I have avast too, its saying that wallet is infected, also virustotal found viruses too,
I would be very careful about this wallet!

best bet is to compile the wallet yourself

Hi everybody.

I noticed http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/MINT/markets.php is not working. Is it down for good? Can we get it back?

It looks like he took mint out of the supported coins list: http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/index.php

i checked the mint page everyday, hopefully he can add it again.

presstab was removed due to resource issues.

Good morning everyone,

I suppose I owe an explanation for my disappearance.

For the last year I have been under-employed working 60+ hours per week trying to make ends meet. 40 hours at our local grocery store making near minimum wage plus 15 hours freelancing, 5 hours working on administration work for our lawn care business and everything for the mintcoin on top.

I did indeed completely burn out in June which I decided to take a break from my beloved mintcoin community in efforts of freeing up more time for my family.

My work was sparse from that point moving forward - mostly financial support and occasional administration. In November my back went out which has resulted in a severe case of sciatica leaving me to rely on short term disability to come through while caring for my back.

Mintcoin has been on my mind; however financial income to support mintcoins hosting needs have been spotty while awaiting income to come back into the house.

In December I cashed out my mintcoins (except for 1 million) to secure bills and offer Christmas presents for my girls.

At the end of December I finally achieved employment in my field of expertise which will allow me to reduce my employment hours into reasonable amounts of time while financially supporting my family as well as favorite hobbies including crypto-currency Smiley

As a community coin we need to have a backup plan that does not consist of starting all over whenever life hits the fan for one. With this said I would like to offer Ursay a copy of the mintcoin official wallets, access to the primary hosting for all mintcoin assets as well as keys to all Mintcoin social personas.

My plans are to come back in full-force starting February as my back is slowly healing and life is getting back on track.

I anticipate a heavy buy in come tax returns as well (stock up now because I love nothing more than pushing the mintcoin price up

Much Love Everyone.

Sincerely,
Jessica Hartman

Here is some old post about leocoin

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=917232.0;all

Thank you for finding that, in there you'll see that it was mentioned a few times THEY promised a $5 floor... If they aren't going to hold up their end of the bargain, they can't expect users to do it.

Did anybody notice that something is wrong with staking ?

After 90 days stakes were only 40%-50% of original staked amount, but few days ago they were around 100% of staking, which should be correct for all staking amounts.

Anybody know the reason for that ?

after you staked, did you stack them as 1 block again or leave them as multiple?

It was 1st staking for those coins. I leave them untouched from depositing to wallet.

What to do for 100% staking in the future, since those can't be reversed, so coins are lost because of staking failure ?

everytime you stake, the stake splits from 1 to 2 to 4 to 8 to ect.

If you want 100% everytime, you have to send them to yourself again as 1 block.

I remember the dream of 5 gbp Smiley

@wildduck

5 GBP is a nice dream, but who knows where the new year will lead us ...

Although the LEOcoin Foundation is not trading LEOcoins, I already mentioned that the current price is regarded too low. However, if those who sell LEOcoins would stop selling them, it is to be expected that demand will raise the price. To what level remains to be seen, but as ever, that is the task of the market mechanism of supply and demand. So I can only give one advice; when you do not want to be long, simply cash in; when you are long, now is as good a time to buy as ever. Buy low, sell high and you will be happy.

I think Dan and Atif need to put some money from rigs they sale back in LEOcoin over leoxchange and price will start to rise!
Also leocoin foundation need to do some advertise for leocoin too!
Dev team need to do some updates like electrum wallet etc !!!
Also merchant site LEO did is a joke ! Need huge upgrade !
Also LEOcoin need to be add to some big exchanges!
And many more.....
Then price will start to go up and all will be happy!

I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news... but the people/company behind leocoin, runs nothing but pyramid schemes

I think not!
Leocoin is legit cryptocurrency!

But LEO company is MLM and not much peoples like MLM ! I also not like!
We need wait few weeks to see if we all lost money with LEOcoin or we will be one day happy!
Stay positive and wait 😜

stay positive and wait... leocoin has been around for months, and the price really has done nothing but drop from the start... I actually had leocoin when it first started, and after calling their scam of them wanting users to set the $5 floor and not themselves, I sold mine off.

