We are interested to set up a new alt coin but before we do we would like to understand in more detail some of the risks associated with that. We would like to get an initial amount of coins for our group (1 million - is this possible?) and invest an initial amount of max. 100K EUR to help the currency take off the ground. Could someone please point out a thread where the same thing was done for another altcoin so that we can see how things went afterwards.

Are there any threads discussing opinions from institutional investors about altcoins?

First and foremost the users on this thread should understand that on many internet forums and chats that discuss politics and sensitive matters, there are government users posting under various accounts that "take the government side".

The question is not properly written. It should have been "How many americans have been killed by the US Government?". The case of a radical muslim sympathizer is put forward, but it makes me laugh that one single occurrence is discussed so much when in fact there are hundreds of thousands dead, through the classical "accident method".

Our small group would like to start an alternative crypto-currency. This would become the default group currency. We are in the process of setting up a small country on group's land (i.e. contacting other UN countries to obtain recognition and support) and we expect that the currency would gain weight.
