141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 17, 2017, 04:45:17 AM
I got caught by the pump & dump, but fortunately got out without losing too much.

Many are also got trick by bch. One of my friends got by this like when he saw that bch is in uptrend he immediately bought some but unfortunately misses the peak like for hours it was a roller coaster ride and he loses 0.3 btc. He was so disappointed from it like he didn't expected that it will easily dumped after it was pumped hard. And he was a victim of hype and drama that manipulated by the Chinese and Jihan Wu and co. And bch now is in silent mode and I can say it was nice try for all of them for attempting bringing bitcoin down.

I was never sure of any other form of Bitcoin like that. I always hesitated and just believed in Bitcoin. Let not BCH, Altcoin or other cryptocurrency I'm also not sure. Especially with people who love to sell their coins just because some moments where the coin is down the price. Basically, the price of any cryptocurrency will go up, yes maybe not all but mostly like that. So it is very important for us to stay patient and keep the coin while waiting for the price to go up. And when the price has gone up and we have many benefits, then that's when we can sell. Never sell if we can not profit.

Therefore I just dare to save Bitcoin alone and never try another cryptocurrency. But Bitcoin also likes to experience the ups and downs of prices.
If you really believe that you need to study markets much more thoroughly. Most altcoins will die before the year 2020 and of those who live until that day most will die sometime between 2020 and 2030. Most coins are utter crap after all, with no value to drive their price.
The value decline might take place without much of an driving force to keep the circulation. I don't think more altcoins will die before 2020. That particular year is expected to make a lot changes to the cryptocurrency world and in reality what happens is completely based on the growth of bitcoin. As Op mentioned an year end price increase will take place, for which it's good to sell all the bch that users bought when the price pumped unexpected.
Most altcoins are completely useless. They were created by people who wanted to ride the crypto hype, just like there were tons of worthless websites during the dot com bubble or tons of worthless startups when penny stocks were hot.

Poor you when said that Bitcoin is dead. Plz look the price now, it will make you suddenly. I have said that Bitcoin cash went up because many big investors pumped it. It is not real.
It's not investors who pumped BCash. Roger Ver and Jihan Wu wash traded and caused a lot of FOMO buy orders.

144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying WAVES? on: November 17, 2017, 03:53:13 AM
I am holding some waves, seems to be a pretty solid platform that has some real potential. Decided to build my ICO on their platform due to the fact that they seem to be pretty well developed and continuing to develop their platform, as well as dex.

I think Waves is one of the best Altcoins. That's because I often see Waves ads and they manage them well. I think it's very interesting because the logo alone is interesting. Lots of people are promoting Waves at the moment so I guess many will have Waves too. Usually a well-managed project like that will be able to raise a lot of funds for the project and the people in it, especially the developers.

Some say that Waves is like Ethereum whose price can grow quickly. So surely people will be able to profit quickly with Waves.
That's true if you're looking specifically at blockchain/ICO platform type of altcoins. But there are quite a few other altcoins that are very promising in their own niche that are worth taking a look at as well.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 17, 2017, 02:30:30 AM
I am afraid that there is a lot of dumb money in crypto and people who want to get rich overnight. I know of people who sold their bitcoins to buy bitcoin cash at staggering price of 1600USD. I pity them.

And now they (if they haven't sold lower) are forming big walls up there. Someone buying BCH now knows he won't be able to sell much higher for a long long time now.

That's why you never buy into a pump, even if it's a pump done by rich and well-connected people.

having that coin already was a good advantage and never to take some risk and just wait for it and hold it but if you are trying to have that just because youve seen it was having a pump scenario this last few days this was not a good idea. i can say that some of us here wont be able to fall for it because we dont have any assurance that it will be good coin to have for.
There are only two types of people who buy BCash.

1. Those who are greedy and don't care about anything other than money, and

2. those who don't understand why Bitcoin was created.

Nobody in their right mind would ever support BCash by buying any of their coins.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: November 17, 2017, 02:27:41 AM
HAHAHA this pump was epic....we need more crypto like Bitcoin Cash. This is really fun. Support level is on the bottom as always and this is going to kill BTC soon or later, hahaha.

