1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [$XVG] VERGE [POW][MultiAlgo][BLACKHOLE][Entire Line of TOR/i2P Resources] on: July 29, 2017, 07:26:28 PM
I tried to download and use the newest version of the windows qt wallet and Norton keeps deleting it with a "heuristic virus" warning.

Anyone know why this is happening?

because most anti virus scanners are crap and automatically block miners, which our wallet has built in.

Smiley makes sense Smiley Thanks!

4  Economy / Services / Re: Need Mining Pool to Confirm TXID Please... on: May 24, 2017, 02:08:42 AM
So my friend just used an old wallet to send a bitcoin transaction and fees were set low in the wallet settings. Fee per byte: 58.997 sat/B in the TXID. He fixed that issue for future sends but this transaction is stuck in limbo.

We just tried this: https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ but can't seem to get in. Keep receiving an "Submissions are beyond limit. Please try later." response.

Does anyone know of another pool service to get the transaction confirmed? Preferably a Trusted member of the BTCtalk Forum?

We'll be glad to pay a fee for their help and service.

You'll most likely get help by someone but you can easily bypass the 'Submissions are beyond limit. Please try later.'

Right now it's 00:28 AM (on my end at least) so when it's 1:00 AM try inserting your transaction again, it'll work.

Just don't let it hit 1:05 AM or so, viaBTC only accepts 100 transactions per hour and they're gone quick!

Best of luck.
They are getting confirmed literally the second it hits 0:00:00
LOL
I know a couple. They charge the fees x2 (current expected fee)  +.005
is this acceptable?

That's fine, but they'll have to get the transaction confirmed FIRST or we'll have to escrow the 0.005 fee until the transaction clears with a trusted member. Just your rating is not that good, nothing personal.
sure. send me the transaction

PM'ed you the TXID
Thanks, give me a few hours..

Ok I'm locking thread for a few hours to give you time.

Lontongmie delivered! Sending your BTC now man and leaving you some Trust. NICE WORK!

Locking thread for few hours to give "Lontongmie" time to get TXID confirmed.

If unsuccessful I'll open job back up. Thanks everyone for the advice!

10  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] BitcoinTalk Hero account on DefaultTrust - escrow accepted on: June 02, 2016, 07:59:12 PM
Another scam will happen soon, anyone who buy this will use it to scam
There is no special use to buy a DT green trusted account.

+1 and in addition be very careful, an auction of a dark green trust account recently happened and the seller tried to send the wining bidder a fake escrow request.

Odds are this seller will be doing the same type of thing. So please make sure you are dealing with the actual trusted escrow user selected if a deal for this account is reached.

The listing does seem bogus though honestly.
11  Economy / Digital goods / Re: If I were to sell my account... on: May 31, 2016, 11:11:10 AM
post count is good!

username is AWESOME :-)

trust feedback is only slight negative I can see.

If you have the ORIGINAL staked address key for the account it's probably worth around .30 BTC at BTC prev rate of $542.

If you only have a signed message from a few months back or so? probably only worth in the .22 BTC range IMO especially now that you have this thread lol

Oh I haven't noticed that.  I seldom have done trades in the site.  I don't know why there are negative trust feed backs.  Is there a way to remove them?  It seems unfair that someone would post them when I never had any transactions with them.

You can contact the users that left the trust for you and see if they're willing to remove it. But outside of that? Not much u can do. Trust unfortunately is not really moderated unless it's considered spam I believe. I would reach out to the users that left it first though.

14  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [wtb] domain name for cheap, anyone can help? on: May 30, 2016, 03:18:58 AM
Name cheap's *.com domain,  sold for 10$ which is really more expensive than go daddy (4$)

That's usually just a NEW Godaddy Account promo price for 1 Domain name or with the purchase of another godaddy product, $4 is not the normal pricing for their .com domains.

I didn't know you were only looking for a .com, I thought you were just looking for a cheap domain name in general which is why I mentioned the Crazy 88 sale namecheap was having. You can actually get some nice domain names from them for $0.88 usd and use bitcoin to do it. Just a suggestion :-) Good luck with your search though!

Namecheap also comes with free privacy guard as well for the first year of registration. Just FYI!
15  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [wtb] domain name for cheap, anyone can help? on: May 30, 2016, 03:01:51 AM
namecheap accepts bitcoin and they have domain names for 0.88 cents usd

If I'm understanding the "trust system" correctly, it would only take a DT1 member to add an account to it's trust list and give it a positive rating of some kind correct for that account to be considered dark green and DT2? If that's the case I'm sure it's possible for any DT1 member to have multiple DT2 accounts,
~snip~
Well you are correct when you say a person is added to DT2 when a person from DT1 adds them to their trust list but the rest of the system works differently, giving an account dark green requires at least 2 members from DT to give the account positive trust. Also, I dont think and DT1 user will risk their place by adding their alts to DT2

@Funny If a Level 1 Default trust member adds someone to his trust list, he would be on Level 2 Default trust. (Giving a positive feedback is not required.)

