It's too much time past my bedtime for me to do math right now to see if that value was right for the time the post was posted; check https://blockexplorer.com/q/getblockcount and see if the number is close to what your client says

It was two people, they weren't taking a dump, they were joining the mile high club.

"One passenger became ill, another went to check on him, and there was never more than one person inside the restroom at any time."

Here's one story...

Quote
Police temporarily detained and questioned three passengers at Detroit's Metropolitan Airport after the crew of a Frontier Airlines flight from Denver reported suspicious activity on board, and NORAD sent two F-16 jets to shadow the flight until it landed safely, airline and federal officials said.

The crew had reported that two people were spending "an extraordinarily long time" in a bathroom," Frontier spokesman Peter Kowalchuck said.

The three passengers, who were taken off the plane in handcuffs, were released Sunday night, and no charges were filed against them, airport spokesman Scott Wintner said. FBI Detroit spokeswoman Sandra Berchtold said authorities determined there was no real threat.

Taking a dump on an airplane?...

It was two people, they weren't taking a dump, they were joining the mile high club.

If you say so, I don't see any "Last Edit" info for this post. Seems I actually don't see that info for any post in this whole forum, maybe because I'm still a freshman.  Grin

Where can i find more information on what exactly is in the way of upgrading to 2.somthing?
788  Other / Meta / Re: Info about the recent attack on: September 11, 2011, 07:37:08 AM
Though if the intention was to steal data, the defacement stuff would be a dumb move, if they stayed hidden they could have stole shit for much longer.
789  Other / Meta / Re: Info about the recent attack on: September 11, 2011, 07:27:56 AM
They don't provide a way to convert the data to the new format or somthing like that?

Or you mean there are some addons you use that are essential that haven't been updated to be compatible with the latest version nor have equivalent alternatives made for the latest version?
790  Other / Meta / Re: Info about the recent attack on: September 11, 2011, 07:21:34 AM
Why upgrading to the most recent version of SMF is worse than switching to a whole'nother forum backend? They didn't make it backward compatible?

What question would've earned me the most if i had asked it instead of this?

What happens if Liberty Reserve suddenly vanishes and alll I get is 404 Server Not Found?
Why would that question have earned me the most?

I think having this, at last, will ease the paranoia a bit. How much of a donation would you like, good sir?
You can pay me whatever you consider my help to be worth to you (but of course, within your budget :)

Perhaps you could make a screensaver that behaves like that?

798  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here we go again, bitcoin exchange rates have been doing just fine on: September 05, 2011, 08:55:25 PM
Thanks to the OP for the log graph, pretty interesting way to look at things!

Most people that bought coins to hold them, imagining they'd make a x100 profit were mistaken about bitcoin's very nature...
Or just about the timescales involved
799  Economy / Speculation / Re: $/BTC Time Series Analysis on: September 05, 2011, 08:28:24 AM
Estimating the likelihoods of events for the next few days, IMO, is pretty close to being just another way of saying you're trying to predict the future.

I wasn't aware the computational requirements increased significantly for making predictions further into the future than just a few days though, i assumed the predictions would just get significantly less certain. If i knew  answering my question would require significantly more work than what you were already doing i don't think i would've asked it.

The top hats still get their bonuses 'cause otherwise the company would loose money; if they didn't get their big bucks as usual it would send the message the company is fragile and doesn't expect to keep making money and the investors would run away. Like this guy mentioned in the video, the top guys in the drug gangs still make it rain even when busyness is bad, for the fear of showing weakness.
