I've had some fun with it but never had the urge to really delve too deep into it as anything aside from a friendly poker game or wager on pool games here and there.I do have two family members who are gambling addicts and it is insane the money they've blown over the years. No matter how much money they earn they are always broke and living day-to-day, it is almost worse than a drug addiction because an addict can only spend so much and then overdose and possibly die, these people will blow ridiculous amounts of hard-earned money and have nothing to show for it.

I had no idea so many were climbing Everest until I saw the pics on the news this weekend. The average amount of time to complete the expedition is 7-9 weeks, costs @ $30-50k, and there's a 1-in-10 chance of dying on the way down. I think I'll pass...

These people are delusional...their reality is so warped, it is mind-numbing.

Prefer the old simpsons. New seasons dont have the humour they used to
Co-signed. I like the early seasons of the show and maybe I just got burnt out but not a fan of the newer shows.

At this point, few SHOULD fall victim to various cons and schemes, but unfortunately, many still do. I can't believe so many people still do fall victim to the various scams abound, but as stated in the thread title, greed and emotions leave people vulnerable. If it is too good to be true, it almost always is but some just are completely oblivious or think that since there is a slight hope they may gain love or riches, it is worth taking the chance. The perpetrator of a confidence trick (or "con trick") is often referred to as a confidence (or "con") man, con-artist, or a "grifter". Samuel Thompson (1821–1856) was the original "confidence man". Thompson was a clumsy swindler who asked his victims to express confidence in him by giving him money or their watch rather than gaining their confidence in a more nuanced way. A few people trusted Thompson with their money and watches. Thompson was arrested in July 1849. Reporting about this arrest, Dr. James Houston, a reporter of the New York Herald, publicized Thompson by naming him the "Confidence Man".Although Thompson was an unsuccessful scammer, he gained reputation as a genius operator mostly because Houston's satirical writing wasn't understood as such. The National Police Gazette coined the term "confidence game" a few weeks after Houston first used the name "confidence man".
A confidence trick is also known as a con game, a con, a scam, a grift, a hustle, a bunko (or bunco), a swindle, a flimflam, a gaffle, or a bamboozle. The intended victims are known as marks, suckers, stooges, mugus, rubes, or gulls (from the word gullible). When accomplices are employed, they are known as shills. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confidence_trick

Most people you encounter are sheep and are against any and all change to their thinking and way of life, unwilling to accept anything that goes against the norm or is different.
it's quite unfortunate mate, I totally agree with you, people like this are the reason why most get discouraged to get into crypto, but I believe this won't last forever, soon enough, they all have their fingers to bite Most definitely. I truly believe the die is cast and Bitcoin will be a daily part of everyone's life and then those same people who disbelieved will be praising it and clamoring for satoshis in the not-so-distant future.

Being from the US, we've got access to all kinds of food and restaurants. As far as foods famous from here, I'd go with chicken fried steaks, hamburgers, and Tex-Mex - Italian and Mediterranean for my all-around favorite foods not from home.

Roger Moore and The Spy Who Loved Me is probably my favorite Bond actor and film, it used to be a treat when ABC would show the latest Bond film on tv (this was back before there was cable tv and you were lucky if you had four channels) and I can still remember watching that one when it premiered on tv. Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, and View To A Kill were all favorites way back when - Never Say Never Again with Connery was great, also. Haven't seen too many of the newer Bond films, I do think Daniel Craig has done a good job as the latest Bond, no idea who I'd pick to follow him, though.

I usually leave my phone at home when I go out on errands unless I am expecting an important call, I don't feel the need to be tied to it 24/7 but then I am not a big fan of social media, either. My home computer, though - now that would be hard to part with as that does make-up a large part of my day.

Wouldn't this classify as bio-hazard? Wait, are these stored under high pressure for them to pop when opened? Which package company would pick and move those without failing checks? And i fear for the poor people having to inspect those suspicious packages.
The packages aren't packaged to pop, some you can choose what animal's excrement you want sent lmfao Here's a couple of review videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiBSru19R_ghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jR9dSWLLjJU

Eagerly awaiting to hear the results of this from the OP... I had looked into using one of these services a while back to send to a former band member, unfortunately he had moved and I couldn't pin down an address for him lmao

From drugs to increase muscle mass, can
Anabolic/androgenic steroids will not decrease the size of ones penis in any way - that is a total and complete myth. Now the usage/dosage of some anabolic/androgenic steroids may result in the temporary shrinkage of the testicles, but they will go back to their normal size upon cessation of the substances.

...the New York Times was forced to admit that her initial algorithm that earned her a place on the team was not even used in creating the famous image.
Even after two researchers made clear that this was a joint effort, the media remains hyper focused on Bouman’s contribution, likely because she is a young, female researcher. In their rush to credit Bouman, the media has completely glossed over the other 206 scientists spread across 17 countries who worked diligently to provide the first ever image of a black hole. https://bigleaguepolitics.com/update-male-feminist-cowers-to-media-on-black-hole-image-bows-to-woman-who-wrote-0-26-of-code/

If it did not cost to house them, I'd say life imprisonment in the worst prisons - seeing the cost over the years, just snuff them out and be done with them.

I was skimming through the horror flicks on solarmovie and ended-up re-watching Maniac (1980 version with Joe Spinnell), Tom Savini has a cameo and did the special make-up effects.