Yeah adding a positive feedback does not make it dark green trust either. IIRC it is a function of number of trusted feedbacks and number of months after the very first feedback.

If someone is in Default trust level 1, he doesn't need another default trust level 2 anyway. Having your own trust list like most established members do will take care of all the problems. Cheesy

Ok guys thanks for clearing that up for me on the trust thing, and I agree having your own trust list will eventually solve the problem long term. As far as DT1's not needing additional DT2 accounts? I would agree to a point, but greed does weird things to people. You can at least DOUBLE the value of a standard senior / hero member account by making it a DT2 it seems and with the price of Bitcoin soring at the moment? Probably not out of the realm of possibility :-) I truly hope it's not the case though, but you never know. I hope everyone has a good Memorial Day!

If that's the case I'm sure it's possible for any DT1 member to have multiple DT2 accounts, but I think the majority of the time these account sale threads started by newbies are just conversation starters for sig spammers. I myself have inquired on a couple different threads and never even received a response back from the OP, or the OP will post or pm something like "the account was sold by way of pm" after bids or inquiries have been placed with no proof of the sale. So it's hard to tell in the end. I consider almost any thread started by a "newbie" to be a bogus thread really, until it's proven legitimate otherwise ...lol I also think a lot of the blatantly obvious scam threads are started by members here on purpose as well, so they can pretend to "kick some scammer ass" and build their post counts in the process ...lol I agree with you JOEL though, there are some crazy "CUNTS" here in this forum ...lol and Only GOD knows what's really going on in this place half the time!

18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: No 10 makes plans for potentially awkward UK visit by Donald Trump on: May 22, 2016, 10:34:07 AM
trump is more popular among the british than cameron. he has the courage to say aloud what the ordinary man in the street is thinking.

Please "do some research" on Trump. He is a trust fund kid who was building in New York during the "mob era" without interference somehow hmmmm lol, and used bankruptcy laws EVEN THEN against mom & pop sub-contractors used to further increase his bottom line. This guy is no one to be looked up to! He's NOT saying anything the "ORDINARY MAN" is thinking I assure you. He's saying aloud what a very "Select HYPOCRYTICAL Group of People" are thinking. This man's insecurities & bigotry is so obvious that he resorts to "name calling" when he has no answers...lol I don't like Hilary either, so this is NOT a political statement. The TWO Party system we have is a total joke...lol Please see below reference which basically sums it up!

The U.S. Political System is antiquated at best and most of the political positions are no longer needed. Our voices and votes can be registered & heard with the touch of a button. State reps were needed during the horse & buggy era, but not today. The total corruption is sickening, threatening government shutdowns to get bills passed etc... These politicians should be charged with TREASON IMO. Nothing will change until THE PEOPLE GET FED UP and storm in and throw them all out into the street. The bottom 40% of the USA has an average NET WORTH of -$10,000 or something like that...lol That's MINUS $10,000 they owe after they sell off EVERYTHING THEY OWN! So these are not the TAKERS, they have no money. Follow the money and you'll see WHO the TAKERS are...lol I find it amusing when people use the term "welfare" as a negative term, but "bankruptcy" is smart business....lol It's hard to have common sense and live in today's society I tell you! People who are NOT Native American complaining about immigration? SMH LOL

19  Economy / Digital goods / Re: urgent need help! selling my sr. member account on: May 15, 2016, 04:12:36 AM
Does it have a signed message to prove ownership from a staked address? If so how far back?

I see you say neutral trust, but is there any red trust from even untrusted members?

well, im guessing that Bleutrade never read their emails about the update to 2.1. There is no malfunction in the wallet, the only malfunction was in the brain of whoever is in charge of updating wallets over there.

I opened a support ticket about it and told them to update.

I've always gotten responses to tickets at Bleu so we'll see.

im just not very happy with them saying that its being delisted due to a malfunction in the wallet, when the only "malfunction" was someone not reading their email/tweets about the update, and they forked

 Angry

as far as them delisting, i could care less, i just dont like the blame being put on us when it's completely their fault.

Agreed and I will no longer be using them because of this either. Bleutrade made a BIG mistake here!
