1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are rich countries rich and poor countries poor? on: July 19, 2017, 07:31:40 AM
History, Climate, Corruption and natural resourses.

I think reallifelore did a video about this a while ago, they said that natural resources (i.e. more is bad) and corruption allows a small minority to screw over the majority is poor countries.
That means the rich don't need the poor, so they stay very poor. Many of the richest people in the world are from the poorest countries though.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi advertise about bitcoin like alt devs doing now? on: March 06, 2017, 03:25:09 PM
His posts on Bitcointalk are still there to be read.
No he didn't try to pump bitcoin, he generally just tried to help people and introduce improvements to his new currency.
3  Economy / Services / Re: WhyFuture.com Twitter Campaign on: January 20, 2017, 03:01:45 PM
How do you guys get so many real followers??
I have 200 or so!
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: January 20, 2017, 02:30:31 PM
They have to follow guidelines so that they don't get closed down.
It sucks, but at least they are running a good exchange!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DOGE] Will history repeat again? MOON on: January 20, 2017, 02:27:29 PM
Doge isn't going anywhere. People are into smart contracts and coins with emerging tech. Doge and LTC need development. LTC is getting some but needs more. Doge needs something special to keep it going otherwise I fear it will die off in the next year or two.
It could pump again, I mean LTC has pumped in the not too distant past.
I will be selling if it pumps to 60 or more though, then I am out for good!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why isn't there Two Factor Authentication on Wallets? on: January 20, 2017, 02:26:09 PM
Electrum has 2FA, Alts won't because they aren't nearly as developed as Bitcoin.
ETH doesn't even have a real functioning wallet!
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: New ATH by July 2017 on: August 17, 2016, 08:37:41 AM
I am not so big on buying at above $500, when it was $300 I was 99% sure it would rise, at $500 I am 75% sure.
I am positioned now, and don't really want to average up, but if there is a ATH anytime soon, I will be very happy!
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin: 3 outcomes on: August 12, 2016, 11:56:24 AM
Litecoin is a relic of the past when there were basically no alts around.
It offers very few advantages over Bitcoin, but lacks the blockchain strength and first mover advantage that Bitcoin enjoys.

If Bitcoin fails, there is very little chance that Litecoin will succeed, either crypto would be done, or some newer crypto tech coin would be number 1.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: create a new alt coin tell me on: May 03, 2016, 01:04:49 PM
Don't create new altcoin
Agreed
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to get 200 Bitcoin??? on: May 03, 2016, 01:01:54 PM
How to get 200 bitcoin easily???
Give your opinion here Cheesy maybe will be usefull for newbie Cheesy
Btw I will get 200 bitcoins tomorrow

If you are getting 200 bitcoins tomorrow, maybe you should be telling us how!
Otherwise I would suggest buying them from an honest source.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin new trend? on: May 03, 2016, 01:00:25 PM
Isn't the point that you don't need a card, you have it on your mobile device?
I guess if it helps people to use Bitcoin, then so be it, but it seems a little silly to me
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XCP] Counterparty - Pioneering Peer-to-Peer Finance - Official Thread on: March 07, 2016, 11:13:48 AM
After the fix, the price seems to be creeping up.

Maybe now that ETH, DASH, FCT, XMR, EXP ETC have all have their turns, XCP can enjoy a nice rise too.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin of 2016? on: February 23, 2016, 10:16:25 AM
Whichever you have invested in is obviously the best one.
That and CLAM of course Wink
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: I will invest! on: February 23, 2016, 10:15:13 AM
would you post somewhere outside of the bitcoin world that you have say $50 and you want to invest it in any idea that will result in you getting more?

No, so why do it here?!  If someone is seeking investment, that is one thing, but walking around with your cash hanging out asking someone to take it as an investment is a bit odd!
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any advantages from gambling? on: February 23, 2016, 10:12:54 AM
IMO apart from having fun I think there is no real advantages in gambling.

Most of gamblers loose money in the end.

So if you can afford to loose some money for the thrill of maybe winning more go ahead and bet some money, otherwise stay away from those site.

Fun counts as an advantage!  Otherwise is there any advantage to going to the theater, or meeting with friends, or drinking alcohol?!
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your biggest problem with Bitcoin on: February 23, 2016, 10:10:59 AM
for me the biggest one is transaction comfirmation times, like for many others.. sometimes it takes few minutes and sometimes hours...
to send it yes, but not to pay with it. 0 confirmation payments are fine, I have done it several times in restaurants and the payment is always done after 3 seconds or less!
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think miners will start to switch to altcoins? on: February 23, 2016, 10:09:15 AM
with ASICs or with GPUs?
I think they already have partially switched with ASICs, and those with GPUs have all long since switched over!
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you with or against "the U.K. quits the European Union" ? on: February 23, 2016, 10:07:22 AM
I don't think that the UK really wants to be part in the EU, they have different goals.  They should probably leave and join a trade pact, then the EU can continue on without them.
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: Try luck on: February 23, 2016, 10:02:42 AM
Nice statistics.
But where is the loss?

Yeah I'd like to see top 20 PD losers list  Cool

AKCoin would be on top of that list for sure...
Yeah i think so his loss is huge 812 btc. i just hope that 812 btc was his play money otherwise he got screwed well.
AK is up 500+ btc after he lost . he not stop is up his play end of lost.

Yaa... Much won then lost Sad life is loss

i am also interested to see the top ten losers on primedice with their stats. although i don't think it is a good idea for their business to release such information since it can be discouraging Smiley
If you play long enough on a dice game, you will lose. That is clear, you have to play a quick in, quick out strategy.
Either that or enjoy the game and accept that in the long run your 'hobby' will cost you money.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: February 19, 2016, 09:11:28 PM
Suddenly, without warning:

More than $32k in no time at all! People are crazy! Oh well, 33 extra clam for me Smiley Also good to see that if he had been lucky I wouldn't be wiped out.
