1561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Communist Party on: May 31, 2011, 01:02:45 PM
We are equal only by rights. Using oportunities and own abilities is a personal deal. If you are good in what you do it is justified to profit from it. Not to profit from your abilities is unjust, so is equal profit distribution - it just gives the lazy a**holes the benefits of the working minds.

P.S. Communism sucks. I've witnessed it, total fiasco ...

There is no right, only rights that we enforce through brute force and agreements.

Still looking for writers.
1563  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Communist Party on: May 31, 2011, 12:59:04 PM
Equality of opportunity is justice.  Equality of outcome is injustice.
Opinion of bourgeois like you do not really matter, simply because the proletariat mass is larger, and it's we who set the rules in the bitcoin world. In other words, it pays off to the proletariat to take the unjustly acquired money from the burgeois. This will happen soon and there is nothing you can do about it.

The anonymous did nothing productive other than DDOSing hated sites. Who care about them?

Satoshi, on the other hand...invented bitcoin. Now, that's productive and constructive.
1566  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Democracy and Voting = a choice? on: May 31, 2011, 06:27:25 AM
Does democracy provide real choice because you get to vote every 4 years?

What if you take that concept for anything else, let's say cars. There is only 1 car company in the world, Ford. You get to send Ford your suggestion every 4 years "I want SUV" or "I want fuel efficiency" or "I want a convertible" or "I want a pickup truck". And whatever suggestion was most popular, Ford would do that for the next 4 years.
Do you still call that having a choice?

Yes, it's a choice. The question is: is the choice a good thing? What is the good thing, anyway?

1570  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to persuade Google to accept Bitcoin on the Android Market? on: May 30, 2011, 08:23:02 PM
I think the best way to win google over is not a massive petitioning effort but to let google engineers work the bitcoin idea deep inside google.

1572  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: eBook by Satoshi - legit? on: May 30, 2011, 04:18:29 PM

There's something fundamentally wrong with a person selling someone else's work for a profit without permission.  I personally wouldn't do that.  But it's really up to the author to enforce this, if Satoshi wants to.  On the other hand, I have no proof that this isn't Satoshi that's put the eBook out there, or that he hasn't given permission.  So really I should mind my own business.

There's nothing wrong with making a paper available to more people, even if people pay for it.

1579  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Could we get an economy of freelancers doing mini- or microtasks going? on: May 29, 2011, 06:18:27 PM

I'm aware that the rate (converted to USD) is rising. I still think the offer is much too low to seriously consider.

What else would you use your time for? In other words, what is your opportunity cost?
