We should talk more to our children, and in friendly way, not in parent-child manner

I like everything you have, but why "Creat the fear of God in them"? Do you think fear is a good thing to teach your child?
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: At what point will one say that he or she has had enough money? on: September 10, 2022, 02:26:02 PM
Do you think people can ever say that they have enough money??? money is never enough. the more you have, the more you need
10  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia shuts off Nord Stream gas pipeline indefinitely on: September 10, 2022, 02:24:31 PM
Not nice news at all. War is war, but I don't want to pay thousands just to keep minimal warmth in the house. And people have children!
11  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Power Or Money ? on: September 10, 2022, 02:22:16 PM
It's a difficult question. You can earn money from a power but you also have more power using money. I'll choose money because money will help you make friends with power people
I think everything is possible with money. You can get power with money if you want. Sometimes an educated person becomes worthless to a stupid moneyed person. People respect a fool with money these days. So I think money is power.

you may have loads of money, but due to your social position people may not want to have any business with you, so seems like power can't always be bought with money, right? like in the middle age

14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Teachers deserve more on: August 15, 2022, 09:04:57 PM
Definitely! In some countries teachers are very badly paid. And you are right, they are the basis of the social system in general
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Religion in our society on: August 15, 2022, 09:03:10 PM
Crimes and violence are the part of the society as long as religion, unfortunately

Some religions, yes... but others no.

When a person says he is a Christian and that is his religion, if he doesn't follow it, is it really his religion? Or is he a liar?

Check out the New Testament, the whole basis for Christianity. There is no call for violence other than self defense a little. Just the opposite. There are only calls for religious, Christian peace in the NT. The problem is people.

And if you want to say that Islam is the religion of peace, check all the places the Quran says to do violence: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=888757.msg10381547#msg10381547.

Cool

But what is the real chiristianity? It has been changing through years. Moreover, the Bible can be understood in many different ways
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The effect of drugs abuse on youths on: August 07, 2022, 09:08:09 PM
Drug abuse is an absolutely scary thing. We should talk more to our children, show good movies like Requiem for a Dream and if it's nor enough make little excursions to the places where drug abusers live
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What exactly do certain conservative group/people gain by "controlling women"? on: August 07, 2022, 09:03:16 PM
If you look a history, everything was going along good until we gave women the vote.

 Cheesy

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why People Use Bitcointalk on: August 07, 2022, 08:52:37 PM
I can't speak for other people why they choose this particular forum, but I can say what exactly I like here:

1. Lively and active community.
There will always be people who report on changes in the crypto world and beyond. Forum participants will immediately join the discussion of these topics, which allows you to get different points of view on the same situations. The more opinions we take into account, the more objectively we can get an idea of what happened.

2. Knowledge base.
Discussion of technical (and not only) questions allows readers to use this forum as a place where you can find a lot of answers. Information is constantly being accumulated and added to, which makes this information base in a sense evolving.

3. Historical component.
All the same, Bitcoin and Crypto Era began with this forum and bitcointalk is of great importance in the development of thecrypto community and bitcoin. A lot of important events happened or began here and it's nice to realize belonging to this community, albeit on a modest scale.

4. Events and competitions.
If the community is active, then various contests will not be rare, as you can see for yourself. Starting from the art conquesst and ending with the culinary contest, like pizza-day contest. There is a wide variety of them.

5. Signature and bounty campaigns.
It would be hypocritical not to mention it. It can be considered a nice bonus to be able to participate in this campaigns.

In one form or another, some of the items on this list are in other forums, but I think they are far behind the bitcointalk. And if compared with the forums indicated by OP, then for the most part they turned out to be "half-dead" (almost inactive), in my opinion, when I looked at them.

Absolutely true! The only thing I would change is the design... It's too old for such a progressive forum as this one.
