Why do they need help selling?

How can payouts start an hour after I purchse if they don't have all the hardware? Seems like something that would apply to a ponzi, not a legitimate mining operation.

Maybe they need to manually activate your account or what's more likely their software calculate the profit once per hour and update the client accounts.
5122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predict Bitcoin price in 2020 on: May 11, 2015, 12:51:11 PM
At least 1000USD. Hard to say if prices like $5000 a coin are sustainable even in 5 years.
5123  Other / Meta / Re: Need some Explanation on: May 11, 2015, 12:49:12 PM
14 activity per 14 days period. You should make at least 1 post in 14 days period for accumulating it. If you don't make any post in 14 days period, 14 activity points of that 14 days period is lost.

Activity timings -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582736.0

means maximum activity one can get in 14 days is 14..am i right??
That's right.

$ 2 4 0 COMING UP

Ain't nothing wrong with dreaming. When things are this hopeless, what else is there?
Somehow newbies are always eager to write such statements. Almost every single "bitcoin is dead" post on this forum comes from a new account.

This is interesting. Scientology is not doing so well, maybe it's time for the rise of Satanism...

A rape is a rape, marriage has nothing to do with it.
5127  Other / Meta / Re: How to get added in Default Trust List? on: May 02, 2015, 01:44:04 PM
I want to know how one gets added in a default trust list?
Can someone help please?

~Rony

Provide accurate trust feedbacks on other users and a user on Default Trust or Default trust itself will add you to their's own trust lists, soon or later.
In other words kiss ass and hope for the best?
5128  Other / Off-topic / Re: How much money do you carry with you? on: April 30, 2015, 10:04:56 PM
I usually take enough to buy whatever I need to buy. If I go to buy groceries it's about $50 - 20 and I almost never carry more than $30. When I want to buy something big I take my card not cash.
5129  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I start Investing USD? (Betterment?) on: April 30, 2015, 09:25:06 PM
I give you 3 options

1 bitcoins
2 Gold
3 Stock market

And if you are looking for quick returns then just forget it.. you cant make quick money from above 3 products.
You have to be patient because all these investments are for long run. And if you are looking for quick money then i suggest you to go for betting on sports.  Smiley

There are more options, you can for example buy good whiskey wine or even art if you like. Silver especially in the form of old coins can be a good investment.
5130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest problem holding back Bitcoin on: April 30, 2015, 09:16:56 PM
Is UK being hostile towards Bitcoin? What excuse do your banks give you when they say they won't accept your money? If banks accept money from casinos and brothels why wouldn't they support a Bitcoin business?
5131  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is cloud mining reliable? on: April 30, 2015, 07:11:32 PM
Hi i've been searching about cloudmining and would like to invest on it.

i came across genisis mining and scrypt.cc

can any of you guys please tell me if its worth it? and please tell me about your experience... thank you!

If you really want to invest go for trustworthy operators like Hashnest or Bit-x. Don't invest in scrypt.cc because it is very likely that it's a ponzi and don't invest in genesis-mining because it is unprofitable compared to Hashnest or Bit-x .

Wasn't that what they said about amhash and ltcgear?
There are no trustworthy operators in cloud mining.
5132  Other / Meta / Re: Link Underneath 'Trust' on: April 20, 2015, 04:56:30 PM
Frankly I would just like the system to be :

good deal      + trust
bad deal       -  trust

and if it is for being an impostor   - trust and then ban the account

Here is my profile

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=64507  all good

here is my impostor :

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=443374

I don't understand why he is not auto banned

What about 'I don't like you or don't agree with you so i'll give you a negative' trust?

5134  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 999dice.com is a scam !! on: April 20, 2015, 04:39:23 PM
999dice is a notorious scam, many people know it. Once stunna said he never trusts 999dice and betcoin.tm. These 2 sites turned out to be both scam sites since last year. Don't play there!!

There was never a definite proof of them being a scam even if it looks sketchy, as long as you verify your bets they are legit. This scam accusation is just another rage gambling yonki that lost unless he provides some good proof

Proof of scam would surely work wonders here. Accusations don't really say much when someone posts them from a new account.
5135  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Appeal to Sig-Campaign Managers to Exclude "Meta" & "Politics & Society" on: April 20, 2015, 04:23:47 PM
The purpose of this thread is pretty clear, I find that the posts in Politics & Society are unnecessary and off-topic, it is my opinion, it doesn't matter if you agree with it or not...

It does matter. This is a forum and opinions written here do matter. If you want to suggest something and don't want to see the opinions of other people write a PM.
5136  Other / Off-topic / Re: Word on the street about satoshi... on: April 18, 2015, 12:47:14 AM
Satoshi is an alien. He came from the stars gave us Bitcoin and flew away. Roll Eyes
5137  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How would you introduce Bitcoin to your friends and family? on: April 18, 2015, 12:21:07 AM
I wouldn't. From that moment on, from them being hacked to the price plunging, every single occurrence will forever be your fault.

Let them find it for themselves. If they mention it in that light then offer some advice and leave it be.

If you give them a bit they won't be worried about losing it or price difference. Who cares - it was free!
5138  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why are so many people mean here?! lol on: April 18, 2015, 12:06:20 AM
Because it's not a forum made fun but money. Everyone is grumpy on finance forums, just like they are in real life.
5139  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Oregon Sheriff Will Not Enforce Proposed Background Checks on Private Gun Sales on: April 17, 2015, 11:30:09 PM
In most countries weapons have to be registered. At least in the U.S. they aren't restricting your right to own it, just want you to take the responsibility.
As for the buyback don't they have cameras in there? I'd be afraid to drop a stolen weapon there after shooting someone.
5140  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining - Please help a newbie on: April 17, 2015, 11:08:29 PM

I see... But it's ok to stack PoS coin yourself isn't it? If the premine is low. I know paycoin is a scam, but I stake paycon now and it looks quite interesting Grin

I don't really see the point but if you like extremely high risk investments ... go ahead.

You're right it's better to gamble than cloud mine at least they won't run with your money.
