I think everyones making this overly complicated unnecessarily
the system has payb.tc has been originally designed is working perfect for withdrawls and deposits IMO
it may take up to 24 hrs but it may only take a few minutes if u get lucky +1 here too With a savings account paying this interest (that's 6.9 friggin' percent A WEEK guys!), I have absolutely NO problem whatsoever waiting 24 hrs for a withdrawal. its beyond me that people are designing more complicated withdrawl programs when the current ones are fine its probably a good thing that payb.tc has to glance over the withdrawls manually and then them approve them as doing by script would be another way fraud coould happen if the site was hacked when he was sleeping and someone managed to steal the coins i understand where you're coming from, but using a data structure like a priority queue only makes things more complicated (a bit of programming) in order to ultimately make things less complicated and i'd hope he'd still use a manual withdrawal system, it would just help smooth things out before he even looks at them i'm biased though, that data structures class gave me a hard-on

maybe a priority queue?
within 24h (immediatly), on next deposit, on next interest payout
edit: i knew ranked queue sounded wrong

the glasses to non-glasses ratio is troubling

Consider how this appears from those outside looking in.
That said, all of pirate's detractors here on the forums are on a witch hunt. If I confirm or deny ANYTHING, they will twist what I say to fit their point of view and keep the flame war going. So, I am in the unenviable position of "damned if I do, damned if I don't". The hostile environment created here is not conducive to sharing information in a way that is either helpful or respectful. all publicly disclosed info about pirate's operation quacks like a duck. ducks are illegal and damaging to almost everyone that goes near, and some people *really* hate them, so they're going to scream every time they hear another quack. saying you're not a duck doesn't prove anything, and saying you know he's not a duck and that we can trust him—because he pays you (on time!)—doesn't prove anything. basically, take the heat and enjoy your money imo.

Do you need 120 confirmations or something?
If you're not happy, go to Vegas.
i think you're confused, this *is* my 120 confirmations

You guys are so ridiculous sometimes.
I've dared to looked at a pirate, eye to eye, and I can say that I'm happy that I did.
wait, what? so pirate comes out with this public meeting, basically calling out the whole community.. if you dare, and all that then only has shill-based confirmation (hardly any), and it's "you guys" that are being ridiculous?

I was making a bet on satoshidice, the power dimmed and my net connection dropped. Now the client has the coins deducted from my wallet, and blockchain.info says they never made it. Running bitcoin-qt with -rescan didn't change anything, now what?
tx id was :0b15a8e14705f1617e935970c155da4dd9876cc2f826648a11c8a050cf3c85b5
edit:
looks like just waiting a few minutes made it go through, wish the client was more clear.

how'd you fix this? getting the same error

my inet radar which i've been using to hit on internet chicks for close to thirty years says not a chick.
this it's making me cringe when people refer to this weirdo as "her"

i doubt many would follow his lead and sell coins cheap for very long

If I was running something like that I'd have paid off all the astronomical-interest initial debt by now and would have set up a front that could get loans from banks at market rates.
i keep seeing people say this, but if he had to buy the estimated 200k+ BTC instead of borrow it, wouldn't that affect the exchange rate quite a bit and potentially make whatever it is he's (theoretically) doing with them not work?

LOL, there isn't anything illegal about deploying hashrate in excess of 50.1%. It's not my fault that that the flaw even exist.

Pretty sure there's something illegal about leveraging a botnet though, isn't there?

uhh, i don't know about you, but a "drastically different jawline" was one of my favorite physical changes from 18-24

Wish I could figure out how to get money into bitfloor though.. I don't have an ING bank anywhere close to where I live (I'd like to have a way to get cash in hand), and I'd rather not pay fees for wire. The free ACH withdrawal is nice though; i'm assuming ach is what dwolla uses to get money from them into your own personal bank.
I used POPMoneyto fund my account, I was surprised my credit union has it. $2 fee for standard (took me 4 days), $10 fee for next day but there's a $500 daily limit Been very happy with bitfloor.

6.5188 BTC recieved, thanks for this.
Even though it's only a portion of my deposit, it still feels comforting that someone is trying to make things right (with actual actions!). A refreshing change to the vulnerability/despair I've been feeling from how the other guys have been handling this.

edit: nevermind, i'm a paranoid burnout
Did you get the problem sorted out? Yes, thanks. Graveyard shift rots the brain.

edit: nevermind, i'm a paranoid burnout Ok, I'm an idiot. I tried using the anonymous feature to send some BTC to myself, but I ended up apparently sending to the address [derp] which I have absolutely no clue where it came from. I thought I copied my desktop wallet's address from bitcoin-qt, but I noticed I never got them, and then I realized this rogue address was in my clipboard, and it's where they got sent to. None of my address books have this address, google doesn't have this address, and forum search turned up nothing, and it has no previous transactions. ..and now it has a confirmation. any ideas what the heck happened?
