401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: what coin are you mining longterm? on: July 31, 2017, 01:30:00 AM
I'm actually dual mining ETH and LBRY.

Selling ETH and keeping lbry for long term. The thing is the idea of LBRY itself is interesting so I'm keeping it for  the future.
Monero looks good but naah doesn't capture my attention that much.

Dual mining ETH/LBC, gona change after ETH go POS no move before.
And i w8ting my D3's ...

No one knows what gpu mining will look like once ETH goes Proof of stake. Hopefully this doesn't happen soon.
We're all happy how things are now Cheesy
402  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What will exactly happen in my wallet on august 1st ? on: July 31, 2017, 01:26:41 AM
Having BTC in multibit, exodus, electrum or whatever other wallet where you own the private keys, what will exactly happen ?

in the case of a wallet that supports only BTC, will it start supporting BCC too ? otherwise, what happens ?

and in which exchanges it will be recommended to trade BCC ? except kraken

If the wallet that you use is going to support BCC, you will get the same amount of btc you own as BCC.

So if you have 2 btc , you should get 2 bcc. And have both of them in the wallet/exchange.
So far I've seen bitfinex and bittrex statements which confirm this.

Take a look here:

Bittrex: https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000808991-Statement-on-Bitcoin-Cash-BCC-

Bitfinex: https://www.bitfinex.com/posts/212
403  Other / Meta / Re: Spam Attack . beware must read and need someone to check if it is key logger on: July 31, 2017, 01:24:02 AM
I just got one message and I taught it was a bad phishing attempt but when i saw this much message on Meta section now i got some interest in this.I'm good at malware and phishing analysing.I checked my PM box but the message was deleted so if somebody have the full link ( it was something like google.sh/blablabla.com ) can somebody send it to me without clicking it?

I don't think this is a phishing attempt. They're just spamming the forum sending a lot of private messages to users.

I don't know if such things can actually affect the forum. Hopefully not *fingers crossed*
It got DDOS attacks several times in the past and made it go down but I guess cloudflare or a similar service was applied.
404  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin split and BitGo Online wallet on: July 31, 2017, 01:20:51 AM
So you need to put your bitcoin in a wallet whose private key is known by you. Electrum for example.

And from where did you come up with the information that BitGo doesn't give the private keys ?
Oh yeah your amazing full wide knowledge.

Quote
BitGo only offers you your private keys once, when these keys are created, in the form of an encrypted PDF Keycard. Therefore, you will only have one chance to save or print these keys. If you did not print or save the keys in any form, there is nothing BitGo can do to distribute your keys back to you at a later time.
405  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin split and BitGo Online wallet on: July 31, 2017, 01:10:10 AM
I found this article which dates two days back.

In short, they don't have the time to support Bitcoin Cash if the hard fork actually continues. So, if you want to benefit of the situation, move your coins to a wallet that will support BCC.

406  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Virtual Credit Cards TO VERIFY PAYPAL on: July 31, 2017, 01:05:07 AM
You just created a similar thread 15 minutes ago about the same thing and using the same image ??

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2055475.msg20500658#msg20500658

This isn't the way to sell mate. Try giving two or three free vouches first to trusted high ranked members in order to attract others.
That's if you're actually legit.

And It'd be useful if you tell us the source of these credit cards which are going to be applied to the accounts ?
407  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Selling Full member account on: July 31, 2017, 01:00:38 AM
link?

Of course he is not going to share the link otherwise people will flag it as a sold account and it would be useless as it will get rejected from signature campaigns.

Just use an escrow from this list if you're going to buy anything on the forum in order to be safe.
408  Other / Archival / Re: site Algorithm ?? on: July 31, 2017, 12:53:54 AM
Your ranking depends upon your activity.
Look at your name under it you'll find posts and activity. That's what I'm talking about.
And to understand how it works, read the following..

The activity number is determined in this way:
time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration
activity = min(time * 14, posts)

Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.

Activity is updated every hour.

The new membergroup limits work like this:
GroupRequirement
Brand New0 posts
Newbie(none)
Jr. Memberactivity: 30
Memberactivity: 60
Full Memberactivity: 120
Sr. Memberactivity: 240
Hero Memberactivity: 480
Legendaryoccurs randomly between 775 and 1030 activity

I'm not 100% sure that the membergroups work correctly. Tell me if you see any bugs.
409  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling bitcoin for paypal, dont care about chargeback on: July 31, 2017, 12:42:49 AM
This is the true definition of FUN.
But let's just break it down Cheesy

Paypal only.
Some may say im crazy and that i will get investigated for fraud and my bankaccount frozen but for me it doesnt matter since, well, i have A LOT of bankaccounts and cashout methods for paypal so.

You have a lot of bank accounts and methods for paypal ? If you're going to withdraw to whatever bank account, you'll get caught.
You might turn around the cash here and there but that's just another felony. You'll eventually get caught don't worry.

First of all, NO ESROW!.Transfer the monney from other ip and computer if you want to be safe. That way you can allways get you monney back by saying your paypalaccount got hacked.

No escrow (no escrows deal with PP any way since they know it's .... ).
I guess you know nothing about paypal mate. Once a user logs in to an account from a different ip and computer, the account automatically gets locked and he can't do anything with the funds in it until he sends some id that confirm the data registered on the account.

