18 PM
I see more and more merchants accepting Bitcoin but I feel many are missing the point. I, along with the vast majority of you, hate spending my Bitcoin. The only reason I would spend Bitcoin is if I can get a 20%+ discount on an item or service that I would be purchasing anyway. This also assumes I can immediately purchase more BTC to cover what I spent. I have done this before for purchases on Purse, then buying the BTC right back on Coinbase. The headache alone is hardly worth it. So merchants! It's great that you accept BTC but give us a compelling reason to spend it at your establishment, otherwise we really don't care.
Exactly!!!!! Not long ago I have seen a local merchant charge EXTRA if you wanted to pay with BTC. It's absolute crazy how they thought that would work?? I wish I would have screenshot it. I for one don't spend any, I'm only trying to get more.  Cheesy
