The mission of Waya Wolf Coin has not changed too much. First and foremost it is a coin for commerce and then charity for the
Wolf Park. Simply put the Waya Wolf Coin, is for commerce. Use in stores is primarily the current use. A goal of the Waya Wolf Coin is to establish a higher sustainable value so that payment services can use it. The problem seems to be people dumping the coin at 1 or 2 sats; when they could wait for much better prices. This has left the coin struggling to get to 2 sats and stay there. I wish to raise the price to where it was when the now defunct Crytopia value was, 115 to 150 sats with a high value of over 500 sats. So please do not just dump, think about what the coin can be, and please think of the development of the coin which is in everyone's best interest. I mention dumping because it is the sole thing, in my opinion, that is holding back the value. I only mention this because it is a major reason for the new wallet.
As I said, the primary use of WW is to be a commerce coin. Therefore we need to raise the price and stop people who dump. Under the script algorithm, people who could rent or possess large scrypt miners can control the flow of WW Version 2 coins. Hence, I sought out an algorithm where everyone can mine via CPUs, resistant to GPUs and even more to ASICS. The algorithm selected was BMW512, which allows everyone to mine via their CPUs. The time between awards is more rigidly followed. Additionally, the difficulty for the POW and POS varies with the number of blocks that have been minted or mined. For example, If the last 4 blocks were POW the difficulty for POW rises and the difficulty for POS decreases and vice versa. If one was to solo mine you would get a lot of "Boo!"'s simply because you need to find the block. And the next block time is several minutes away.
This leads to an interesting proposition. Suppose you have 4 cores, you could pool mine WW version 3 with 2 CPUs and have 2 CPUs left over. These additional cores can be used to support the
Wolf Park or the costs to the coin. These other two cores are quite valuable for the
Wolf Park.supporting our charity and help with the cost of running WW, which isn't cheap!! A script is given below for those who wish to mine like this. This script can be used for mining solely WW.
Our History
Waya Wolf Coin, WW, was initially released on October 21, 2016, as a payment method for items in the now-defunct Cryptopia Store. It was a pure Proof of Work, PoW, coin aimed at low-hash individuals so all could mine it. This wasn't the case. And now, almost 5 years later, we have remade Waya Wolf Coin to be a hybrid coin: Proof of Stake, PoS, and PoW. I feel now is the right time to make these changes and Waya Wolf Coin Version 2 was born.
The Waya Wolf Coin Version 2 retains all of the features of the Waya Wolf Coin. It is still meant to be a payment coin. WW Coin had a fair release with no pre-mine and was a pure POW coin. It had an approximate total of 10,500,000 coins and the initial reward was 25 coins. It has halved twice and the current reward is 26.25 coins. The reason for the parameters of the coin and the fair launch was to make WW accessible to all by mining. These factors make WW an excellent coin for payment services. The WW Coin is supported on several platforms, including the Gemmer Multi wallet a 64-bit Android wallet. This allows for easier ways to pay for goods and services. Additionally, in Version 2, we took on an aspect of a charity, namely the
Wolf Park.
Version 2 did not accomplish its goal of making mining available to all. It allowed for people with access to large script hash to mine and dominate the mining pools and raise the difficulty of mining to high levels. When these rigs were shut down the difficulty could be left at levels where those who did not have access to asics would not be able to essentially mine. However, since there was POS present the blockchain was still able to move forward which was a problem with the original Waya Wolf Coin. Version 3 uses the BMW 512 algorithm which is predominately mined using cpus so all can mine. Only CPU mining will be supported. The minimum of a 4-minute time interval for between blocks is strongly adhered to. This means the emission rate is 15 blocks per hour or 360 blocks per day.
This slowing of the emission rate means not all processors are needed to mine Version 3 of Waya Wolf Coin, leaving some processors available for other activities. It is suggested that if you have a 2 CPU core to mine WW with one and use one to Mine for the
Wolf Park, it is suggested if you have 4 cores to use 2 cores to mine WW, 1 to mine for th
Wolf Park, and 1 for the support of the coin. People don't realize how expensive it is to keep a coin going, you need at least 2 VPS but typically 3, a web space, fees to pay for exchanges, and many other hidden charges, not to mention the amount of time it takes to run the coin.
The Rationale
Waya Wolf Coin, WW, was initially released on October 21, 2016, and it was always a coin that was about equality. However, the mining part is still fraught with errors. 51% attacks on the mining side to cause high difficulty that requires a large hash miner. To fix this problem, a cpu only mining algorithm ______ is used to fix this error in mining. Now everyone can mine WW since it only requires a cpu to mine. The miner is good and if you have a number of cpu's you can mine not only WW but for Wolf Park our charity and for the coin itself helping to pay for monthly expenses and yearly ones coming up in a month, March 2023.
There are many other changes to the new coin, just waiting on the wallet to be completed, last time I talked with the dev was today 2/25/2023.
