...but serial production without a prototype is not practiced anywhere in the electronics industry. Empty box only confirms they don't have chips in production.

Exactly! They could have shown at least one working ASIC chip at CES. At least one single Jalapeno hashing ...

They didn't, which means they don't have a working prototype. Which means:
a) going into mass production without a working prototype is suicide.
or
b) they never intended to ship a product and it's all a scam.

How they will refund everybody? They dont have enough amount for all.

They simply ship what they have:

More specifically this is what BFL brought to the CES convention. What was the point again? To show off all the extra space you have? BFL so fucking fail. LOL!

923  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: 253 BTC Bet that Butterfly Labs will Not Deliver an ASIC Prior to March 1st on: January 14, 2013, 08:03:19 AM
Just what all you trolls have been asking for: A solid date: 2nd week of February.

Is it "honest abe"? Like the October 2012 shipping date?
924  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASIC shipping dates on: January 14, 2013, 07:52:28 AM
Update for BFL: Week of February 10th

Quote
Week of February 10th

We implement the 1/3 shipping plan en mass
1/3 of our assembled units will go to new orders in FIFO
1/3 of our assembled units will go to upgrade orders
1/3 will be randomly selected from both groups

We descend upon the Post Office, DHL, UPS and FedEx like a horde of angry locust

Some funny new sh*t from BFL Smiley

An interview with BFL Josh and his fake ASIC box:
http://youtu.be/5ZUPniBo5UQ

4 minutes of hot air. The interesting part starts at 4:30.

David Perry: "So this is just a case ... you don't actually have ASICs ready?"
Josh: "Um... right ... but we are eagerly awaiting them as everybody else I'm sure ..."
926  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Rep at CES Showcase "ASICs" on: January 12, 2013, 06:45:28 PM
I'm still waiting on my asshamsters, are you backlogged or what?

You are a f*cking idiot! I told you we are not backlogged! We are just waiting for a call from our Asian benefactors when to expect the Asshamster stuffing. There will be an update on the week of Jan 13th with great news. Honest Abe.

We also show living (sort of) asshamsters at CES. But don't come and visit us - we don't want visitors.

Here's a picture of one taken with my Nexus 7 :

http://www.thebitcointrader.com/2013/01/253-btc-3577-usd-bet-that-butterfly.html

I wonder if this bettor has inside information.  That's a lot of money to put on the line without some sort of information to back it up.

Yes: 0.88
No: 253.69

Come on, Josh/Inaba - put your money where your mouth is! If you are so convinced that you ship in February it will be easy money for you.

929  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Rep at CES Showcase "ASICs" on: January 12, 2013, 11:17:37 AM
Someone else should go there and do the same thing just to get an explanation about what that box is. Also they should ask them about the status of the ASIC chips.

Not necessary.

BFL posted a video on their website that answers your question:

David Perry: "So this is just a case ... you don't actually have ASICs ready?
Josh: "Um... right ... but we are eagerly awaiting them as everybody else I'm sure ..."
930  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Butterfly Labs Rep at CES Showcase "ASICs" on: January 12, 2013, 11:13:26 AM
What a fucking asshole, I wonder how many people are going try to pull orders when they see that "BFL_Josh" blatently tells someone to "get a fucking clue" when the man walks up and asks him "What is this box, I am having trouble understanding what it is"

Not BFL asshamsters!
Just have a read at https://forums.butterflylabs.com/pre-sales-questions/668-sounds-like-fun-angry-guy-visiting-bfl-ces-2013-a-4.html#post10082

Comments are like:
I might just buy another Single SC after listening to that.
+1 to Josh

See? BFL lemmings want to be scammed!

Sure, if you want me to start on the prosecution's work for free I'll be happy to oblige. Public interest and all that. To wit, your lies:
...

+1 Would love to hear Josh's rebuttal, if he has one to each and every point he claimed was false and there was now proof.

Josh will never reply to this! He is afraid of facts like the devil is afraid of holy water.

He will ignore MPOE-PRs post and keep on trolling.

Josh is a coward.
932  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be at CES2013 (Official Thread) on: January 11, 2013, 11:12:05 PM
I've already requested Josh's video on the BFL forums.

He won't publish it. All you get from Josh are weasel comments & excuses & blatant lies.
933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be at CES2013 (Official Thread) on: January 11, 2013, 10:35:37 PM
Oh get a tape measure out and just finish the pissing content already...

One of you will be saying "I told you so" in the near future. The other will slink off having been ridiculed by the entire Bitcoin community.
Until that point, chill the hell out...

Go back to BFL lala land forums and shut the f*uck up.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be at CES2013 (Official Thread) on: January 11, 2013, 09:51:54 PM
Micon, you do realize that hundreds of people have taken high resolution photos with real cameras of our equipment this week.

What's the point of taking pictures of empty boxes?

You said yourself in an interview that you posted on your website :

David Perry: "So this is just a case ... you don't actually have ASICs ready?
Josh: "Um... right ... but we are eagerly awaiting them as everybody else I'm sure ..."

I entered BFLs Ad Week 2 Little Single SC Giveaway contest with this pic. How's that for a start?  Grin

Too bad the whole thread turned into a "BFL-Scam?" discussion.
This is a valid discussion in itself, ...

There was a poll/discussion some time ago - but the mods thought it's off-topic:

[POLL] Should BFL get a Scammer tag?

@ Friz

We should have a contest some day to create the funniest pictures.

We have no chance. Josh would always win:

I am pretty sure he just wrote something laced with stereotypes just above me. Glad I cannot see it anymore.

Come on, dude. You need Inaba. And he needs you.

You are like Batman and Joker.

Or more like Jokeman and Bonker Wink

The lovely anti-semite "joke" he tried to tell me at the end of our encounter was also classy.  I don't know if he thought I was Jewish or what?

No, he thought you were dumb. Which you are.

He in fact is Jewish. Hence he can't make anti-semite jokes. Only funny jokes. Grin
