We do not have access to Dashcoin.net, the official twitter account, dashcointalk.ml, or github. If Darkcoin lost access to all of those would you say that would cause issue with value and function? In addition, Evan Duffield made a public statement saying the Dashcoin project would NOT CONTINUE. The same way I could buy the bitcointalk.org domain (if the current owner is willing to sell) and shut the server down if I feel like it. So what was your point again? They were bought for the sole purpose of ensuring that, and I quote Evan, "The acquired project itself will not continue". As myfarm said earlier in this thread, the IRS has determined that cryptocurrency is property in the USA. As such, Evan bought assets for the purpose of reducing the value and function of other people's personal property. Doing this in Arizona is a very very very bad idea. |

The fact is, Evan Duffield has tampered with the personal property of Dashcoin holders and reduced its value and function. If you live in Arizona, that's not a good idea.
Do Arizonians have a certificate of ownership of said coins? And When did Evan tamper with personal belongings? Function was never reduced as the code was unchanged and no new version roll-out existed, limiting functionality. As for price, well, its a free market, deal with it. When I first read about what Darkcoin did to Dashcoin a couple days ago, I was angry. Since then, I have come to realize that Darkcoin is made up of a bunch of bullies. I HATE bullies. As such, I would like to propose a community takeover of Dashcoin which I will lead. I have a gameplan which will begin with:
1. A formal request for the official twitter account from Darkcoin.
2. A formal request for the dashcoin.net website from Darkcoin.
3. A formal request for access to the official Dashcoin github.
Depending on how they respond will determine my next steps. I assure you I have a strong game plan either way.
We would continue to use this thread for a short time.
I have some coding skills but would likely bring in a friend who is much stronger than me.
We will use all legal means at our disposal if Darkcoin doesn't comply with our requests.
We must fight the bullies that have tampered with and reduced the value and function of our coin.
Any objections?

If you're wondering about that, you should REALLY be wondering how Dashcoin is calling itself Dashcoin when there is already a Dashcoin seen here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=678232.1540You guys stole a name first, now others are just following your lead. It's Dash not dashcoin. Same thing. Dash is a coin. As this thread has shown, having Dash and Dashcoin creates confusion. That's all the courts need to know. |

I just heard about how Darkcoin is stealing the Dashcoin name. Shame on all of you. I was strictly bitcoin and avoided all altcoins but have bought some REAL Dashcoin in support. I will do everything I can to make sure what you guys have done is known by all. You're all a bunch of clowns.
