bitcoin is a digital currency . it is money in the digital world. inorder to make it stable currency it should be utilized by many number of people for a longer time. when something becomes famous it is automatically used by several other people. the government will recognize its value when the whole world starts using it and hence it will be stable.

When the government has recognize bitcoin, he will ask the high tax for that. Government always make a tax for anything from his people. I think bitcoin doesn't need intervention from government.

I fully agree. BTC is a revolution, a reaction to centralizated systems !

i smell bull same as all this Tor is compromised stuff. If your to stupid to use Tor. or Tails safely then dont use it. the only security flaw i know of with Tails and Tor is addons like javascrypt and user stupidity (sadly the last part is hard to educate and nearly impossible to update)

i thought Linux viruses were very rare because you need to give them privileges to do anything. I have not heard of tails yet.

Yes but it seems to be make your cpu rans as  bastard and then your VM is not recognized as itself. Not seems to be a rootkit, maybe a software to knows the identity of tor's users, expecially DM's vendors as I've red in some onion forums  Tongue

Nice, how fast can this think go? Probably going to be really useful when winter comes. Warm your feet!!! Smiley

Not sure, but I'm going to find out.  I think 400GH or so.  Can undervolt to 250GHish at .75w.GH, supposedly.

Very nice setup.  Please share results.  I have not seen much of this miner before.  Mind if I ask ballpark of cost?

Seems expensive with such a nice cooling system.

$20 for the miner itself, the rest of the stuff I've used so far I had laying around(I've been mining for a while, you accumulate...stuff).  This is basically just something for me to tinker with.

Daammmnnn... where do I find those for that price in Europe?! 'sigh'... Smiley

Aahahahah it's really cheap! Maybe he invested with icos in some project :\

For the money I have, I'd buy 5 in the next week, if they were for that price.
Well, I guess I'll just lay on my bed tonight thinking on them... :p

ahahahah,  now you have to post the photos of your next start!
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Satoshi expect Bitcoin to last this long? on: May 19, 2015, 06:50:18 PM
Yes, because the mining process was purposely designed to take a long time. Though, what is surprising is the adoption and buzz already. I expected it to be out of Star Wars....like a rebel alliance type currency.

I guess it was only a prototype designed for funny. He did not expected anything from it!

Bitcoin is still ethereal and mysterious to many people. Many people get their news from the press, hearing the talks about the illegal activities and the rise and crash of the price. If any acceptance is to happen it will have to be after a renewal of information.

That's true bad news travel faster then good news. People are just looking at the news that media is providing them and they just start to believe it without any research or investing their knowledge in it and Government is supporting media to do so as Govt is also against the bitcoin.

Too much people link btc to dark martek. This is the worst advertising you can do to btc. Govts hate to lose thiers controll to people

I think he was expecting for years that the BTC will be a successful and useful to the economy.

I think so too. Maybe even decades.
Or he is one of us, pretending to be someone else. Maybe a big exchange admin...impossible to say
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi still have plans to access his coins? on: May 15, 2015, 05:53:04 PM
Forget about what his intentions are.  But does Satoshi have plans to access his coins again?  What do you think?

I guess he has lost his wallet. Whereas not he thought that btc would have a so huge impact. He have had so much time to wash his btc and stay anonymous, but he still stay away from that fortune. It is too much strange!
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can someone tell me who is this girl? on: May 15, 2015, 02:11:35 PM

I made the mistake to jump into crypto alts.  I saw some really interesting technology,  thought it would balloon similar to btc.  I couldn't survive the emotional roller coaster and lost a bit.
I saw what was happening and coverts all assets to btc for hold.

Feels better with btc.

The altcoin scene is just a big game for people trying to make money.  Pure greed, game isn't suited for everyone.
It is not always as you said. Sometimes growup good coins  Grin
