Version 3.0.0 Windows [Status: beta] MD5: bec8a39985e2281683f7b98d92470717 Virustotal reportWarning: if you are a professional miner with tens/hundreds of GPUs, please use version 2.0.1 with suprnoval TLS servers for now. Version 3.0.0 has big changes in the core and so it is better to wait perhaps 24 hours to see that all is working fine. But if you are just a casual miner/enthusiast - please do try version 3.0.0. If you see any problems, like "devpool disconnected" warnings... Please report them to the forum or PM WinMKX. Version 3.0.0 works with any stratum+tcp pools. For example: mkxminer.exe --exitsick --asm -o stratum+tcp://lyra2.easymine.online:5000 -u Vjjhnmiy2HAfWBq4n7mn7NmUPVki12unyi -p x -I 23 Link1Link2

Am I right in assuming that the only reason this doesn't work with MPH for example is due to the dev fee? I.e. it's only setup for the pools which the dev has a setup to receive their dev fee to??
I contacted MPH operator with questions regarding his TLS setup and user management about 3 days ago, still no reply. But
I am working on a version that will work with ANY pools (including MPH). stratum+tcp and stratum+tls. Planning to release before Xmas

I have 4 Vega 64 and get the following error when I start.
D:\>mkxminer.exe --exitsick --asm -o stratum+tls://stak.suprnova.cc:7710 -u techminer407.default -p x -I 23 --engine 1100 --memclock 300 --auto-fan --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 80 --temp-target 62 --fan 100 --powertune 20 'mkxminer.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
D:\>GOTO RUNAGAIN
Config
:RUNAGAIN mkxminer.exe --exitsick --asm -o stratum+tls://stak.suprnova.cc:7710 -u techminer407.default -p x -I 23 --engine 1100 --memclock 300 --auto-fan --temp-cutoff 90 --temp-overheat 80 --temp-target 62 --fan 100 --powertune 20 GOTO RUNAGAIN
You are running this from D:\ drive. Can you check that D:\mkxminer.exe exists?

Would REALLY love a Linux version of this miner !!! I don't want to be a pest, but curious if you have had any other requests for a Linux version. Is it just a matter of re-compiling it, or is there quite a lot of work involved? If I had the skills, I would offer to help. Hello! I was able to compile it, but it somehow failed to run (crashed). I'll have debug this, but first I need to set up a Linux rig (my first one :-)). I think I'll be able to release a Linux port in about 1-2 weeks from now. Right now I'm working on increasing the mining speed a little bit (perhaps 1%) and adding non-SSL/TLS pools support [because looks like that's what most users want]. Thanks

Hello! I'll contact you directly via PM with some more questions. Hopefully, we'll be able to resolve it shortly and I'll add a fix to next version. Thanks

First of all: Great miner! I was running this miner as a test for 4 days on my R9 270X and it worked great. But unfortunately when I tried running it with my RX 580 it instant crashes my pc. All other mining software work fine, no issues. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I've tried changing the platforms, I've tried running it with and without --asm but it still crashes the PC no matter what.
Anyone got any advice?
Hello! Try different AMD drivers. 16.10.3 definitely works fine. I'm using it myself on RX580. Try example.cmd (included in mkxminer) without any changes. Still crashes? Thanks.

Update: the new version that works with VTC suprnova pool is ready, but release is delayed. Hopefully not for a long time. Initial difficulty on vtc pool is too high, should be an easy fix. Once it's fixed, the new version will be released.

Update: a new version that works with suprnova VTC pool will be released today in about 12 hours!
So you will be able to mine your Vertcoin.

Version 2.0 - Speed for Fiji is down(-5MH/s). I setting the same old version
Thank you.
Hello! This is unexpected. I did not modify the kernels for this release. Which Fury do you have? I have access to Fury X and can double check. What speeds did you have in v1 and have in v2 now? Usually, you have to wait about 5 minutes to get accurate speed measurements. Thanks I wait around 50 min, speed is not up (environment and config is the same old version) My card is R9 Fury Nano see picture Please provide your command line (avoid putting your login and password!). Do you have the --asm in command line? Intensity should be 23 for best results. You may need to increase Windows swap size to 30GB or otherwise the miner will not start (Windows drivers limitation). Fist time I use --asm and now I try test with out --asm is getting the same speed!! It different from old version, when use --asm get speed up. Command setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 mkxminer.exe -d 0,2,3,4,5 --exitsick --asm -o stratum+tls://stak.suprnova.cc:7710 -u login.worker -p x -I 23 Windows swap is virtual memory ? I set to 45GB You are correct. I was able to replicate the problem. Please give me one hour to upload new version. Thanks for finding this!