...now we are pumping, it went below 1000 USD and Roger Ver with Calvin got mad. Grin
BTrash will never kill Bitcoin.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ⭐ CHIMAERA - True Blockchain Gaming - Private Pre-sale Open on: November 17, 2017, 01:56:05 AM
so we dont know what "CHI" will be worth in any way, essentially?
You never know what a token will be worth. You can make some estimates if you research the relevant markets, but you never know what will happen without a huge margin of error.

What is pretty clear is that CHI will be one of the more successful projects though. And that is saying a lot, because most projects will outright disappear or only remain as monopoly money for traders to play with.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 17, 2017, 01:53:49 AM
I don't think Bitcoin Cash sudden bubble is a joke.
Bitcoin Cash is backed up by a scale of crypto miners who believes Bitcoin Cash can lead the way as the next Bitcoin.

The next Bitcoin is Bitcoin.

If it was going to be "replaced", there are hundreds of technologically superior candidates.

Bitcoin is loved and respected because it's everyone's dad, it's what started it all, it's not respected for upcoming tech or other attributes.

Bitcoin is Bitcoin, Bitcrash is nothing, just a shitty alt with nothing going for it.

Waves, Particl, Neo, Eth, etc. All far superior tech wise to BCH, if anyone's going to dethrone Bitcoin it won't be BCH.
This.
Bitcoin will without a doubt get upgarded once it's really ready for it though. On top of low fees and fast transactions there'll be anonymous transfers and smart contracts as well in the future. Just ride it out.

I am so interested in BTC. I'm trying hard to collect BTC for BCH, collect BTC I do almost every day, tirelessly, for the sake of BTC. hopefully in the future I can be richer with BTC and can glorify my parents. we are all in for a brighter future.

By scamming people and stealing their accounts? Good luck with that, you will need it. Because one day your actions will get back at you.
149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC is dead. The plan is a shift to Bitcoin Cash. on: November 17, 2017, 01:47:17 AM
And now BTC is about to break $8k  lol
Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, are worth NOTHING without Bitcoin.
Because you cannot buy anything else, except trade for BTC or other crypto.

BTC is the back bone.
BTC is the reason any other ICO or any forked Crypto is worth anything at all.
BTC is has Credit cards
BTC is accepted in 300,000 Japanese retail locations, countless Chinese locations, and about 10k-20k USA locations
BTC works with, Namecheap.com GoDaddy, Purse.io, overstock.com, 4 car dealerships that I know, etc etc

No other crypto currency is accepted in any retail store, car dealership, bank, nor does any other have a physical credit card.  Like BitPay.com

BTC is the king, always will be.

To all the haters spamming negative propaganda to promote your forked crypto...  It's hard to hear you up at $8000.
Surprise, surprise. Bitcoin got out of the attack unphased.

You forgot to mention that it's even possible to pay taxes in Bitcoin in some places.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying WAVES? on: November 16, 2017, 11:51:16 PM
Waves is an altcoin which has a really low price. I see many recommends about buying some waves, but I couldn't be sure about that the waves can bring good profits or not.
Just look at how long Ethereum took to go up in price and then look at how young Waves is. Also check the roadmap and the features that are yet to come. Once the core features are out the price will definitely go up and a market cap in the billions should be fairly easy to reach.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash beat BTC? on: November 16, 2017, 12:16:33 AM
So we see that something like a real fight between Bitcoin and Bitcoin cash has started. While BTC fell and go on falling, Bitcoin Cash has shown a fantastic growth!
Does it mean that there is a possibility altcoin will be the winner?

You are imagining it way too much, mate. In reality you are actually looking at a battle between a stray dog and a lion. You are cheering the stray dog apparently. And believe it or not, the stray dog has also bitten a small portion of the lion's skin. But you know how it will end. That is the real battle between the crypto king Bitcoin and the servant Bitcoin Cash.  Grin
I feel sympathy for a stray dog. However, I feel no sympathy for BCash. BCash is more like a roach than a stray dog, and even that would be too much of a compliment...
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying WAVES? on: November 15, 2017, 10:43:29 PM