-You send monney to my paypalaccount and after 1-2 days, when i got the monney to my bankaccount or cashed them out in other way, you get your coins.
-If chargeback accours before ive been able to cash out the funds, you will not get your coins. Obvious for most i think but just so everything is clear.

This is just LOL and LOL. Like saying hey I'll buy your car but I'll take it and park it somewhere you have no idea about first and then come and give you your money. If you call the cops I won't send you any money.  Cheesy

-I can wait maximum 7 days if paypal decide to hold transaction. When they are released you wil get your coins. - I charge 13% on all orders

Useless line.  Grin
410  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Will I automatically receive bitcoin cash on blockchain.info? on: July 30, 2017, 12:42:00 AM
No you won't get any BCC from blockchain.info as they didn't give any statement about it.

Until they say something, it means they don't support the hard fork (i.e, they won't add it to their wallet).
They might be waiting.

Just use myceilum. It's better.

There is no private key on blockchain.info wallets, so he can't export or import private keys that never exist.

It used to have the option to export private keys. Did they remove that feature ? That would be so weird and why ? (I mean since they used to have it as an option before)
411  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it ok to buy bitcoins on ebay? on: July 29, 2017, 09:51:52 PM
Why use e-bay to buy bitcoins and there's other much better and more specialized places to do so.
You can easily get scammed and not receive any bitcoins.

Just because they have good offers doesn't mean that they can be trusted. Don't let your attempts to pay less fees make you lose money.
412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazing Support for Bitcoin Cash! on: July 29, 2017, 08:50:28 PM
So what ? That means and adds nothing to the facts.

Exchanges are just businesses trying to get some fees from new users.
The list has grown exponentially just 3 days before the FORK!  Amazing support! Will the parrots start to follow now?  Grin

Exchanges

ViaBTC
OKCoin
OKEx
Bithumb
BTCBOX
MercuryCash
Huobi
Kraken
Coinfloor
Bitfinex
Bitcoins Norway
BitGrail
QuoinExchange
Korbit
QuadrigaCX
BTCpop
HitBTC
MercadoBitCoin
Toubi

WHO ARE THESE ?

Just two or three are known. The rest are brand new ?

Oh yeah and since BCC is gonna be against BTC . Where can you use it to buy stuff ?
Oh sorry I just remembered that it's just gonna be as any available altcoin.
413  Other / Archival / Re: Have bitcoin, need Paypal money on: July 29, 2017, 08:43:54 PM
This post looks like you're promoting this website.

Please no one use that exchange unless you make enough research on the internet that this exchange is legit.
There's a lot of famous exchanges which are well-reputed than this one.

Never put your money anywhere (especially if it's crypto as it's irreversible).
414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where will you keep your bitcoins on D Day? on: July 29, 2017, 08:40:05 PM
The best option is to keep your bitcoins on a hardware wallet such as a ledger.

Actually if this split happens, your private keys should lead to your old wallet with btc in it.
Just make sure you keep your coins out of any exchanges or online wallets and have your private keys saved somewhere safe if you don't own a hardware wallet.

and find a campaign in the active section that accepts your current position.

Try to maintain good high quality posts in  order to get easily accepted. (i.e no spammy posts and reply only when necessary )

416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about others altcoin than Bitcoin on: July 26, 2017, 12:32:38 PM
Problem is that most business owners are to lazy to implement Bitcoin. They won't miss much sales when Bitcoin is not an accepted payment method. So volunteers (Bitcoin supporters) need to explain it's value, potential and implement the system. If Bitcoin gets more populair under business owners they will probably hire someone to do it. I just don't see this happen for 20 other coins.

The real problem for businesses is bitcoin price volatility. They work with USD and are happy with it.
They just look at it that it's too much tention for them to accept a form of payment that doesn't go with the rest of the business.

I mean even if they accept crypto, they still need to buy goods with USD. What if btc price goes down at time of buying ? Then that's a loss.

That's why they just ignore the whole crypto thing.
417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about others altcoin than Bitcoin on: July 26, 2017, 12:28:40 PM
I only look at altcoins as a means of earning money.
But do they have real real potential to be widely accepted and used in the future? I don't think so.

They exist and will just for trading/mining profits.

But actually this doesn't apply to all of them since some coins introduce new stuff as siacoin and lbry (you can read more about them).
They aren't just some other coins but they introduce a new decentralized system for doing the old things in a different way. That's what attracts me (not talking about price and earnings at this point ).
418  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you not using Decentralized Exchanges? on: July 26, 2017, 12:24:34 PM
I've never heard of that exchange ? (seems like an ad to me lol).
Anyway, these exchanges are centralized since they deal with real fiat money which is regulated by governments.

Actually I won't trust an exchange that's not legally registered. I don't know why but that's just what I feel is right.
If you can explain why the one you specified is better than the popular ones now, it'd be great.
419  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it prohibited to participate in pay-to-spam campaigns? on: July 26, 2017, 12:18:02 PM
What kind of campaigns is this ? I've never heard of such.
Anyway don't spam the forum otherwise you can face the consequences of getting banned and most of the signature campaigns literally lock out anyone who looks like a spammer from his post history.

Try to make good quality posts that add something to a discussion. That's how you get better.
420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: luck behind bitcoin earning on: July 26, 2017, 03:11:06 AM
As if we all can't see that you simple added your refferal link to some gambling site or something🙄
Any way, how do those two lines need you to open a discussion?

Just lock the thread.
It's lame 😐
