121  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastDice.com LAUNCHED | Fast Rolls | Fast Deposits | Fast Wins |Daily Happy Hour on: March 13, 2016, 01:29:06 PM
Well it's a quiet day and the boss isn't around. Drop by the FD chat 6AM GMT (1 hour 50 mins) for Diablo's random fun.

There will be cake...

EDIT: The cake was a lie but 8k faucets were won!

today being a Sunday, I was not online and therefore did not see this. I hope several people were lucky to get the 8k faucet. it always evades me when I am online. I have never been lucky with the 8k faucet whenever it comes.
122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling can be profitable in the long run! It is possible! on: March 13, 2016, 01:26:14 PM
I don't think this is true, There is always an edge against the player and although some players end up with positive profit but overall it's not profitable but the opposite for majority of players.

gambling for a long time depends also on the emotions of the player. People who have gambled for a long time and learn when continue and when to exit will benefit in the long run. For example, one gamble and even double his investments, when he becomes greedy and goes on to gamble in order to gain more, he will end up losing everything. The trick is to know when to continue and when to exit from a gambling house.

From the look of this, it seems paying slow down.

For future member seeing this, this is a proof that its a scam, no one is depositing new that why theres no new Payments.

who believes in such trash? so many sites are taking the advantage of blockchain to post fictitious payments and yet people believe in them. I can also do the same by copying transactions from the blockchain and claim that those were payments from wallet. just try to follow those transactions and see if they are all from one wallet.

126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: March 11, 2016, 05:08:15 PM
Anything called currency can be used for both legal and illegal transactions. Even before the introduction of bitcoins, money laundering and drug peddling was existing. So the invention of bitcoins has just come in to enhance the trade. Therefore you cannot blame Bitcoin for these age- old actions.
127  Economy / Lending / Re: bitcoin loan website getline.in is it legit? on: March 11, 2016, 03:25:14 PM
What information do people have to provide to borrow?

Actually, the site looks quite new and the information to be provided is very little. Their customer care representative asked what collateral I have but when you visit the site, there is no place to declare the collateral that you want to use. May be the will improve with time
128  Economy / Lending / Re: ➤➤ DarkStar's Lending Service [COLLATERAL OPTIONAL] 0.55 BTC+ Avaliable! on: March 11, 2016, 03:21:07 PM
Hi, I am requesting for a loan as below:

Bitcointalk Username:matete
Amount of BTC needed:0.01
Source of Repayment Funds: payout from yobit signature campaign
Repayment Amount:0.011
Repayment Date:7 days from date of disbursement
BTC Address you want the loan funded to:16DAHP9XX5vT5hvxUacy8kosiVikadjCRR
Collateral (if any): This bitcointalk account

Sorry, but I'm going to decline. Your account wouldn't be worth 0.01BTC if you default.

Thanks for your feedback. I respect your decision. Lucky enough Yobit has released the payment. I hope to make another request in future.
129  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: March 11, 2016, 03:18:33 PM
Looks like the signature campaign manager prefers to keep quite but do by actions. I also managed to transfer the signature payments to my wallet. I can see no one is now making noise about the button working. Next week it will be he same thing-people complaining about the button not working. All of us should learn to be patient but Yobit should also be communicating about the button not working.
130  Economy / Lending / Re: bitcoin loan website getline.in is it legit? on: March 11, 2016, 07:22:35 AM
I placed  request for a loan on the site but I don't know it can be tracked. I was able to enter the details but there was no option of creating an account on the site. How does one know the progress of the loan?

Could you link me to your getline profile ? How much was the loan request for ? What could you use as collateral ? People only invest in you,if you're quite trusted and officially a approved user on getline.in.If your next question is how to be a approved user, take a loan with proper collateral, pay on time and increase your trust ratings.Send me your getline profile.

Unfortunately, when I tried to access the page I was unable to log in. I instead registered afresh and my profile is https://getline.in/u/472. I can use my bitcointalk account as collateral.
131  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: March 11, 2016, 05:09:03 AM
Suspect if its not reloaded Friday its empty till Monday at best. So make plans as if that will be the case.

