I searched for this topic, but couldn't find anything. Sorry if I post a possibly old topic.
Last week I finally got my BFL gear delivered to the colocation site from Netsolus. They refused to use Bitminter as a pool because: "The stable build mining application when connected to the bitminer pool causes nonce size violations and the pool fails to accept shares." [Netsolus support, 2013-10-20]
They use the stable build of cgminer. Could this be fixed? Am I the only one having these problems? I would like to uns Bitminter for my BLF devices, too.
Greeting, HK

I'm really excited, that my favorit BFC exchange now has a cooperation with a Bank. Some might think this doesn't match the bitcoin philosophy, but I think it is a big step for bitcoin to gain more acceptance in old school businesses. Opening an account takes just a few minutes, interface looks good and modern. Let's see how the cooperation works out.

Will EVER bitminter get sorted with stability problems? What a surprise. doc tweeted that he is getting DDOS'ed at the moment. Ouch... Maybe it's time to invest some money for better service? Or, FINALLY, implement an optional backup-pool in the software. (Waiting for this for a long time...)(don't know if this was discussed lately, sorry if so) Nobody can or should demand a 100% stable service. The miner and the pool are terrific enough! Nothing to complain about. But just the opportunity to add a backup pool for these short periods with problems would be an enormous bonus for all of us. PLEASE!!!

Whoever developed this app, please add support for the bitminter-pool (bitminter.com)! I would love to use this app, have it installed, waiting till it supports my main pool! Would donate!

I'll be switching my gpu's over to LTC when my 8 jalapenos arrive
Dare I ask why 8 jal? The price of 8 jal is equiv. to a Single, yet your producing 28 Gh/s as opposed to 40Gh/s. you're paying the same price for less hashing. Im just curious because Im considering the investment myself. I did it, too, because of two reasons: 1. My actualy BFL Single FPGA (first generation) is pretty loud, the coffe warmer I expect to be more quiet. 2. I plan to invest in a ASIC Mini Rig asap, after that I can spread my jal around to "spread the word" and get my family and friends into bitcoin, too.

Hi there. i tried this site to earn some BTC and I used my so far seldom used twiter account. You get paid for retweeting, the more followers you have, the more BTC. http://feedzebirds.com/Now, if some of you would like to follow me, my earnings would increase. I will of course follow you, too, so your earnings would increase, too. my twitter account: @HHako7 let's make it work!

I ordered a mini rig today, let's see how fast they will get it to me. Is Bitminter ready for such a device? shure hope so, otherwise I think we will make it work somehow. Ready for testing...
There's one issue I'm still working on with the beta. It seems to not grab new work from the server fast enough. This will surely be a problem with a mini rig. But it will be fixed long before your mini rig arrives. Currently observed: Windows 7 with 8 singles shows slow work queue buildup but runs ok. Mac OS X with 10 singles ends up with an utterly depleted work queue and devices idling. A fix for this should be coming soon. Congrats on getting a mini rig! I think it's awesome that so many in the pool are getting singles and mini rigs. I aim to make the miner run as smoothly on them as possible. Thanks, that sound's good. Do you have an overview, how many singles and mini rigs are/will be there in the BitMinter network?