How can you expect LEO company or anyone to set a floor? Does anyone here know anything about free markets and rules of trading??
OF COURSE the users of an exchange will set the demand and supply and thus the price (rate) of anything, not a company or a person. What should a company do, keep buying everything under $5 so you, the miners, will be able to dump all your coins??? Pleaseeeeeee people, learn the basics of the market before you talk.

Learn the basics of research, oh wait you can't because they've since deleted everything that ever said "There will be a $5 floor for this coin"

ive had my wallet open the past few days minting
and a few min ago i just checked it and on the overview tab the right side is now white and says account suspended in grey letters
anyone know what this means?
still syncing and says its unlocked and minting so idk

I think wallet was fetching all those links from a website & that account is suspended. It should not interfere with working of wallet so you should be fine. Although this is not good for image of the coin & wallet security. I thought those links & images were in wallet code. I hope that is removed in next wallet update.

you would be correct sir

Once you have it synced, it is fairly easy to maintain. I personally, just make sure to let it run overnight at least once per month and that is basically all you need to do to maintain it. Especially if younthink you will need access to some coin in a few days, it is a good idea to do. MINT does about 87,000 blocks per month, so it is a lot to sync, but I just think of it as the tradeoff for a fast coin. There is literally almost no wait with transactions, and it is awesome! After using MINT for a while, you'll get used to the speed for transactions. Then try having to use BTC again and other coins to send to an exchange or something and it taking more than 5 minutes or more, using BTC especially will start to make you angry. Speed for MINT is great if you want to capitalize on an arbitrage opportunity or something.  No waiting. Bam, its there. Love it!!!

Yeah i see what your saying, but seriously what is mintcoin useful for? i have had it 2 years now and have never seen it offered as a pay,ent option.  do you not think it is completly out of date?  i have already sold at poloniex.

not to sound rude but you haven't done your research then... there is a site that accepts it as payment

can anyone explain why when dowloading the block chain in the latest mint coin client, the amount of progress jumps about one day it's 30% and then the next its 21% also the amount of blocks change one day its 567948 then next it 1737264.  it all over the place ?

(the blocks there are just examples not the actual block)

I think its because of where checkpoints are put by devs in the blockchain, but i am not sure. The client sees till closest checkpoint i guess & when it is synced to that point it searches for next checkpoint & so on.

Crazy i have had this running for over a week now and still only at 54%.  it has been in the 60's at some stages but then i check again the next day and i have went backwards........ like seriously why is anyone even bothering with this coin anymore?Huh?  as soon as i can send my coins im outa here, sell sell sell, 1 satoshi will do...... Embarrassed

Do you need some help?

Thanks very much for the offer, but i just realized i can send my mintcoin to the exchange with out downloading the full blockchain.  Are you still interested in Mintcoin @crzybilly?  if so can you tell me why, i remember thinking it was great when it first came out but i just cant see any increase in price or use for this coin, can you ?  i loved the whole POS but has it got a future?

I'm interested because well... I'm helping work and improve it... I know what's coming and I see the development team they have and am impressed with it.

met some leocoin people last month, and they don't even know who is developing the coin or the how to mine this one..

they just use bitcoin's name for marketing and insert this coin in the conversation/presentation....it is being used for pyramid scheme.

this is an obvious scam..

and nice try making a coinmarketcap https://www.leoxchange.com/ and inserting your coin just below dogecoin...rank #7 BULLSHIT why not rank it #2 haha scammers

P.S. the leocoin people i've met doesn't even know bitcointalk

I've made quite a few comments on their twitter awhile back... then they blocked me because they didn't have answers like so:

#cryptocurrency looks like the price of leocoin is dropping because $5 floor promise not upheld by @LEOcoinORG. You should keep your promise

and

lol @LEOcoinORG blocked me because they've been found out, they are running a #scam in the #cryptocurrency world. #leocoin scam.

oh and my personal favorite

@LEOcoinORG #leo #leocoin find out how Leocoin will be the next paycoin. promises without delivering. $5 promise made, not kept.

Just a reminder to all... Leocoin had once promised a $5 floor

Well there hasn't been any video updates lately. What happened to the regular podcasts?
IMO, we should have them at least on a trimester basis, or quarterly basis. Something to recap the latest from the past 3-4 months.
The reason its good is because it is a summary of all the happenings without the avg general public user having to work through a bunch of different sites to figure out what's going on.

That's on cryptomommy... she's been rather busy lately, and reimaged her machine to be windows based