You may be right on this one they usually disable the button on saturday and open it on tuesday or wednesday but since it is almost weekend the most that we can expect is Tuesday or wednesday next week, this is the longest time they disable the transfer button and hopefully my prediction is right that they will open it next tuesday

Yobit.net are acting weird. Whoever is running this campaign knows that there are people to pay and that the payments are supposed to be instant. Any change from this should be communicated to the concerned people. Why are they not telling us anything? We are patience yes, but it is good to communicate to avoid anxiety from those participating. We can wait even for one month as long as there is communication.
132  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: March 11, 2016, 05:05:06 AM
Quitting a job at this moment because of bitcoin will be quite insane. If you have a regulate income then you need to stick to it and treat bitcoin as a complementary to your income. You can only quit when you are very sure of what you are going to do. I know of someone who deals purely in bitcoin but has started some other businesses to support it. Bitcoin has not established itself strongly to warrant a person to go full time.

134  Economy / Lending / Re: bitcoin loan website getline.in is it legit? on: March 10, 2016, 08:59:45 PM
These is a new project similiar to btcjam, where you take the risk to loan to others, the sucess of the investment and loand funds is where you invest the money but no one can say that the project isnt good the people that goes around loans sometimes are just scammers, but there are honest persons that pays ,but without an valid colateral these days lending to a person that we dont know is a huge risk bigger then gambling or trading.

I am getting REAL IDENTITY as something like collateral.
Just by removing anonymous borrowers i am able to get low default rates.

Think about it - you can lend money to some stranger online (that was credit scored) or to a friend that you know personally.
If you know somebody and you know where he lives there is smaller problem with people defaulting. And once they default they will be never able to take any new loan and they personal record will be stained forever as displayed here ( http://www.shamelist.it/)

By lending to people you already know and trust you are safer than lending to total strangers. Global collection is hard to do and just look for default rate on btcjam or loanbase.

I know that investors are looking for hard data - therefore each borrower profile on getline is public, all can be audited and checked by audit company

I placed  request for a loan on the site but I don't know it can be tracked. I was able to enter the details but there was no option of creating an account on the site. How does one know the progress of the loan?
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 10, 2016, 08:37:19 PM

Picks for this saturdays prem games =

Norwich City v Manchester City   1 - 0  to norwich  (come on!)

Bournemouth v Swansea City     2 - 1 (fancy bournemouth to keep winning)

Stoke City v Southampton    1-1 or 2-2 (score draw for this one)

I can't agree with the Norwich vs Man City tip. I will be very surprised if Man City lose that one.

yeah I do not agree. Whatever the reason Manchester City must win to secure a Champions League ticket, because competing for the title has gone far enough. The worst result I think draw against Norwich City.

Given that Man City are out to redeem their lost glory, they can't go out for less than a win in this match. They have lost several of their matches in most recent encounters and therefore will not allow Norwich to sink them further down.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: March 10, 2016, 07:46:04 PM
The only safe method to gamble is to gamble using money that you can afford to lose. Also gambling should be done as a form of entertainment. Using your hard earned money to gamble to will lead frustrations and lead to high blood pressure. Also, when you gamble as a form of entertainment, you are not under any pressure to win, therefore the wins will come automatically
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: March 10, 2016, 07:39:47 PM
I believe gambling is addictive because of idleness or lack of a constructive activity. I say this because a month ago, I was on vacation an the only thing I could do when I logged into my laptop was to signin to a gambling site. Mow that I am back serious work, I don't find time to gamble. Instead, the little tome I get as free is used here on the forum.
138  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Cryptopay Bitcoin Debit card + Giveaway on: March 10, 2016, 06:26:27 PM
I received the promo code to order for the plastic card but unfortunately, I came to realize that the card not be delivered to my country. The process is still pending until I enter my delivery address but I cannot. What can I do as I have already spend the promo code and cannot change it to the virtual card? Any ideas?

Hi! Would PM you with instructions, cheers.

I received the promo code for the virtual card and have already activated it. I am just waiting to deposit a few bitcoin and test it to see how efficient it is. I just wish I would get the plastic card so that I can withdraw from ATMs and shop from Visa branded outlets. The card provider should consider expanding their network to African countries also as Visa is well prominent here.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: March 10, 2016, 06:05:08 PM
Price is very important for any currency, whether crypto-currency or fiat. The volatility of prices for any currency is what makes it matter most. When prices are low, people will tend to buy more with anticipation that it is going to rise so that they sell to make profit. This even happens with commodities and other money markets. Therefore price of bitcoin is equally important.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: March 10, 2016, 05:53:19 PM
I would not actually agree to the allusion that bitcoin will make banks disappear. What I foresee is that banks will tend to adopt the use of bitcoin and even encourage customers to bank in accounts with bitcoin wallets. Just like we have bitcoin wallets with different providers, banks will also introduce bitcoin wallets where customers can deposit their bitcoins.