I'm personally waiting for the next WAVES pump to sell off my waves. It's a nice platform but considering how long they have been on the market I'm not seeing much traction which is sad as I was initially excited by this coin. Maybe, hopefully, I will be proven wrong and a huge ICO will be distributed on this platform.
Considering how long they've been on the market? Look at the history of Ethereum, Bitcoin or any other coin that is now big. Waves is still young and hasn't even fully delivered on its roadmap as of yet. Things take time.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Cash beat BTC? on: November 15, 2017, 10:42:10 PM
It is possible, but not now. You know the price is going down again, BCH may have a rally soon, but 0.18 btc is undervalued, I think the reasonable value is 0.25-0.3 btc.
It's now or never. If BCash doesn't manage to take over anytime soon they will run out of coins to manipulate the market with. Hopefully it'll just disappear, BCash is a scam.
It's more or less over now. BTC gas managed to get up to $6.8k now, do you think BCH is capable enough of making BTC fall again, No. At best people can expect BCH to keep above $1000.
Roger Ver and Jihan Wu still have a lot of BTC, BCash and fiat to manipulate the market with, so they might try to pull off some more stunts in the future.

But given the market's reaction their chances of succeeding have been lowered dramatically.

I wouldn't say it's impossible for them to win anymore, but I just don't see it happening.

Jihan Wu knows a thing or two about psychology. Right now I think he's waiting for nervousness to reach a certain level in the market like there was in the days just before the Segwit2x fork got canceled. Bitcoin holders were expecting a correction and that is when the Bitcoin Cash team struck.
It's actually a good thing that he doesn't seem to be very smart about how to apply what he has learned. If he was less obvious the market might've actually fallen for the BCash scam.
154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying WAVES? on: November 15, 2017, 10:07:59 PM
If anybody is buying waves, it will be the Russians. Waves is not that popular in the west. Waves should have break the glass ceiling on it if it were based in the US or UK. And truth be told, adoption of waves will be easier and smoother than any other token based altcoin .
The current situation has nothing to do with popularity.

Once Waves NG is live with a DEX that caters to professional traders and with smart contracts people will start using it more and more to launch their ICOs/projects on the Waves platform.

Waves I recommend to beginners who are still not familiar with the viral coin. I have to admit that the Waves is developing well and who knows what will be in a few months. My friend has invested a lot and is wondering what will happen next.
It's quite likely that Waves will have well above 1 billion in market capitalization once the features get implemented and people become aware of them. So we should be seeing anywhere from $10 to $300 before 2020.

158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here lives on crypto currency daily? on: November 14, 2017, 07:38:56 PM
Most of the people who invest in the crypto market are those with stable jobs. Some are students or those without jobs. They just want to earn passive income they will use their money to earn. Invest in coin to make a profit for yourself. There are very few people who live on a daily crypto unless they are miners.
I'm not so sure if that is still true today. Back then when crypto was mostly known by tech nerds maybe. But now there's a lot of people from developing countries who most likely wouldn't get a stable job even if they tried.

No there is no possibility that bitcoin cash or any altcoin will win against bitcoin for now since altcoin is traded with bitcoin it is evident that bitcoin is still the main cryptocurrency and some us were thinking that bitcoin cash would replace bitcoin well think again. bitcoin cash is shitcoin it is the bitcoin without segwit with only 8mb blocks and it is manipulated by Jihan and Roger Ver so the BCH pump was pumped by manipulation since they plans to attack bitcoin has failed although the bitcoin price had dropped you think altcoins can win against the bitcoin
Bitcoin price would have dropped after the SW2x fork no matter what. BCash simply timed an attack to take advantage of that to make it seem like the market actually cares.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I hope you guys won't fall for this BCH joke on: November 14, 2017, 05:46:09 PM
Good thing I did not bought BCH because if I did I might be crying right now. I am loyal with bitcoin alone and if by chance I'll buy BCH just because I want to earn more bitcoin by trading bch and that's just it.
Find another coin to earn more Bitcoin with. No need to support Bitcoin Cash in any way or form.

Top Altcoin will offer more than Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ripple, NEO, LiteCoin, Waves and other promising top ALtcoin that would likely surpass Bitcoin Cash' value by next year. I'm very excited for next year's ICO and coins result because everybody's going to invest some underrated coins this year.
Waves actually seems very promising out of that list since it hasn't broken out like the other token platform coins yet. But all of those are vastly superior to BCash.
