I must disagree. You are looking at the shortened vs. the long one "15D232D0 F89D6EF8" vs F89D6EF8 I've been using this key for almost two years without a problem, it just seems there was a signing error. I re-ran it through gpg and found that it was invalid as well. Odd. Below is a proper one, I must have messed something up, it was ~3am for me -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Pretty self explanatory. I haven't bought bitcoins through MTgox for a year and now there is so verification system for Dwolla accounts? It has yet to finish and I have USD sitting for who knows how long up there. I'm rated on the OTC. http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=bobberb-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (MingW32) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJRF+hYAAoJEBXSMtD4nW74FS8H/0xAKU8+OOthMuOWxmoOLhQM 1BDanJ/4zsA/U7IV308k2EhkAB4HnjLPYvs+I3om13L1N+oYNXItdQtKq9Kq6Ly1 9DkNPhgpkboccrQhTlwx1957GqAmtTUdtFNyGBhdPdxr7fEldCWYt144j40iDbYk OEK+E4TQzgXOwbfp3qytF0v4VjLSOfO81L5nf7uqTosY93o8zEJwNnlXhlcHslQ+ 6TjFPgxIM7mCoohyYtA69TxbHz90GnK6HB6Ljz/+UUhSCBXj124sSmHuunSXGBhK 44QVL1R9vZGut7OdyUkhsxCSh6t2BIPyLg0Czq7JGY4yLPrIUBORa/QaLVKSUts= =r2Wp -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

(411.33995574 / 3041) = 0.13526470 per share has been paid out in dividend. This brings us up to 100% paid back Thank you all for your patience and I yet again want to thank INAU for honoring his promise even though the terrible situation he was put in. I am going to start delisting the asset soon, as there's no reason to keep it up anymore. //DeaDTerra +1 to DT, INAU, and imsaguy

2.2080185 GIPPT 2012-09-25 04:18:41
I have 19 GIPPT shares, so that's 0.1162115 per share if I'm not mistaken.
Great :-) seems like the dividend worked even though the asset was delisted. //DeaDTerra Can somebody work out the total principal repaid so far as dividends? I have not held the shares for the whole time to be able to work it out from my records. DeadTerra, could you possibly put up a spreadsheet for us to see what has been paid back when and what % of the principle is remaining?

So what is the plan? Any timeframe for the payback yet?
The plan right now is to keep the conversation with the depositors and settle anyone that would like to trade their GIPPT shares for debt. We are offering +10% if you take IMSAGuy or HK debt There's no timeframe atm as it depends on the depositors. //DeaDTerra What kind of assurance do we get that our debt will be paid off before IMSAGuy's or HK's other debts?

I'm sorry to say, but I'm afraid it was a big mistake to invest in this bond.
If Pirate starts paying back on Monday, we will get our money much later as the people that invested directly with Pirate (without insurance). Pirate's paying back by account-age, so if you invested with BitcoinMax you will be one of the first, but with GIPPT it can take up to two weeks according to Pirate. After that, there will be some additional delay, because it has to be transfered to GLBSE. It seems we'll really be the last in line, and this is a big disadvantage while prices are dropping because of cashouts.
If Pirate decides not to pay back, we will also not see our money anytime soon. I expected INAU to start liquidating immediately after the news of the closing, but he has done nothing at all. The escrow funds are still with imsaguy, and INAU hasn't even requested them back yet. Even if he decides Monday that it's finally time to request a withdrawal, it will take at least two weeks, because he has to give imsaguy two weeks notice. After that, there will be some additional delay, because everything has to be transfered to GLBSE. So again, it seems we'll really be the last in line compared to the other insured bonds, and this is a big disadvantage as we don't know how the market will react to a default.
So in both scenario's, it seems GIPPT is the worst possible option. I really hope DeadTerra and INAU take their responsibility and buy us out this weekend, but it seems its just not gonna happen anytime soon.
Those worst possible options assume a default. We do not know Pirate's financial situation, but we know that the DeadTerra is a respectable and honest member of the community. INAU also has his reputation to protect. You read the prospectus, you knew the risks and how the process would go. Let's let this play out and let our man do his thing.

Hi DeaDTerra, I agree with everyone else - please feel free to invest the GBF funds into other business ventures that you control but not with Pirate so that we can keep our Pirate exposure separate from GBF (I use Bitcoinmax myself).
Thanks and keep up the great work!
As a GIPPT investor, who understands it carries minimal risk compared to pure pirate, I don't see a problem with including it in GBF.

In the document list of your investors, how can I figure out what my number is? I would like to keep track of my balance. Thank you very much in advance He gave me mine when I sent him an email, probably best if he didn't advertise your # here.

I want to buy, but I'm still reeling from the inconsistency of Skepsidyne, which I sent roughly 10 BTC to which I will probably never see again. Also you said Because when we up out pricing as of Oct 1st, these will be valued by our contract pricing. If you bought now for .1 and we up our pricing to where a 1yr 1ghs contract is 2k, then the share would be worth at least .2 each. And so on. That would be why. Plus at this rate, all share will be sold within 2 weeks (just sold 200 between reading your post and typing this)
By 2K, you mean USD right? 2k shares would cut our investment in half. ".2 each" Assuming their is a buyer... Sorry if I sound doubtful, it just don't relish the idea of losing another 10BTC

There are a lot of IRL companies that keep trade secrets from their shareholders. In fact, securities law prohibits sharing information with shareholders that is not also made available to the general public at the same time. Shareholders are shareholders - they are not managers or even directors. In some countries shareholders that start to act like managers lose their limited liability shield.
I respect tawsix's right to keep the exact rig recipe secret and support his reasons for doing so. The information he has chosen to share is fine by me (price and hashing speed). I do not support (and neither should Nefario if he wants to legitimise GLBSE) secret information being made shareholder only. If shareholders don't like this they can always sell or just not buy in the first place.
SkepsiDyne is neither a legal entity by SEC standards nor is inside trading a crime in my view. Shouldn't those willing to take risks get the rewards of early access to info regarding those risks? Can government limit speech? This is not the place to be talking about the law, but assuming the Bitcoin community loves free markets, free flowing information, and a consistent moral code, insider secrets should be regarded by non shareholders as irrelevant to their own affairs.

Twaz - I know the motions are still down, and Nefario prolly needs another day of rest, lol. I'm really liking the new eligius.st pool system ( /3/ which I use as my primary currently), and I use BPM as my backup.
A preferred list of motions I'd like to see is:
Motion 1) Vote to take some percentage of all the rigs, and put a few miners on a few of the popular ones for 48 hours. I know it'll prolly bust your stats a bit, but I'm always down for research. Maybe like 4-5 pools? I trust your due diligence in the matter.
Motion 2) Given the results of the testing, a Yay motion to choose the top pool as backup, with the second winner as a backup-backup, third as a backup-backup-backup. Given a catastrophic failure of multiple pools, to authorize you to choose at your discretion.
Motion 3) A Yay, so that once every 2 weeks, take a small percentage of the mining resources to be used for testing that will update this list of backup pool priority, that will be posted on the stats site.
I'd actually prefer it if the results of the research remain only given to the shareholder. And a small fund reserved for the assasination of a shareholder found sharing this information.
If one pool is better than our current one, wouldn't we just switch to that instead of leaving it as a backup?
